Hotel Grecian Sands

The Grecian Sands Hotel is well-positioned in a quiet beachfront spot, just 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of lively Ayia Napa.

Grecian Sands is perched on a hill and has panoramic sea views, which it flaunts at every opportunity.

The pool area overflows onto a sandy beach and is surrounded by attractive landscaped gardens.

Only a 10-minute walk from the centre of Ayia Napa, Grecian Sands is an ideal base for exploring the narrow streets of the old town, the harbourside tavernas and tranquil Medieval monastery, as well as the bars and clubs.

Good Location.

Nice Hotel in the quieter section of Aiya Napa.We had a great room right at the end on the 2nd Floor.Great Sunset Views from our balcony.Room was very spacious & the Bathroom had 2 showers.Charging 2€ a day for the Fridge is a bit rude. Also Hotel doesn't have a guest Laundry but I did find a Laundrymat across the road & up the hill ( not that the staff mentioned this).Staff were fairly ordinary.More

Great hotel

Came to Grecian Sands for a week for a family wedding & was dreading it due to the Aiya Napa reputation for partying. How ever I would certainly visit again & stay in Grecian Sands. We stayed in a part pool, part sea view room. - nice clean room - large wardrobe with hangers - friendly staff - great selection for breakfast - nice cocktails in the Ulysses Bar at night - free pool towel everyday - nice grass area to relax away from the pool - on the beach - only 15-20 minute walk from the main part of Aiya Napa but further enough away to be quite at night - Grecian sands made the wedding very special & well planned, the photos are beautiful with the views behind - I would recommend renting buggys to get around the island, cheaper than cars & there great fun!More

A very nice hotel to stay!

We stayed there for one week and we really enjoyed ourself. The hotel is really nice, the staff was very friendly and perfect position of the hotel! Straight on the beach! We will definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back for sure next summer!More

Spike Z,

Booked via Expedia. Hotel is extremely dated (1970's). The room was dirty (floor, bath terrace). The sofa in the room had cigarette burns in it, the chair in the room was falling apart with dangerous nails sticking out, the coffee table in the room had a broken leg. Food was very average and there were not enough staff at breakfast so often left to wait ages! The Manager said there was noting he could do. At 200 Euros a night it was very disappointing!!More

Great family wedding

Stayed here for a family wedding. Great position just above the beach. The pool bar is a lovely place to sip a G&T and watch the beautiful sunset. Staff friendly and keen to help. The great thing is that the hotel is well away from the very busy centre of Ayia Napa . Turn east on leaving the hotel and you join a long costal path which takes you through lovely undeveloped nature reserve, Can't comment on the food as we were B&B but we joined the Cyprus night BBQ which was very good. Plenty of reasonably good restaurants near by.More
