If you’re after a classic beach holiday, the Nissi Beach is ideal. It’s set beside Nissi Bay, just a stroll from the sands. What’s more, it comes with beachfront suite bungalows, which are just metres from the shore. Like the other bedrooms here, they’re modern and comfortable.
The hotel is a friendly place with lots going on. Tennis, minigolf and spa treatments are on the agenda, as are live music performances and shows in the evenings. You can even make friends with the house pelican – it's very tame and roams freely in the gardens.
In terms of food, you’ve got three restaurants. Fresh fish tops the bill at the beach taverna, while the buffet restaurant features a flower-lined terrace overlooking the sea. There’s also a bar, which plays soft music in the evenings.
Lastly, there’s the pool. It’s surrounded by plants and palms, and has a real hideaway feel – so it’s perfect for quiet sunbathing.

Just getting round to writing this review following a stay at the Nissi Beach Resort last July. I will start with the positives - the gardens are nice, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean, and the hotel is right next to the beach. Oh, and seeing the pelican padding round the beach is pretty cool. We paid extra to stay in one of the 'beach bungalows'. Ours was up a flight of stairs, and we were quite lucky that it was not one more further to the right, as if it had been, the only bit of the 'beach' you would have been able to see from the balcony would be a thin blue line appearing above the bungalows in front. The part of the beach nearest the the hotel is quite nice, however, when reading the literature on this review you might be led to believe that the bay is tranquil and mostly occupied by residents of the hotel. WRONG. The further along the beach (which is not that big) you go, the crazier it gets, as one of the few (really crappy, limited choice, grubby) bars on the beach that is not owned by the hotel has an all day party, every day, which attracts seemingly hundreds of youths and bangs out loud dance music all day. Now, I am a massive dance music fan, so when relaxing on my balcony in the late afternoon it did not bother me, but seeing as this hotel sells itself as the perfect place to get married - if I had just got married and was staying in one of the bungalows which seem to be designated for honeymooning couples, which are even nearer the bar than ours was, I would not be too impressed by the amount of noise coming from that place when trying to enjoy a romantic time! We only had breakfast, which was served in a really cramped space, and was ok. There are a few nice restaurants nearby, but you have to go quite far into Ayia Napa for a decent bar with even a little bit of atmosphere. There is a bus stop at the end of the hotel's drive, but the buses are sporadic. The many taxi drivers capitolise on this though by offering to take groups of people into town at bus-price. On to the other downer on your holiday - the hotel is pretty overrun with Russians. I have no compunction in saying, they do not appear to be enjoying themselves at all. I will leave it at that. The only recollection I have of the staff, is when I asked a receptionist how to find a restaurant (which I even had the address of) and was told 'I don't know'. I am sure the rest are lovely but we just didn't have any dealings with them. Sorry Nissi Beach but I was pretty disappointed. I have been to Cyprus absolutely loads of times and stayed in Paphos, Larnaca, and Protaras, but I don't think I would return here.More

go there before the high season!
Visited Nissi beach in February 2014 on a long sunny weekend. The weather was perfect and the crystal clear azure waters of Nissi beach were out of this world! The hotel maintains only four floors open during the winter season. I stayed in a sea view room. The room was super bright with a full sea view indeed, super clean and modern furniture. Despite the winter season, service was impeccable. We were greeted with a complimentary tray of chocolates, fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. Front desk staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel design is very modern with lots of uncluttered spaces and green areas outside. It has several restaurants and bars. The food was good (breakfast is ok). I imagine Nissi beach must turn into an overcrowded nightmare venue during the summer season so its worth visiting between March and June when you can admire the real beauty of the nature and benefit from the tranquility around you.More

Nice hotel with a great location
We stayed there 6 nights. The food was great and the service amazing but what makes Nissi beach resort a great place is its location. The beach is maybe one of the best in Europe (and why not of the world).More

Perfect beach holiday
Stayed here for 7 nights last June, must say I was blown away, the location on which in my opinion is Europes finest beach,we had a sea view room, which I would highly recommend, each night before we went out for a meal into ayia napa,we would sit on our balcony in admiration at the stunning view of nissi beach, the breakfast was exceptional, pretty much had everything, the staff were very friendly, and attentive, the gardens were immaculate and drew a lot of weddings I really loved this place,I would recommend this hotel for a couple after a dream getaway in a tranquil location,we were planning on returning this summer, but unfortunately for some reason all direct flights from rep of Ireland to Cyprus have been discontinued, which is a shame,as this is one of my favourite destinations I have visited, from a very well travelled young man,,More
