my son' wedding

What a lovely place, the hotel was a1 so were the staff. My son and his wife got married here 7 years ago, and what a fabulous wedding it was.the manager gave my son & his wife a free champagne breakfast as a wedding gift, which was not included in the of the waiters was in a restuarant outside of the hotel and gave my son and his wife a cocktail each as a celabratory drink, bearing in mind thisguy would only be on the equivelent of our minimum wage, these people are so kind hearted.when my son said he was going to get married in cyprus my thoughts were, why do they want to married there for, but 2hat a fantastic wedding it was.the whole thing was faultless.we were here in june 2008 not 2015.l highly recommend nissi beach hotel for its beautiful rooms and staff and location, would give this a ten star if l could.the best hotel we have ever stayed at in europe and certainly the best wedding with the reception right on the beach overlooking the waterMore

Paradise for beach lovers!

Just returned from 6 nights @ Nissi Beach Resort and we absolutely loved it. Location is great, on the east side of the island 5min drive from Ayia Napa, about 35min from Larnaca airport, 1hour drive from the capital Nicosia so everything is easily accessible if you rent a car. The hotel itself is great! I think Nissi beach is one of the best beaches on the island, November is low season so it wasn't too crowded, the water was crystal clear, the sun was shining and the beach was a dream. Plenty of bars/snacks around, amazing views and some water sports options as well. We had beach suite 23 and if you can, I would definitely recommend getting a beach bungalow or a beach suite, it makes a huge difference. You are a bit more isolated to the rest of the hotel, right in front of the beach, the bungalow has some loungers and a terrace from where you can also enjoy the view. Pure bliss! We ate a few times at Taverna Nissi and enjoyed it each time, but careful like pretty much everywhere in Cyprus, the portions are enormous!! Overall we had an amazing relaxing week, Nissi Beach is a great hotel we would definitely return. More

highly recommend

Very nice place. Modern Clean and high quality food served, All staff were exceptionally friendly and multi lingual .Entertainment provided even in November. We had been moved to this hotel at short notice by our tour operator. Because Aiya Napa itself is pretty much a ghost town in November we chose half board at this hotel, which incidently was very busy mainly german speaking clients. Its easy to find because it is literally straight off the motorway exit. We stayed in the garden room which was lovely and quiet. Beautiful surroundings. Air con was not really up to much and the towels were not as clean as we'd like, no complaints otherwise. Breakfast buffet catered for all tastes and nationalitiesMore

Beautiful Nissi Beach

We returned this week from a fantastic week at the Nissi Beach Resort. We travelled during October half term and had great weather, averaging 25 degrees all week, warm enough to swim in the sea, although the pool was freezing! As other reviewers have said, the grounds are beautiful, with plenty of places to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful sea views. The main draw is the proximity to Nissi Beach, where the sea is clear and safe for children. There are plenty of beach cafes for refreshments and lots of beach sports such as jet skis etc. We travelled as a family of 4, with children aged 7 and 12. The animation for children was aimed at a younger audience and my 7 year old daughter loved the nightly mini disco and spending time at the mini club and playground with Gabby and Susanna from the animation team, both of whom always made her feel very welcome. My 12 year old son preferred participating in the more adult oriented activities, such as darts and football, expertly led by Ice T, a lovely guy who was so polite and fun and not at all pushy. I hope that the hotel management recognise how much value the animation team add to the experience. Without exception, all staff members at the hotel were exemplary. The service was efficient and polite at all times and nice touches like the welcome drinks and a bottle of lovely red wine and fruit in the room on arrival all added to the experience. We had 2 adjoining rooms, 225 and 226 and these were ideal for a family of 4. Lots of space and amazing sea views (at a premium but so worth the extra). The rooms were clean but fairly basic, although the beds were comfortable and the rooms were cleaned daily. There are some nice restaurants in the local area and we preferred the local area to Aiya Napa. My only recommendation would be that the hotel management take steps to prevent further litters of kittens arriving at the hotel by arranging the neutering of the existing resident cats. As an animal lover it was lovely to see these little cuties and their mother and I fed them every day. They were very friendly and tame and looked in good condition but I do wonder who will feed them when tourist numbers reduce over the winter season. If you are not a cat lover, don't worry, there are only a few of them and they won't bother you unless you pay them attention. All in all this is a great hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to return due to the fantastic location, wonderful staff and great food.More

We went for 2 weeks from 27th Sep to 11th October for our wedding. What an amazing hotel... The rooms were immaculate and cleaned pretty much every day. Meals were lovely and lots of choice. It was all very fresh too. Pool area was great for all the family with activities through out the day. BeAch on the doorstep which was without doubt the nicest beach we have been to. The wedding was the most amazing day. Met with Marios and Caroline after arriving and they sorted everything we wanted. Tasos and all the team on the day were great made sure everyone knew what they needed to. It was fantastically organised but they also made it feel special like ours was the only wedding ever, even though they do hundreds. We got a complimentary champagne breakfast the next morning and a candle light meal for 2 as well on a night following. Honestly we could not fault the hotel at all. Any issues were resolved immediately. All the staff from reception to restaurant to bar staff to maids were lovely. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning Mr and Mrs Fawcett More
