The room is reasonably small, to small considering the price paid. Plus i deem it 70 euros a ridiculous amount of money to spend on one weeks worth of air conditioning.. Considering ayia napa is renowned for being a party town, and attracts a lot of teenage groups, the staff were remarkably intolerant, and the manager even threatened to call the police because we were causing 'disruptions'. Will not be staying here again but i guess if you keep to yourself and only want to enjoy the weather its adequate.More
Good service, spacios rooms
For the price we paid, this hotel is really good. The rooms are spacios and really clean, they change the sheets everyt 2 days, towels every day. Balcony is really big. It's not that close to the beaches but when in Ayia Napa it's highly recommended to have a car.More
Perfect in every way
Booked this accommodation within a few weeks of travelling so not our first choice. But what a pleasant surprise. We are a family of five so had to have two rooms. On arrival there was a problem with one room so we had to share the one bed apt for one night. As we entered the room there were 3 beds made up in the living area and a two singles in the bedroom. Perfect! It's all we wanted. Never wanted two rooms so we spoke to reception and told them we were happy to keep just this room in exchange for air con for our 7 nights. The apt was well equipped and extremely clean. With maid service and clean towels daily. Reviews read of groups of lads/girls but we had no problems. So quiet round the pool some days that we were the only ones in the pool. Pool was smallish but my 3 never complained once. Food at the pool bar was reasonably priced and delicious. Staff were also very friendly. The Petrosana is literally minutes away from the bottom of the nightlife strip. But far enough away not to be disturbed. Within walking distance of the square and lots of amazing bars and restaurants. There's a supermarket directly across the road. Lovely friendly helpful staff here too. Have been coming to Cyprus and Ayia Napa for over 20 years. Love Love Love Cyprus. Love this Hotel and will definitely return. More
We were there in august for a week and we stayed at petrosana hotel apts. It was nice but 1 thing i didn't liked: in august when temperatures are a little bit high they want a 32 euros for the conditioner air wich is a little bit expensive!More
Relaxed and rejuvenated
My first trip to Cyprus with my husband and first time to Ayia Napa. I researched a lot and came across Petrosana Apts. We wanted something close to the bar strip. This is a great location, 5 mins from the main square, shopping street, 10 mins from the beaches, and right across the bar street. It is very peaceful and quiet at night as the location is a bit interior, so you will feel everything is shut. But you need to walk out to the main bar street to catch all the action :)
The room has everything in it, very spacious with 2 single beds (better if it was twin bed), TV, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom shower with hot water, big balcony with chairs and a table, clean towels, shampoo etc. Ask for a pool facing room, it has a better view. The hotel has 3 floors with no lift, but walking up and down is no big deal. Also there is ample parking space in the hotel in case you rent a car or buggy. There is a buggy rental just across the hotel
Also across the hotel is a supermarket you can get your daily necessities and alcohol as well. Try the Commandaria wine, the best port wine I've had so far.
yes the hotel charges extra 7 euro per day for the AC but thats ok, most hotels in Ayia Napa charge extra for the AC. The hotel has a small pool and bar serving drinks and food. For breakfast there is a limited menu, we went further to the next hotel Senator Apts for a full buffet breakfast for 7.5 euro.
In all we enjoyed our short stay at Petrosana and will definitely recommend those looking for a quite, relaxing holiday.More
