The Grecian Sands Hotel is well-positioned in a quiet beachfront spot, just 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of lively Ayia Napa.
Grecian Sands is perched on a hill and has panoramic sea views, which it flaunts at every opportunity.
The pool area overflows onto a sandy beach and is surrounded by attractive landscaped gardens.
Only a 10-minute walk from the centre of Ayia Napa, Grecian Sands is an ideal base for exploring the narrow streets of the old town, the harbourside tavernas and tranquil Medieval monastery, as well as the bars and clubs.
ymooners receive free fruit and sparkling wine on arrival and honeymoon guests booking full or half board receive a free candlelit dinner for 2 (drinks not included). Wedding packages available - please see the A-Z Guide for details.
Relax and take in the panoramic views of the sea at this ground floor restaurant. You can choose from the table d'hôte or à la carte menus or from the extensive buffets. Plus, there's a weekly international buffet with a dance show to mix things up. Just to let you know there's a dresscode during evening meals it's smart casual and long trousers for men.
Grecian Sands caters for everything you will need for a relaxing holiday. If like us you want somewhere to stay bed and breakfast, have loads of sun beds available, have a great pool ( which is cleaned daily ) and have the beach on your door step then I strongly recommend this hotel. It's far enough away from the noise of the centre but not too far if you want to walk. It takes us approx 25 min walk to the harbour but you will pass lots of restaurants on the way. The rooms are of good standard with a balcony and a bathroom with complimentary slippers. It has tea making facilities, TV with children's cartoon channel and a safe that is not chargeable. The sunbeds are comfy with a bell on the umbrella you press for service if you want drinks or food brought to you. The breakfast caters for everyone's taste, ranging from cereals - full English - and continental cuisine. Can't wait to return next yearMore

I have just returned from a two week stay at this hotel and this would be my 3rd stay in 6 years here.
We always stay in this hotel when staying in Cyprus as the staff are extremely helpful and always happy to chat. Not much has changed since our last stay except now you can sit around the pool and press a button on the parasol for the waiter to come and take your order for any drinks or food you may require. This is a nice touch but beware that on some occasions this took up to 45 mins for someone to either come to our sun beds or to bring the drinks. I think this is due to only having two staff manning the orders so at peak times of the day they are extremely pushed to get round everyone.
Every other aspect of this hotel is really good, breakfast is a buffet style set up and you just help yourself to whatever takes your fancy. There is a chef cooking fresh eggs and omelettes for you too.
We stayed half board so had dinner included and this was a sit down four course meal. In this restaurant men do have to wear trousers or jeans and must not have sleeveless shirts but women are a little more relaxed and can wear what they want. The food was extremely tasty and presented in a very nice way. The hotel also puts on an international night and buffet night where you sit down by the pool and have entertainment whilst helping yourself to a buffet style set up for the food. On the buffet night you are invited to the main bar where you get the chance to meet some of the staff and are giving a free cocktail before heading down to the BBQ which is always a lovely evening and a great chance to chat to staff.
The hotel is located about a 10 min walk outside the main "strip" of Ayia Napa and all the hustle and bustle so you will never get disturbed by the nightclubs.
Overall this hotel is a lovely place to stay and all areas are kept so clean. The rooms are looking a little dated now so maybe an update on them will bring this hotel right up to date. Not a massive issue as I didn't spend too much time in here.
I will be returning again next year as I will be having my wedding at this hotel in August 2016. ð
We will return!
Grecian sands is ideally located just off the centre of Ayia napa, on one of the best beaches of the area. Its people are great! They were always kind, ensuring that everything was perfect. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that our room was upgraded to suite 501. We were impressed by the bathroom which was fully renovated and spotless with a jacuzzi bath and extra shower. Our bed was huge, and the view was fantastic. The only drawback was the bedroom wooden floor which was too old and had a weird smell because of that. Other than that, everything else was just perfect. Breakfast was plentiful and the drinks from the pool bar and restaurant food really good. Overall, we had an enjoyable and relaxing holiday! Thank you all, we will definitely return!More

Very nice hotel
My friend and I was there from 8/08 till 17/08. When we arrived we get in leaned room but at the morning, assistant of the FO manager apologized for the inconvenience and changed us with complimentary upgrade, fruits and a letter with apologies. It was very nice so we forget about previous night. The hotel is clean and beautiful. There is quite so it will be comfortable to stay there with children. The swimming pool is big, breakfast is tasty, especially pancakes. My favorite place at the hotel was wonderful sofa outside near the restaurant. There is an unreal view to the see. We sat there for hours and relax. The staff is polite and friendly. The hotel is situated in 2 min by foot close to the sea and about 5-7 minutes to the nearest restaurant. I recommend this hotel for leisure trip.More
