Hotel Nestor

The Nestor Hotel is really modern, and comes with a smart pool area. Plus, it puts you within 5 minutes of Ayia Napa’s beach and nightlife.

This hotel goes heavy on the style front. It’s all clean lines and contemporary furnishings, with futuristic LED lights wedged into roof recesses and underneath bars. The smart, unfussy motif carries on into the rooms.

Location is king for this place. A five-minute walk from the front door gets you to Ayia Napa’s famous nightlife, and the town’s white-sand beach is just as close.

The reception is awful

Me and my friend were staying in the hotel for a weekend. In general the hotel is beautiful and stuff of the pool bar were very polite, but the reception.. I have a lot to say about them... When we arrived the stuff from the reception asked my passport. I didn't have, so they asked me in quite rude way: "so how did you come here???" First of all mistakes started from the kind of bed. We were booking one kind of bed and when we arrived we even asked if they know it. They said : yes, u gonna receive this kind of room and so on. When we came to the room... It was a mistake.. Also In the room was a smell of cigarettes.. We called to them once again to tell about this, and they answer: "we don't have no smoking rooms, this is a free country".... Second, what we very gonna remember, it's such a shame on the hotel... I left from the hotel to work much earlier, my friend had to leave to the airport. He packed his all things and so on and noticed that he can't find his passport. He was looking everywhere and in the end called to the reception to ask if they don't have his passport. They said they don't have... He had to check his all bags and so on, even if everything were already packed, and he couldn't find anywhere. He had to rush a lot, cause the plane was very soon. After such a long time looking , when he noticed that he doesn't have his passport, he went to reception and he said : " I don't know what to do. I can't find my passport anywhere." they asked his room number again.. And guess what?? The passport was in the reception! They didn't care about it at all! He had to drive a car very fast, just to catch the plane, cause of their fault he almost missed it! I was staying in many hotels in my life, but this is a first time happened for Me... the stuff didn't care about their customers at all.. More

Mileta N,

Nice Hotel, good location!

Very nice hotel, located ideally for the beach or main street. Mixture of nationalitites & age groups. Room included fridge & safe, both free to use, air con great and a must for the hot weather. We only ate in the hotel for breakfast which was good and plenty of choice. Would stay here again :)More

Great hotel staff really friendly and helpfull

Stayed in this hotel last week for a week stay great location 5 min walk from the strip yet far enough away so you can not hear the clubs , by the way are suburb and price of drinks is great .food great rooms spotless every day we had 3 adults in our room which is a bit cosy , we wheat out every night till about 3am got up about 9:30 10:00 am and still got six beds around the pool which was great not having to to the Brit thing and get up daft o'clock for a bed . Bar staff learn wot you drink and are over in a flash to fill your drink up you could order as many as you like More

Excellent hotel

This was the 4th time we have stayed at The Nestor and it just keeps getting better, I am not a fan of over bath showers so imagine my delight when we got to our room (118) and found a walk in shower this just completed the whole room which was lovely just a hint it would be great if there was a small shelf in the shower to put shampoo etc on instead of the floor. As ever great service from Elena in the restaurant she once again made my grand daughters holiday also Pepa who was great thanks to George in the bar and all of the front desk staff all so very helpful and polite. Our only low point was nothing to do with the hotel just ignorant German/Austrian/Swiss people at the pool playing their own music very loud I dont mind loud music but when you are trying to relax its not on "PUT YOUR HEADPHONES IN" also to show I am not biased the stupid English girl who was sat on her balcony at 5 am on her phone shouting to someone in another hotel who could see her ?? thats what phones are for talk quietly you idiot and in your room. Rant over we WILL be back as the hotel is like our home from home in Cyprus Thanks More

Utterly lovely

After a difficult journey from Larnaca Airport, stopping at some awful hotels to drop off holidaymakers along the way, what a relief it was to arrive at the Nestor Hotel! With its immaculate cleanliness, lovely furnishings and efficient, friendly and helpful staff, the holiday was made comfortable and enjoyable from the very first. The room- albeit small- was clean and well furnished, and thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis. The food in the hotel was extensive in choice, healthy, authentic and delicious. The service within the restaurant was second to none- all the staff were incredibly attentive and efficient, and were determined to make each holidaymaker's experience enjoyable. The poolside is extremely clean and has fantastic facilities; all cleaned daily. Tip: pay that bit extra for the luxury sunbeds (though you'll need to get up early for them) as it's worth it for the extra service and immediate access to the pool. Enjoy the evening entertainment, too- especially the Greek dancing! It's phenomenal! Two criticisms: the Wifi (we purchased three weekly passes, at €15 each) is completely unreliable and frankly not worth the money, as it's just too intermittent. Also, Ayia Napa itself is not necessarily a true representation of Cyprus, as it is incredibly commercialised. Overall, however, I would definitely recommend the Nestor; it's a true 4* quality hotel, and will not disappoint. Lovely: book your holiday- the internet pictures are entirely accurate!More
