If you’re after a classic beach holiday, the Nissi Beach is ideal. It’s set beside Nissi Bay, just a stroll from the sands. What’s more, it comes with beachfront suite bungalows, which are just metres from the shore. Like the other bedrooms here, they’re modern and comfortable.
The hotel is a friendly place with lots going on. Tennis, minigolf and spa treatments are on the agenda, as are live music performances and shows in the evenings. You can even make friends with the house pelican – it's very tame and roams freely in the gardens.
In terms of food, you’ve got three restaurants. Fresh fish tops the bill at the beach taverna, while the buffet restaurant features a flower-lined terrace overlooking the sea. There’s also a bar, which plays soft music in the evenings.
Lastly, there’s the pool. It’s surrounded by plants and palms, and has a real hideaway feel – so it’s perfect for quiet sunbathing.

Fantastic Hotel and Location
We stayed here for the 1st wedding of 2014 at this hotel. We had been in contact with Marios since May 2013 and the information he provided was most helpful in planning our day. We had 50 people come along to the wedding and most stayed in the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and impeccable service. The hotel was spotless and rooms cleaned everyday. The location is fantastic with superb views of the beautiful Nissi Bay from the hotel. Tasos was our master of ceremony for our wedding day and he ensured that the day went smoothly and nothing was too much for him. The wedding barbecue buffet was very tasty and i couldn't get enough of the BBQ ribs. It also meant that our guests could help themselves to whatever they fancied during the reception. Thanks again to Marios, Tasos and all the staff at Nissi Beach that made our wedding day and holiday something to remember. We will be back to celebrate our anniversary for years to come. Not as good it could be.
I stayed here 2 nights as part of a wedding party and had high hopes. Upon arrival, we were greeted by someone with cold towels and a cold glass of juice which was a nice touch. We then had to fill out a form as usual but once we had done this we were passed off to the main reception. This just felt like an additional, unnecessary step in the check in process. The room was nice but no better than any of the other places we had stayed in Cyprus and a lot more expensive. Having said that, we did get a bottle of wine and a fruit plate which was good. We had a bit of back and forth to try and convert the double room to a twin room but I think this was primarily a language barrier. However, it made the initial impression a bit disappointing. The resort as a whole is lovely, nice pool and direct access to a beautiful beach! Breakfast was great, varied and plentiful. Location was pretty good, close to a few restaurants and shops and about a 15 minute walk to the main strip. Upon checking out I had problems again as the card machine wasn’t working. I input my PIN at least 6 times and ended up waiting while the receptionist was on the phone being talked through a reboot. For a resort of this size and cost, I would have expected this to be more slick and have a better plan B than leave me waiting for 20 minutes. Overall, my experience of this report did not justify the cost or the pomp and ceremony. However, the wedding here was beautiful so if you are looking for a wedding location I would recommend it just advise your guests to lower their expectations for their stay!More

Great Hotel with very Friendly Staff
I found this a very exceptional resort well suited to families and single travellers. The staff here are very friendly and helpful, and although we were there off-season with not everything open as yet, there were more than enough things there to keep us busy. The food was very good, and the desserts will certainly tempt you with buffet choices from different parts of the world, not to mention the number of various exotic cocktails at the bar. There is a nice beach out the back of the hotel with white sand and crystal clear waters. Also from the beach there are good walks for sight-seeing down to Cape Greko. The entertainment varied from a piano player to a guitarist singing songs, and also a bit of karaoke. The entertainment and Marketing Manager "Frank" is also a very good contact to make as he will go out of his way to help you with anything. All in all, I couldn't fault this resort in any way, and will certainly come back here again in the future.More

Lovely area, rooms cheap
Had my wedding here last year, staff are amazing, but found rooms cheap looking def Not worth the money I paid a lot to stay in the suites, which were ages away from the pool, with two young ones far to walk to the pool, and no buggy or anything on wedding day, so had to walk about 5 mins to the hotel with two small children bridesmaids flowers etc, and it was boiling! Beach was lovely shallow for a long way out to sea, further up the beach was a bit more grubby, but nissi bit itself was lovely. Rooms I found very very basic, plenty of room but basic, garden rooms were horrible no view, my friend was quite upset as she expected a lot more for the price ( I felt terrible) but again she like the area and hotel just not the garden views, mum stayed in hotel, lovely views over no nissi no faults at all. Nissi area is perfect loads restaurants and kids play areas, Marios him self is so lovely and will do anything for you, Anna hairdresser is amazing, but wa not impressed with the make up artist and ended up upset and doing mine again as my base was to thick and stuck in pores and creases, ( but again my personal preference) Would def go back to nissi area again but would nt stay in nissi resort, only due to don't think it was worth all the money a paid, More

Mis-led by the advertising!
Just getting round to writing this review following a stay at the Nissi Beach Resort last July. I will start with the positives - the gardens are nice, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean, and the hotel is right next to the beach. Oh, and seeing the pelican padding round the beach is pretty cool. We paid extra to stay in one of the 'beach bungalows'. Ours was up a flight of stairs, and we were quite lucky that it was not one more further to the right, as if it had been, the only bit of the 'beach' you would have been able to see from the balcony would be a thin blue line appearing above the bungalows in front. The part of the beach nearest the the hotel is quite nice, however, when reading the literature on this review you might be led to believe that the bay is tranquil and mostly occupied by residents of the hotel. WRONG. The further along the beach (which is not that big) you go, the crazier it gets, as one of the few (really crappy, limited choice, grubby) bars on the beach that is not owned by the hotel has an all day party, every day, which attracts seemingly hundreds of youths and bangs out loud dance music all day. Now, I am a massive dance music fan, so when relaxing on my balcony in the late afternoon it did not bother me, but seeing as this hotel sells itself as the perfect place to get married - if I had just got married and was staying in one of the bungalows which seem to be designated for honeymooning couples, which are even nearer the bar than ours was, I would not be too impressed by the amount of noise coming from that place when trying to enjoy a romantic time! We only had breakfast, which was served in a really cramped space, and was ok. There are a few nice restaurants nearby, but you have to go quite far into Ayia Napa for a decent bar with even a little bit of atmosphere. There is a bus stop at the end of the hotel's drive, but the buses are sporadic. The many taxi drivers capitolise on this though by offering to take groups of people into town at bus-price. On to the other downer on your holiday - the hotel is pretty overrun with Russians. I have no compunction in saying, they do not appear to be enjoying themselves at all. I will leave it at that. The only recollection I have of the staff, is when I asked a receptionist how to find a restaurant (which I even had the address of) and was told 'I don't know'. I am sure the rest are lovely but we just didn't have any dealings with them. Sorry Nissi Beach but I was pretty disappointed. I have been to Cyprus absolutely loads of times and stayed in Paphos, Larnaca, and Protaras, but I don't think I would return here.More
