This sanctuary-like hotel has plenty of designer style – and its location is second to none.
Completely rebuilt in 2007, the Napa Mermaid is the epitome of fresh, modern design. Its pool area is ultra-stylish, with cream loungers and sofas on the sundeck. And there’s a chic cocktail bar for the evenings.
It’s in a quiet part of town, just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Ayia Napa. Across the road is Grecian Beach, so sea views are par for the course.

Spent 2nights as treat for our anniversary while over for week in Kapparis (short drive past Cape Greko, Konnas bay, sea caves on the way) Stayed in executive, well furnished & extremely comfortable bungalow, spacious with great pool & sea view, ideal for those with mobility issues. pleasantly furnished - someone previously mentioned concern with open plan shower/wc but this is easily solved by roller blind for privacy within the room.Hotel facilities fantastic, indoor/outdoor pools, great spa, lovely comfy areas to lounge around or enjoy coffee, smoothies, drinks & entertainment. Food great buffet breakfast(croissants superb) & dinner good selection. Great choice of snacks too, we had very tasty reasonably priced lunch & drinks/cocktails don't cost much. Quiet but ideally located short walk downhill to beach or little further into harbour.
Staff were very well presented, always happy to give a courteous smile or a little chat. FantasticMore
Perfect Hotel for a one week stay
Very nice renovated Hotel with friendly staff nice rooms and, in April a lot of place and sun beds to choose:-). Lot of choices for breakfast a the buffet. Good located, 5 Minutes to the public beach and about 165 minutes to Ayia Napa harbourMore
Good hotel, good food
We spend a week at this hotel for a short break. The hotel was not full during the week since it was off season. Service was very good nevertheless. Interestingly, the hotel filled up quite rapidly on Friday night for the weekend- the restaurant was prepared for that and filled up the dinner buffet accordingly and the staff worked efficiently to be of service. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel - both were good, although we would have liked more local dishes - we got our fill of that outside of the hotel and outside of Ayia Napa. Like with most buffet-style dinner options, meats were difficult, since the dishes were kept warm in on hotplates beef and pork was overcooked most of the time.
We had a room on the first floor with partial sea view and facing the hotel pool. The sea view of the hotel is nothing to write home about since the hotel is not located directly at the beach but separated by a road and an additional hotel and parking lot.
The room has a modern feeling and the bathroom could have used an upgrade.More
This hotel was just absolutely gorgeous place to resort back to at the end of the day. From the entrance to the staff I can not complain, but I am an easy going person. The room itself was just absolutely beautiful, view of the beach and such modern decor. It wasn't a very close walk to their downtown area. But I will not complain cause I like to be at peace when sleeping. The hotel is a close walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to visit Cyprus.More
The Perfect Wedding Anniversary weekend
What a friendly hotel. It began with a warm welcome by friendly helpful staff. We were upgraded because of our celebration and a sparkling wine and fruit greeted us in our spacious sea view comfortable room. Everywhere in the hotel we were treated to smiles, greetings and offers of help by the staff. Breakfast was comprehensive, tasty and buffet style. Dinner was buffet too with choices for vegetarians and to suit children too. Drinks prices in the restaurant and bar were not over the top, tempting you to remain in the hotel where there was evening entertainment. Would I return? Certainly.More
