Fresh from a multi-million-pound refurb, this hotel is sporting a smart new look – and its location is spot on, too.
This place had a major makeover for summer 2013. Rooms flaunt up-to-the-minute interiors, and come with extras like free Wi-Fi and rain showers. And there’s a stylish rooftop bar made for sunset cocktails.
The hillside setting makes for great views. But, better than that, the main Strip and Grecian beach, the longest in Ayia Napa, are less than 10 minutes’ walk away. Plus, there are bars and restaurants even closer.
- stayed at this hotel with a group of friends
- superb rooms: exactly as photos
- nice pool area: wasn't too full as we had feared before going. Exact opposite - rather empty for time of the year.
- extremely nice staff! Treated us very well. We were a group of 12 and they always made sure to have a big table ready for us at breakfast and dinner
Food: we were on an all inclusive basis. Very very good overall. Even provided gluten free food for one member of the group. Not to forget the lovely cocktails we could have at almost all times!
Would highly recommend!
Central area as well!More

Everything perfect, except for one big fat DISAPPOINTMENT :(
Had nice family holiday at Tasia Maris.
I have already set eyes on this hotel last year, attracted by its decoration and recent opening.
I should say this was the case when pictures on the internet did not lie at all, in reality everything looked pretty much the same.
Unfortunately, there was one BUT on arrival. We were three adults, who booked a standard room with extra bed. In my opinion, if hotel sells such kind of room for three persons, it guarantees that a room is suitable for accommodation of exactly THREE adults! To my regret staff doesn't give a damn about the guests comfort when allocating the rooms. We were given the room where it was simply NO space for an extra bed. The folding bed blocked access to the wardrobe and made the way to the balcony like labyrinth. Even the maid said that extra bed has NEVER been installed into the room we were given.
Our family members who came with us (2 adults with 11-year old child) were given a normal room with enough space for accommodation of 3 persons, though having paid not the full price as staying with the child.
The administration refused to give us another, normal, room, when somebody checks out :(
I also know that in such cases hotels might at least present guests with a bottle of wine or smth like that to somehow make up for inconvenience, but..this wasn't the case
Apart from this act of disrespect, everything esle was perfect.
The hotel is located a little bit higher than most hotels in Ayia Napa, what provides guests with a really nice sea and city view. The walk to the beach is really quick (takes around 7 min). You can reach the center with all the entertainment and movement just within 5 minutes.
Tasia Maris oasis has realy nice decoration and of course amazing illumination at night! Rooms are nicely furnished as well, so nothing to pick on)
It was very pleasing to have meals on the terrace, I really miss this..
I should also note the variety of food was quite wide, and dishes were always delicious, each evening necessarily something new!. Portions at lunch were juuust enormous!!! (but tasty as well), so be aware :D
All the members of waiting staff were very friendly and welcoming (thank you!! :))
I couldn't understand why the roof bar was pretty much empty there.., but I really recommend visiting it to enjoy refreshing drinks, amazing view and light breeze :)More
Me and my friend (both 32) have not long returned from a week at the Tasia Maris Oasis.
The hotel was stunning. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Our room (2202) was nice and big, free air conditioning, lovely rainfall shower with separate shower head and balcony overlooking the pool. We had a TV but never watched it and there was lots of storage space. The hotel was pretty quiet, was worried it would be full of rowdy teens but fear not. We had no trouble sleeping.
The pool area was a decent size, never had issues getting a sun lounger either but I must say the lack of pool attendant or lifeguard meant that kids took over the place. They had no manners, their parents would just leave them, staff would let them run riot around the pool, throwing balls and jumping in on your head, splashing you and climbing over you. I think that is something that needs to be looked at. Even dividing the pool into adult end and child end.
The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious! So much choice! Every option available for a full English as well as a fresh pancake or waffle option every day. Cereals, fruits, porridge, yoghurts, pastries - you name it it's there!!!
The cocktails were lovely as were the staff making them. The staff were always very friendly and happy to help with any query we had. The rooftop bar doesn't seem to be very popular, well wasn't when we were there but it was nice to chill out up there and chat to Ionut the bar man. Ionut, hello from Birmingham :)
Other than the pool issue my only other complaint would be additional charges. We had to pay â¬20 to use the fridge for a week and there was no iron in the room, you had to go down to a little room and iron down there. No tea and coffee making facilities in your room either, you had to pay an additional charge for that too! Other than that the hotel was great. Perfect location. 2 mins from River Reggae club, 10 min walk to the main strip, many restaurants, bars and gift shops right on the doorstep and the actually incredible beach that is Nissi was 2 miles away or â¬8 in a taxi! The local beach was about a 5 min stroll from the hotel, beautiful but Nissi beach was better this any Caribbean beach I've ever been to!
I am the type of person who likes to try different hotels so if I returned to Ayia Napa I probably wouldn't return but purely for the reason that I like to sample a new environment.
Don't hesitate to book here! Location, food, staff, rooms, communal areas - PERFECT! :)More

looks good, but thats it!!!
This hotel is stunning to look at, but thats all.....
Its a no frills hotel, you have to pay for everything! Safe, Fridge, Tea & coffee, Kettle etc although you won't find this mentioned on any review sites! Towels are horrid, beds are hard, breakfast is basic and same every day, drinks are over priced. WIFI doesn't work either!
Management is joke! Rude and obnoxious! she sits behind reception looking down her nose at everyone, and she is never wrong, and everything is someone else fault.
If you want a hotel to take pictures of, then stay here. If you want a bit of luxury including half decent service DO NOT STAY HERE!More
