This sanctuary-like hotel has plenty of designer style – and its location is second to none.
Completely rebuilt in 2007, the Napa Mermaid is the epitome of fresh, modern design. Its pool area is ultra-stylish, with cream loungers and sofas on the sundeck. And there’s a chic cocktail bar for the evenings.
It’s in a quiet part of town, just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Ayia Napa. Across the road is Grecian Beach, so sea views are par for the course.

My husband & I had a 3 day mini break at the hotel. It has been refurbished fairly recently, so very clean & modern. Our room was a side sea view, very clean with comfortable beds & 2 squidgy pillows each - great. The bed linen & towels were of a good quality. A kettle for making tea or coffee, tea & coffee sachets & 2 cups were provided free of charge. Also 2 wine glasses. There was a mini fridge & also a hair dryer. Bathroom toiletries were also supplied, as were free slippers. There was a large glass partition looking into the bath room!!! but there was a roller blind fitted for privacy. The buffet breakfast & evening meal were more than adequate, with a good selection of hot & cold food. The restaurant was very smart & modern with a nice outside area for summer dinning. A large outside pool with sunbathing area again for the summer. The small but heated indoor pool was nice. Although the hotel is not on the beach, it is only a very short stroll to a lovely sandy beach. Hotel supplies beach/pool towels But, be aware that if you have difficulty walking or use a wheelchair it is quite a steep stroll back to the hotel. All the staff were friendly & efficient. It is only a few minutes drive into Ayia Napa. It is also a walk-able distance. There is also a bus stop a few metres away.More

Johanna Kathari... v,
We stayed at the Napa Mermaid for 9 days and it was amazing! The hotel staff could not do enough to help. All of the Facilties were clean and well placed with the beach a 5 minute walk from our room. The breakfast was extremely clean and the various options tailored for all needs.More
Got fresh pool towel each day.
Good breakfast with an ample selection of food for all. Didn't go all inclusive as there are so many places to eat in the centre of Napa. Its not on the beach but its a short walk away and if you get a buggy or quad it doesn't take long to the other local beeches. I went with a friend but I do think this hotel is more for couples. Good if you want to not be in the centre of the clubbing but to get easy access to it. Staff were friendly but not in your face either. It was clean modern and we got upgrade to the suite for free. Only negative was their computer didn't work but the WiFi was pretty decent.More
Maybe it was an off day.....
I booked this because I was impressed with the reviews on Trip Advisor. Ordinarily, this would have been a much better review, but the room let the hotel down badly. If I can't sleep, then I can't give it a good review.
The hotel itself is easy to find, nicely presented and plenty of car parking. I should also point out that we visited out of season, where most things were closed.
The spa is lovely. Good gym, sauna, steam room, indoor swimming pool which was heated and nice changing rooms.
The bar is nicely set out and the bar staff were very nice. They did do cocktails, which to my surprise were very good and not too expensive. Lovely outdoor area with pool and plenty of seating and a large restaurant. We only had breakfast in the morning there, which was reasonable. There was a large selection of everything.
To the room. We booked a superior room on bookings.com as it was the best deal. I am not sure the difference in a standard room, but this wasn't superior. The bathroom is strange. It is entirely made out of glass (frosted), so that when you had a shower, the person laying in the bed next to it can see the outline of you having shower or going to the toilet... Very strange and a little difficult to describe.
The room was really hot. The air conditioning didn't work, it was too noisy (out of season) to have the patio doors open. You are right next to the main road and the pillows and bed were really uncomfortable. They were two singles pushed together and the pillows were those cheap ones where the foam bunches up after a while. I didn't sleep hardly at all, which spoilt the stay for me.
In saying that, my wife had some treatments in the spa and loved it. Apart from the room, the hotel is nice.
I just wouldn't stay there again. There are other choices in Ayia Napa.More
