Hotel Napa Mermaid

This sanctuary-like hotel has plenty of designer style – and its location is second to none.

Completely rebuilt in 2007, the Napa Mermaid is the epitome of fresh, modern design. Its pool area is ultra-stylish, with cream loungers and sofas on the sundeck. And there’s a chic cocktail bar for the evenings.

It’s in a quiet part of town, just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Ayia Napa. Across the road is Grecian Beach, so sea views are par for the course.

Lovely hotel but has its pros and cons

We stayed here for 10 nights. The hotel is lovely it is kept clean and looks lovely around pool area, breakfast, lobby and bar. The rooms were ok they were enough and fine for us but they were rather small especially the balcony as we come with couples we wanted a night on there with card games before we went out but was tight squeeze and we had keep door open so no aircon. The shower are rather out dated compare what u see outside and the entrance of the hotel. Breakfast was amazing had nothing to complain about that was clean at all times and lovely food. I was shocked at price of drink, lollies and snacks that were around pool area. Alot cheaper outside the hotel as there are plenty shops down the road. I was shocked how strict the hotel was. For example we had our towels taken off the beds several times while we went out for lunch leaving us without towels and go get them from reception and one time they were just chucked on floor. But we was told if u go longer than 2 hours we remove the towels which never known this in a hotel before. As it isnt a really busy hotel so i dont see problem. We also had a letter through the door for hanging our towels over the side of balcony to dry saying it wasn't keeping up in the appreance of the hotel. My partner was told off for jumping in pool the one time. I wouldn't say this horrible hotel to go to I enjoyed it and would recommend but for the more older adult as it was way to relaxing around pool there was no music in background to make some atmosphere in the hotel. But it is a lovely hotel and all staff are kind and helpful. We Evan had a handshake of the maid on our last day which was very nice. Also the spa pool is lovely and cold which nice to go in after sunbathing in hot temperatures. More

Kathybambeno,

Good and Clean Hotel

We had a very nice "Executive bungalow" at the pool area. The Fitness and Spa area is not the most modern but for holidays absolutely enough. The bungalow is clean and you have really enough space. Only in the bathroom we had problems with the window and the flush worked not so well. We enjoyed our week here and would book the hotel again. More

Great Hotel!

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this hotel and have to say we were very impressed! The moment we arrived at reception we were made to feel very welcome, check in was quick and efficient! We were staying in a junior suite which was extremely comfortable with 2 tv's and a mini bar with a great sea view! We also had a bottle of bubbly and some fresh fruit courtesy of the hotel as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary which was a lovely gesture! Breakfast was buffet with plenty of choice. The pool area was great with very comfortable sunbeds! The whole hotel had a lovely friendly atmosphere and we will certainly be returning. You could not fault this hotel we would highly recommend!!More

Roseline S,

Clean, great location, and service is excellent

We were welcomed by a room upgrade to a junior suite which is really nice and spacious, it has both sea view and pool view which made morning coffee an extra pleasure. They offer wide variety of food in the restaurant and the pool, I loved everything I ordered. The service at the pool is also great, make sure you meet Mr Antonios there, he is awesome. If you care about good night sleep then this location is great, you barley hear any annoying music sounds at night, yet its a walking distance from where all the fun is, plus taxis are always available outside if you prefer. Loved it. More

Alaa B,

Fantastic Hotel

Having just got married in Paphos we decided that we would have a few days to ourselves before travelling home. We decided on the Napa due to the reviews and pictures and it did not disappoint. The helpful reception staff made our checkin nice and easy, our room was lovely and modern and just what we wanted. So much choice at breakfast I had to have numerous visits which often meant dinner was not needed. The pool is a great place to chill out and the cold towels and slushes that come round in the afternoon were very welcome in the hot Cypriot sun!!More
