My husband and I have just returned from a two week stay at the Nissi Beach hotel where we got married. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had an unforgettable wedding day and can't wait to return. We stayed in a beach bungalow, which was superb location, close to the main hotel, pool, beach and wedding gazebo. The only disappoint was that we were led to believe it would be one of the new refurbished bungalows but it wasn't. It was still lovely but not as light, airy and spacious as the newer ones. Before we had even arrived at the hotel Marios was excellent at communicating information and settled any pre wedding nerves. When we arrived in resort, again Marios was extremely helpful and introduced us to Caroline. They both took the time to speak and listen to us and take an interest in our special day. Nothing was too much trouble, putting me in touch with Anna the hairdresser. Caroline even rang me on the morning of the wedding to check that I was ok and reassured me everything was and would be fine. Although we were not introduced straight away, we eventually met Tasos - master of ceremonies. He was truly amazing and even though we had only just met him he made us feel special and bent over backwards to ensure the day was everything we wanted and more. He kindly made two journeys to pick my bridesmaids and I up from my beach bungalow so that I could do the beautiful walk through the gardens from the hotel. He ensured all the guests were looked after throughout the day. Our wedding day was absolutely wonderful from start to finish and we loved all the little extras; fruit and champagne on arrival, champagne breakfast in our room the morning after and the 3 course candlelit dinner after the wedding. We were expecting it to be hot but it was during the heat wave that we got married and the only disappoint we had was that when we got down to the Rondavel beach reception, which was set up beautifully, the fans were not working. This made it quite unbearable for all our guests, especially the young children and elderly. It would have been made better if some of the bigger fans used at the bar had been brought down. The food was excellent, with lots of choice and there was plenty to go round that most guests made 3/4 visits. It was a very relaxing and calm build up to the wedding and an amazing day, which was not only because of the beautiful setting but the time, effort and friendliness of the staff. We cannot wait to return in the future - Mr and Mrs Hirons.More

For a relaxing holiday on the beach this was perfect. The sand is so soft, and the water so warm and clear. We had a bungalow, which also gave us a feeling of seclusion, with all the facilities of the hotel nearby.More

Visited in August for a family wedding, fabulous wedding venue with beautiful ground and views. Stayed for 10 nights on half board, food was very very good, plenty of choice (even supplied gluten free bread) accommodation was roomy even with three beds in the room. Bathrooms had obviously been updated and were very good. The beds were disappointing came home with a sore back, also needed more power points in the rooms, there were only 2 sockets to use kettle (supplied in room) hair styling, charging camera, iPhone and iPad. Have saved the best till last, the staff were all fantastic. The resort hosts 2 sometimes 3 weddings a day, you would not have guessed this from the staff, they were very enthusiastic and helpful, brilliant with the children. Thankfully never saw Ayia Napa, hotel far enough away if you don't want to visit. Also need to be very careful with room placements, we had garden rooms which for us parents our daughter and son in law and 2 grandchildren we had adjoining rooms with an interconnecting door which was perfect. However other wedding guests had rooms that backed directly onto the road opposite karaoke bars which are very noisy very late.lMore
