Hotel Nestor

The Nestor Hotel is really modern, and comes with a smart pool area. Plus, it puts you within 5 minutes of Ayia Napa’s beach and nightlife.

This hotel goes heavy on the style front. It’s all clean lines and contemporary furnishings, with futuristic LED lights wedged into roof recesses and underneath bars. The smart, unfussy motif carries on into the rooms.

Location is king for this place. A five-minute walk from the front door gets you to Ayia Napa’s famous nightlife, and the town’s white-sand beach is just as close.

Great hotel couldn't ask for more but some bad points

Well what a great place so glad I picked this hotel. Beautiful rooms cleaned everyday. Food great may not be for everyone if your s fussy eater but I'm good . Pool it amazing just right and ayia Napa is just a short 2 min walk so everything you need . Now the little points I didn't like . They have not long started all inclusive which I chose but it's not all exclusive more like full board because it's 3 set meals and you seam to pay rest of time so remember plus I looked out of the window at 7 am and the nice by the pool sun loungers were nearly gone towels down already reserved when it's supposed to be 9 o'clock. So off I went with my towel and so was others already in there way down for the hotel reception man olds pointing me out saying oh you can't go out to reserve beds till 9am errm excuse me but there all nearly gone I'm getting one 😡the cheek of it ha ha wrong person to pick on pal 😂😂 apart from that what a place I love it staff really nice except one ha ha great for families too no groups and right were you need to be just out of centre and just near it so perfect one of best hotels Iv been in bug 👍from me and I came with my 20 year old son More

Fab staff, lovley hotel.. very nearly perfect

Just returned from the Nestor after a lovely 7 day stay. First - the positives (there are plenty) Room - light, airy, spotless, free fridge, air-con, kettle in room, and if you pay for the upgraded sea view you get the top floor and very good free wifi up there. Pool - lovely sun trap. Decent amount of space between sun loungers. Luxury sunbeds if you want to pay a bit extra. Bar service - the team are awesome and really made our holiday. Fanos, Marios, Loukas, and George and the rest of the team were smiley, friendly, fun, very intelligent (we talked a lot about their views on Brexit) and we never queued for long for drinks. A good All inclusive cocktail list - and a good range of non alcoholic drinks too... (love the Slush machine :-) ) Food - 10/10 for food. Breakfast is excellent. Never bothered with lunch as was too full from breakfast. But had some lovely meals in the buffet. Often these things get too repetitive but thought they had a great variety every night. Love the banana ice cream for pudding too! Snacks at the bar are varied, yummy - and HUGE portions. Special touches - was my fiances birthday while we were out there. The put fruit and wine in the room and when requested produced a delicious birthday cake for his after dinner which was serve with a candle - and the obligatory singing. Helped make his birthday memorable. Location - perfect! Close enough to get about easily to the harbour, square of the shops and bars inbetween. 4 supermarkets within a 2 min walk of the hotel! Now the “could do betters”: Luxury loungers - this got ridiculous when we were there. One morning all the luxury beds were reserved by 5.30am by people putting towels on them when they came back from town and then going back to bed! After multiple complaints the manager did prevent anyone reserving these beds until 8am the next day.. but they day after normal service was resumed and they were all gone by 7.30am (just towels - no people) The hotel really needs to find a better, fairer way of doing this. All Inclusive - the timings of some things are the issue here. No AI alcoholic drinks before 11am. No drinks on AI at all after 11pm. Never had an AI finish this early before.. Also each person can only have 1 drink at a time. We had no problem getting the 4 drinks for our group - but when we tried to get a drink in advance to avoid having to go to the bar during the football this wasn't allowed. I understand - but it’s bit strict! Sun beds – the hotel could do with some more sunbeds. On several occasions we saw people with towels on the floor as there aren’t enough available for those late arrivers to the pool, And lets be honest – we are in Ayia Napa – most of the younger guests weren’t appearing until in the afternoon.. Entertainment - really not good. This wasn't a major issue for is as we watched the football and then went out into the town. (the AI was finishing at 11 anyway - so no financial loss to go to another bar in town) but when the football isn't on I can imagine the hotel could get more complaints over it. They are trying - but it’s not great... Guests – the final issue for me was the lack of respect some guests showed for each other which is not the hotels fault. Culturally the Brits are very different to Russians – and I found myself on several occasions having to speak up to people pushing in and ignoring an orderly line to get food, drinks or even at reception. T wouldn’t put me off – but you need to be aware that this is a popular hotel with more than the Brits. Though I have to say – some of the Brits at this resort could take a look at some of their behaviour (the 5 am towels were a large group of Brits…) All in all I would recommend this place highly and would go back. Ayia Napa is not just for the teens!More

Amazing Hotel.. Good Value for Money!!!

I’ve just come back from staying at hotel Nestor for 7 Nights. The hotel is lovely and much nicer than I originally expected. The photos that were on Thomson when I booked it did not capture how beautiful the Hotel is. The Hotel is in a perfect location, there is a supermarket next door to the hotel and a beach about 100 Metres from the hotel. There are loads of restaurants and bars just a short walk away (about 3-4 Minutes). The Location is perfect because its far enough away from the Ayia Napa strip so you don’t get all the noise and bother from all the people partying, but it is also very accessible to the strip for people who wish to spend their evenings there, there is no need to get a taxi to the strip as it is a 10 minute walk. The Hotel itself is very clean, the pool is lovely and there are always sun beds available. The indoor spa is also very nice, and if you’re a bit of a fitness fanatic like me you will be pleased to know there is a well-equipped gym. The staff are lovely, there is entertainment every night. I would say this hotel is more for Adults and Families, there are younger people but more mature which was nice as it filters out all the loud party lot (Even though I am only 25) The crowd was good because there was a mixture of ages. I went half board, the food is okay but I wouldn’t say it’s amazing; it’s what you expect in any European country, it’s a buffet every night so there is always something on the menu you will like. I would definitely go back to Hotel Nestor again it was well worth the money.More

Anusha B,

Too many teens.

Lovely hotel, great location, staff are wonderful. Downside is bar service in the only bar in the evening? Full of teenies and wannabe hippies on shots and god knows what else, the more mature may feel a little isolated here!!More
