It gets better with age.

We have been to this hotel some 25 years ago, and again 20 years ago with our children, and we all had a great time, and lots of pleasant memories. This time around it was just Mamma & Papa and we thought of trying this hotels again for sentimental reasons, thinking it may have grown too old and it will not be the same, but to our surprise it was just as good as those days or even better. The reception staff were just so accommodating and so warm. We found the rest of the staff warm and friendly. The hotel has been renovated and the gardens are just amazing and so romantic. The breakfast was the best we had in the 6 weeks of travelling Italy and Cyprus. We can't wait to visit this hotel again in the future and a big congrats to the manager and staff of this fabulous hotel on this sunny island of Cyprus.More

Excellent staff, hotel and views of the sea.

Unforgettable holidays. Excellent welcome and services in the hotel. Excellent food. Feeling more than comfortable, like in family with everyone. Big thanks to Suzane (activities) and the most for the chef Pedro, who involved me in doing the flambé in the special dinner and received is in each meal with a big smile and welcome! Thanks for your hospitality and everything!! Pilar C.More

Pilar C,

Very pleasing hotel

My partner and I have just stayed here for our summer beach getaway and it was lovely. Upon arrival we were given a glass of fresh orange juice and a cold flannel- ideal after a long stuffy journey. We were shown to our garden view room- 610, yet this was on the ground floor and had an unpleasant view of the side street. After breakfast the next morning, we were moved to room 338 which had a lovely view of the gardens and you could even see the sea- Bonus! We were offered a sea view room for an additional cost, however, after viewing the room, it really was no different apart from different bed sheets and it actually seemed slightly smaller. The view of course was stunning. Rooms are cleaned daily and to a high standard. I am very fussy with cleanliness but it was literally spotless- you could even smell the cleaning products. Amenities were provided such as shampoo, body wash, shower cap etc and in the room you had tea/coffee making facilities and a safe. Air con was also free of charge, but remember to leave it on during the day so your room is cool when you get back!! The staff were very helpful and accommodating; especially when constantly telling our loud neighbours to turn their music off at 5am! Breakfast was just OK, slightly disappointed but I was expecting this after reading previous reviews. We did not stay all inclusive so I cannot comment on the evening meals, yet I will say food from the beach bars is good. The beach is a stones throw away and it is literally captivating; white sand and clear sea. The only fault is, the area right in front of the hotel gets a huge build up of seaweed from the afternoon onwards so in order to avoid that, go further along. Nissi beach guests get the sun beds at a discounted price of five euros. The hotel provide you with beach towels which you exchange daily- leaves you extra room in your suitcase for more clothes!! Entertainers were present daily at the pool offering the likes of water polo, volleyball and water aerobics so this is ideal if you're travelling as a family. Speaking of the pool, it is bigger than average and there are plenty of sun beds. Free Wifi is provided in the lobby, yet I would have liked it in the room. However, it may be available in sea view rooms with those being in the same building. Check out is at 12 yet you can keep your room on until 6pm for 50 euros. We decided not to and just showered in the spa for free. My partner and I made the mistake of turning left on the first night and found ourselves walking along a deserted road for 45 minutes until we saw any sign of life. So turn right and make sure you visit 'Asador' restaurant; we went twice and found the meal both times to be thoroughly enjoyable. After walking for around 20 minutes you will reach the outskirts of Ayia Napa. A must do: visit Konnos Bay- beautiful.More

Lovely hotel and surroundings

Hotel is extremely clean and fresh, staff are very polite. surroundings and location are amazing, right on the beach. Ayia Napa square is approx a 25-30 min walk straight down the road although there are plenty of bars and restaurants along your way (or a 5 minute taxi).. We only stayed B and B but couldn't fault the pool bar cocktails and any of the food we did try was nice and fresh, probably our favourite hotel we've stayed in so far on a beach holiday in europe? The only negative, got annoyed with 1 lady behind reception- she promised our room to us for a late checkout and on the day of checking out she said we couldn't have it as new guests were arriving- annoying but it still didn't ruin our stay overallMore
