The Ambrosia restaurant is open for buffet breakfast and dinner with impressive sea views and tropical gardens. Themed nights take place here featuring dishes from around the globe and a popular barbecue night. And there's a daily buffet for lunch*, 12pm to 3pm - if you'd like to upgrade to Full Board.
Children will have a ball hanging out at the club, they'll get to make new friends, experience making arts and crafts, take part in games, sports tournaments and play video games. There's also mini bingo, pool games, treasure hunts, picnics and much more. It's hotel-run and fully-supervised fun for children aged 4 to 12 years.

Got married here last year, used the facilities as we were staying in the sister hotel tho year. was drawn back to this fantastic place everyday. The pool is amazing the poolside bar staff are fantastic so friendly, we would chat and laugh with them, they work so hard. They all remembered us from last year. The cocktails and food is of a high standard. The grounds are beautiful and so well kept. The path that leads to the best beach iv ever been to. Its like a lagoon. I will definitely be coming back.More

We rested at this hotel from July 18 until August 1. We arrived with 2 couples, we were greeted with drinks and wet towels. Instead of 6 glasses with drinks they brought 5 glasses, same with towels. Probably they were bad at math. The luggage also had to be hauled to the room by ourselves. But we are not disappointed. The hotel is a large, has a beautiful garden area. It is a beautiful place for a wedding. Good staff at the bar by the pool, friendly and attentive. I liked the guys ENTERTAINERS, fun games and contests. Well done guys, thanks to Susana and Astis ( I hope I not MISTAKEN with name ) Rooms are cleaned well, but poor sound insulation. A couple of days listening to our neighbors performed well once with shouts and moans. Breakfast is standard as elsewhere.More

Great resort and location
We have just returned from 11 nights at Nissi Beach. We were in one of the Beach Suite Bungalows which have been beautifully refurbished, very close to Taverna Nissi and a stone's throw from the warm and (mostly) clear sea. Just around the bay, there was some fairly decent snorkelling.
The layout was excellent with a split level lounge and bedroom area (though anyone with problems climbing a few steps from one to the other might struggle). Soft close drawers with lots of space and fantastic aircon. The eye level safety deposit in the wardrobe meant no kneeling to store valuables. The bathroom was well laid out with a good walk in rainfall shower.
There were 2 large flat screen TVs (which we didn't even turn on so can't comment on channels etc) and plenty of UK standard 3-pin sockets for devices etc. The mini fridge was a little slow to cool items, but it's a real plus to have an empty one and not be charged for its use as some hotels insist on! The bed was huge and once we had a mattress topper added, was very comfortable. The bungalows are cleaned everyday and our maid, Maria, was an absolute treasure!
Our bungalow was very close to the Puma Bar and therefore only about 30m over the grassed area to the promenade. This wasn't a problem, but if you like privacy, be aware of this. As the bungalows will sleep 4, they are mostly occupied by families and groups of young singles, though we did see quite a few other couples too. Most people are really friendly and that's how we discovered how many had been given complimentary upgrades to the bungalows...we had paid the full upgrade price on booking. Perhaps this is part of the 'wedding' culture at the hotel, but it was still a bit of a niggle. It wouldn't stop us booking the bungalows again though. It was lovely to sit on the terrace with a chilled prosecco from the fridge and enjoy the breeze (and watch the people leaping off the cliif!) or slip back into the suite to cool off. The wifi was excellent in the bungalow, so no problem uploading photos and keeping in touch with family.
The resort grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. There are plenty of shady walkways around the main hotel on the sea side (it's a bit hot and sunny walking the inland side). Reception staff are professional and helpful.
Breakfast and dinner are buffets in the hotel and lunch is at the Taverna Nissi near the bungalows. We were half board and usually switched lunch and dinner. I'm quite fussy about buffet food, so my opinions are exactly that; my husband thought the quality and diversity was fine, whereas I became quite bored after a few days. I think the most annoying thing was the lack of a decent 'egg station'; there was pretty dry scrambled egg every day and fried/poached were available on alternate days. I found the poached eggs actually a bit nasty...too much vinegar; the fried eggs were always rubbery and overdone. The crepes were usually dried up and tasted strange. If these were all cooked on request, they'd be much better - and then there could be fluffy omelettes too!
Which brings me to the whole buffet culture. We thought the staff in the restaurants to be rather distant, some positively grumpy! A friendly 'kalimera' usually resulted in a half-hearted reply or none at all. As even the tea and coffee are serve-yourself, there is little interaction. However, there were obvious 'favourites', possibly repeat customers, who got lots of attention to the detriment of other guests. This meant that staff were sometimes slow to clear plates. Just an observation, but this is definitely not the case at the sister hotel, The Alion.
Overall, this is a great resort. Its location is excellent and it can feel a real oasis after the bustling nightlife outside. If we decided to return to this part of Ayia Napa, we would stay here again.More

Sons wedding may 2015
This was a great hotel where my son got married. Everything from venue food drinks was out of this world. The barbque at night was brilliant you would never get that in the UK. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Hoping to go back again next May. The staff are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them.
