Hotel Napa Plaza

This hotel gets rave reviews on TripAdvisor for 3 things – its location, its pool scene and its food.

The Napa Plaza gets loads of repeat visitors. It’s partly setting-related. Nightlife hub, Napa Square, is 2 minutes’ walk away. But, as reviewers point out, you’d never know it – the hotel’s got a really quiet vibe.

The pool is a real centrepiece, and there are 5 restaurants including a meze venue and a funky sushi bar. Add a couple of great bars to the mix and you’ll see why people come back for seconds.

Loved this hotel!!!

I visited this hotel with my partner who proposed whilst on holiday which made the holiday that little bit better! On arrival we were greeted by reception staff with a cold drink. We were shown to our room (108) superior pool view room with balcony. The room was very good, loads of space to put etc! You get a hairdryer in your room that is good so save your suitcase weight and put another pair of shoes in! We were amazed at how nice the food was for all inclusive, usually it's all buffet styles however this hotel offers you meals that you choose specifically at lunch time (12-3) We didn't manage to wake up in time for breakfast everyday but the two days we did go it was nice. You are allowed to visit one of their restaurants once a week..we went to the Greek restaurant, the Italian and the cafe central and again the food was amazing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a 2 minutes walk away from the main strip however you would never know it. The hotel has a very relaxed environment and you can't help but relax all day everyday! The only bad thing I have to say is that when you fly home late and you don't pay for late check out you have to use the toilets that are underground with no air conditioning. I would strongly advise you pay the extra euros for late check out to make sure you can get ready to go home in a cool place. We looked into staying another week because the hotel was that good however Thompson don't do extended holidays. We are already planning to return in August 2015!! All round great holiday with great staff!! Get booking :)More

Really enjoyable stay

We stayed here for 2 weeks and we found into be an enjoyable experience. We had bed and breakfast and felt that we got good value for money. Breakfast caters for all tastes and diets from porridge to hams and cheeses to croissants, breads, fruit, salad and full cooked breakfasts. The rooms are generally well looked after although the house keeping management should pay attention to the mouldy / dirty grout lines in the bathrooms. They're not terrible but they're not hotel standard. Our room had air conditioning, a fridge and a television. We felt this was a good level for a hotel room. The poolside staff and hospitality are brilliant. Complimentary smoothies at midday, face towels at 2pm and water melon at 2.30. You also get free poolside towels which you can change every day, so don't take towels with you and save on your luggage allowance. The reception staff are amazing. They are friendly, helpful and welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. We recommend the Napa Plaza and if you are a couple trying to escape other people's children, this is the place for you.More

Beautiful hotel with bad service, and really rude staff.

First the AC didnt work when we checked in, and the shower was really weak. Our friends had the same problem, luckily they fixed it for us but not our friends. We spent alot of money in the yacht bar and they had good drinks, but the service was very slow and unthankful. Once i got something blue on my bread that looked like mould, and when i told the chef, he said im sorry, gave me a new one but when i was going to pay he gave me the drink for free (not the food!?). The only ones i found very good hearted and helpful was Manolis, Vera (sometimes) and 2 elder receptionists. The cleaners was the hotels best thing, they were so kind and did a good job. The last day when we checked out our plane didnt leave before 03.30 so we sat on the beds in the yacht bar and ordered in drinks, food and shisha. After being there for a couple of hours the staff tells us to leave because we have been there for too long, and when we said where to? our rooms arent ours anymore because we checked out, isnt it my right to sit on your bed as a payed hotel customer for 10 days and ive also ordered in alot of food, the staff got silent and sent another receptionist to tell us our former room number. that experience lost all our respect for the hotel, witch is very beautiful, has a great location and is very clean, the only problem is the service.More

Good location for parties and luxury

I've stayed in Napa Plaza in September, it was my second time in it. I've choosen it for the location. It's really close to the strip but far enough if you want to relax a lil bit. All bars are allowed to play music till 2 am so anyway you will hear some music from bars. The hotel has it's own bars and restaurants which are very convenient either if you stay there or just pass it. Love Tavern Meze so much. Also the hotel is close to Ayia Napa Monastery and Jewish Church. First time when i've stayed there i had renovated room and i wanted it also it in September but i've found out that not all of them were refurnished. Maybe this year it's better. Also you need to know that no all of rooms have balconies which isn't convenient for somebody. Anyway it's very good cleaning and comfty beds. I had breakfast and it was delisios. There are free Wi-Fi in common area and if you are lucky it can work in rooms. Good value for money only if you will spend a lot of time inside or if it's specail offer. Would deffinetily come back here again.More
