Atlantica Sea Breeze

A beachfront setting and a pair of à la carte restaurants are just a couple of the things you’ll love here.

This place, operated by Atlantica, has a peaceful beachfront setting, with its own little rocky cove. As secluded as it is, a 10-minute bus ride takes you right into the town centre – there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel.

Bedrooms here are really modern. They all come with matching bed linen, and contemporary over-sized headboards. From May 2016, this hotel will become part of the Thomson Sensimar collection.

A good place to relax

We enjoyed our week here very much. Our room was on the first floor, overlooking a car park but comfortable and clean if a little dated. Noisy air conditioning and I would have liked to have made the room cooler but the controls are basic. Buffet food was fine and there was always plenty of choice. The included visit to the Italian a la carte restaurant was very enjoyable. Nice pool and a swim up bar. Loungers around the pool were always reserved - I would suggest the hotel management puts a stop to this as it's irritating and many were unoccupied for hours on end. We always chose loungers in the garden and there was regular service from the bar staff. Entertainment was actually quite enjoyable. The resident duo were proficient and the guest acts were fun. Danielle, the entertainments manager works very hard - aqua aerobics, poolside quizzes, pool volleyball etc but it's your choice if you join in or not. The spa is lovely. We each had 2 treatments and felt very well-cared for. The big plus here is the customer service. All staff - concierge, cleaners, bar and restaurant servers, spa staff and receptionists - are pretty amazing and very friendly. George runs a tight ship in the restaurant and Georgia in the bar was always ready with a joke. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel for buses into Protaras or further (€1.50 flat fare) or a taxi which costs €9. We booked the 3 hour cruise advertised in the hotel and had a very enjoyable trip. Just 2 improvements to suggest (apart from not reserving loungers), the wifi is supremely annoying. It is available throughout the hotel (big plus) but you have to log in every time you use it. Why? Also, sometimes it was impossible to get connected without forgetting the network and then reconnecting. Secondly, there are no tissues in the room. Small point but that would have been nice. In all, this is a decent 4 star hotel and we had a lovely stay. Thanks to all the hard-working staff.More

Which is the reason we have used the Sea Breeze more than once and have just returned from another relaxing holiday here. We did taxi transfer as hotel is the last drop-off. Rated low because we do not consider the hotel overall as a 4T compared to others we have used. A small hotel, fairly plain décor, but the staff are efficient and friendly and service everywhere is excellent. There is a good grassed area for sunbathing and no rush to get brolly/bed each morning. Beds round the pool taken early. Decent sized pool with a swim up bar. Short walk downhill to a small cove. There is a Spa and inside pool but we did not use these so cannot comment. Excellent bar service to the sunbeds with different treats around 11 each day. Some poolside activities but Hannah simply asked if you wanted to take part and you were not forced into anything. Pool towels provided, change three times a week Not a hotel which is wheelchair friendly, as there is only one suitable toilet which is on the ground floor so it means taking a lift from the bar/entertainment area down to this. Pool toilets are down several steps. Free safe in room. Also a “fridge” but this is more a cool box. Mineral water provided, as is kettle with supplies of beverages. Hair dryer supplied. A snack is left in the room for late arrivals. Speedy and efficient check-in, with a welcoming drink, and Pavlos quickly takes luggage to room. Apart from Restaurant buffet you can choose from a menu at certain times of day. The Italian made a change – nice to be waited on, the only snag, no indication it was only three courses, bit embarrassing when you had chosen more. Not all drinks in AI package those included are marked with asterisks and there was a lot of choice. Rooms different shapes but all with sufficient hanging space and drawers. Some with better views than others. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean. Air conditioning worked well. Towels changed each day. Not a lot in the area but buses to Protaras and, a much longer journey, to Ayia Napa. Supermarket opposite hotel. Reasonable entertainment, although the area where it takes place has lots of pillars which obscure the view. There is an outside terrace but difficult to see entertainment from here, and it is a smoking area. I found the food adequate – not a lot of variation but between the hot and cold choices I usually found something and did not starve, disappointingly the choices were repeated after a week and, in my view, there were not enough tasty regional dishes. My partner did not struggle as much and most people seemed to enjoy the food; good selection of hot and cold at breakfast. The corridor from the restaurant out to the toilets and pool area always smelled very strongly of cooking and the smell permeated the toilets and lifts. The Manager said this issue was being addressed and hopefully, by next season, should improve. Several nationalities use this hotel and it was great making new friends, albeit struggling with the languages, but you got by and everyone was friendly. In fact, this was one of the friendliest hotels we have used. You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear but despite this I would use this hotel again.More

WOW! Amazing hotel!

