This sanctuary-like hotel has plenty of designer style – and its location is second to none.
Completely rebuilt in 2007, the Napa Mermaid is the epitome of fresh, modern design. Its pool area is ultra-stylish, with cream loungers and sofas on the sundeck. And there’s a chic cocktail bar for the evenings.
It’s in a quiet part of town, just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Ayia Napa. Across the road is Grecian Beach, so sea views are par for the course.

Great location for youngish couples
Went here with my boyfriend. We're both 23 and was looking for somewhere in Cyprus for a relaxing holiday but also somewhere in walking distance to nightlife. This hotel is the perfect location for that as it is in aiya Napa but around a 10 minute walk from the strip and also opposite a lovely beach. The hotel was very modern and the rooms were spacious and clean. we only had breakfast in the hotel which was really nice with everything that you could want. We had a meal in the hotel on our last day and we wished we had eaten in there every night! Food was really nice and not to expensive. Definatley recommend getting quad bikes and driving around the island!More
Great experience !!!
Aya Napa is full of hotels, but I don't hesitate to say Napa Mermaid its sure one of the best . Stayed there for a week and every thing was perfect. Roomy room with balcony, very clean, excellent A/C system . Great breakfast till 10:30, varied options very well served. Be sure you can dedicate one day just to enjoy the hotel, the awesome pool area and SPA! Relax get a tan order a meal and drinks at pool side... special thanks to Antonis who take care of every thing so gentleman and attentive with everybody and so his staff . This was the best part for me. Sure will be back !! Ahhh, and the beach just in front is good, theres a path to walk aside the coast just enjoying the beautifull view or doing a cooper. The city downtown its in a short walk... lots os clubs and restaurants ! Enjoy.More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here from 3rd to 10th of June and I have to say we were very impressed, not usually one to leave reviews but chose this hotel after reading all the positive reviews and I am so glad I did as we had an amazing holiday! Room - We stayed in an executive bungalow and would definitely recommend if wanting to treat yourselves, rooms cleaned every day to a high standard (twice if you require turn down which we prefer not to have) towels changed daily, new toiletries provided if needed, complimentary water provided every day with tea/coffee's replenished. Have to comment on the bed also, has to be one of the comfiest bed I have every stayed in abroad, I can confirm you actually get a double bed!! (none of this single double beds pushed together business as you often get abroad) an extremely comfy luxurious bed, definitely what you need after a long day/night. Only thing I would say is the terraces are literally right next to the pool, if your one for liking your privacy these rooms might not be for you. Tip - the mini fridge is also big enough to store a few sneaky drinks/bottles in there if you enjoy your own drinks in your room/on the terrace. Food- Usually we like to eat out at different places for breakfast but after trying the hotel breakfast we decided to eat there most mornings as was impressed with the amount of choice available! Can't comment on the restaurant in terms of lunch/evening meals as we did not try it but it definitely seemed popular not surprising with the stunning view! Pool - pleasantly surprised there always seemed to be spare beds (also very comfy) around the pool probably due to being across the road from the beach! only spent a few hours around the pool but the staff were always attentive, sometimes bringing free frozen fruit and slush drinks. Pool area itself was stunning with a sea view, perfect place to relax for a few hours. Location - location is a big one for me and I always try to research this well before going away anywhere. I personally found the location of this hotel perfect, less than 5 minutes to the beach, about 15 - 20 minute walk into the center with shops/restaurants along the way. Close enough to walk to the nightlife or get a 5 minute taxi ride but far enough away to be able to chill out and relax at the end of the night. Overall I would say this hotel is perfect for couples, we would definitely look to return and would definitely recommend!! Would just like to say thank you both to the hotel staff (everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful) as you all obviously work so hard at maintaining such a beautiful clean hotel, and also to fellow TripAdvisor's for recommending this.More

Just back home
Just arrived home after two weeks bed and breakfast at this hotel-Pros-reception staff extremely helpful/probably the most efficient cleaning staff I have ever seen/breakfast ok/good sea view. Cons-rooms are very small; bathroom tiny -could hardly move / balcony also very small. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing to the eye with lots of modern seating-ok until you try and actually sit in it, only to find out that most of the chairs and sofa style seating is very uncomfortable. The bar is again stunning to look at until you sit on the stools, only to find that they are too low and you have to reach across to try and reach the drinks from the really nice barman. The pool area is very strange-there are a mix of wooden sun beds together with white pvc beds with a triangular shaped cushion which struggles to stay in one position because it is held in place with a strip of Velcro. We were both very disappointed with our stay and certainly would not return. Unfortunately,I have been to Ayia Napa many times since 1994, and have always enjoyed it, but on this occasion we could have been visiting Moscow. In this hotel it was roughly 80/20 Russian. It was the same all over the resort-I have never encountered such rude and ignorant people and for this reason alone, we will never return again, which is a great shameMore