We visited 6th-20th September, from the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles cheeriness, a truly wonderful atmosphere and a cool drink! That was fantastic! Check in was simple and was completed in minutes! Weather wise the first 3 days unfortunately we had a dust storm from Syria that covered Cyprus, the hotel staff though were amazing! They worked effortlessly to keep the hotel clean and dust free (and it's a big hotel!!) especially in the evening on the terrace which was dust free! (Which was handy as I wore a black dress the first night) They were always able to keep us updated with local news and other little questions we had, The seating area round the pool you have to get in quick in the morning but the seating on the grass is actually ok and not that far from the pool or the bar! (Plus the bar staff come round and ask if you want a drink so you don't have to get up) The pool has a seated area (of 6seats) round the swim up bar a small jacuzzi type area in the main pool and a separate jacuzzi next to the pool, the inside pool we didn't use but is lovely and small and is enough to do lengths in peace. The food was varied and very tasty! And is even ok for fussy people like me! There is always food throughout the day. The rooms are modern and enough space, the bed is really comfy. It's on the beach too which the only thing I will say is wear shoes walking to the beach as on the first part of the sand there are these little bushes that drop these seeds with spikes on ... As we found out.. Ouch! The hotel has everything you need! One thing you will notice the hotel staff are always smiling, saying hello, always cheery and always there to help! I have never known a hotel to have staff so happy it really brings up the atmosphere and quality of the hotel! Best hotel/holiday so far! And will most definitely be returning in the future!! The Atlantica seabreeze has really outdone itself and I would personally say it is worthy of its 4* status and I would definitely give it an A* in every aspect!! Thank you Atlantica Seabreeze for a wonderfully time! More

Excellent Hotel

My husband and I have had a very hard year. He has his own business and I work full-time, with a large extended family. Life is always so busy. This is the first time we have been away on our own for over 20 years. I can only say that this hotel is fantastic!! From the moment that we arrived on the 23/09/15 to the time we left the staff were so attentive. Drinks on arrival and Drinks on departure. The food is excellent, with a huge choice. I have never been to a Hotel with such fantastic staff. The Restaurant manager George runs a very tight ship, nothing is to much for him or his staff. The pool and sun bed area's were spotlessly clean. The staff waited on you whist you relaxed on your sun bed. Again nothing was to much for them. They kept asking if you were OK, did you need another drink. They even brought ice cream to you. The pool snacks were amazing ( never experienced anything like it) waiter served and a huge choice. The evening entertainment was really good, Tribute acts and traditional Cyprus dancers. Our sea view room number 336 was immaculate and very modern. We spent a lovely relaxing morning in the Hotel Spa and had a couples massage,The cost was very reasonable and was a real treat for both of us. Our meal in the Italian restaurant (free once during your stay) was superb with a very romantic ambience about it. We felt that this hotel was very high class. If your looking for a break away from a hectic life, then this holiday is for you. We only spent one week there, but feel like we have had a months rest.Thank you so much to all the hard working staff for the best holiday we have ever had!!More

"Our Cyprus favourite , but could be better ! "

Back again to our favourite location. A nice new path in the garden . Better access to the small bay ( though you have to pay for these sun beds !) Overall holiday excellent. Staff as usual first class. Accommodation very comfortable, and food quality very good. George Maitre'D is an asset to the company and is aided by Marios in the excellent Italian a'la Carte . But ,as last year , the hotel is still let down by ---- 1) The DRESS CODE ,worse than ever ! Are you aiming to be a 4* or a 3* Hotel !!! Some reviews seem to think that this is an ageist comment? But all the better Hotels have men wearing long trousers ,in the evening!! Your partner makes the effort to look smart !! 2) The volume of the evening entertainment is still far too loud for a relatively small lounge. Going outside to the Neptune pool bar to have a conversation is not my idea of a relaxing evening !!! 3) Sun beds still need replacing! PS -- on a lighter note is green jelly a Cyprus favourite !!!!More
