Petrosana Hotel Apartments

The Petrosana Hotel Apartments offer up stylish rooms and put Ayia Napa’s nightlife on the doorstep.

This place has nabbed a prime spot, just a five-minute walk from Ayia Napa’s strip. You can reach the Blue Flag-awarded Nissi Beach in 15 minutes, or save the leg-work and cab it in about five.

The complex is made up of sugar cube buildings with à la mode interiors. Bedrooms, for example, are done out in shades of chocolate-brown. And, in the lobby, you can relax on a stylish, curvy sofa.

Petrosana Review

I stayed here in July 2014 with four other friends. After reading mixed reviews on this site we were slightly hesitant to what was in store, fearing we would end up on a 9pm channel 4 documentary about Brits aboard and naff hotels. However the two apartments where we stayed and the complex was a lot better than what we had expected. Other reviews which I had read questioned the apartments cleanliness, but the rooms were very clean. In addition to this we had regular visits from the cleaners. The location is great for tourists seeking to experience Ayia Napa's nightlife. The bars at the bottom of the strip are about a minute walk away from the apartments. Despite this we never experienced any issues with noise as the bars closed at a reasonable time and the late night clubs were further along the strip, a reasonable distance away from the complex. The apartments' pool was very popular but it was never an issue finding a sun lounger. The staff were very friendly. The manager went by the name of 'Laz' and was very welcoming and friendly. It is often stated that the English Language is one of the hardest languages to learn so now blame can be attached to the staff's attempts to communicate with the visitors. If I ever visited Ayia Napa again I would definitely look to stay here. Another good point was that there was a supermarket across the road. Granted it was no Tesco or Asda, but it sold the essentials even if they may not have been familiar brands. Rola Cola, Tollernone etc. This Dolce & Banana supermarket was run by a friendly Cypriot family who often knocked the prices off some of our visits due to our frequent visits throughout the holiday. This may have been no Nectar card system but it proved to be very useful as the week went on. A possible negative to the apartments was the neighbouring 'hotel'. This was a Channel 4 documentary location. Throughout the holidays I was puzzled by the run down appearance of this place seeing as their was a Range Rover and BMW parked outside every day. But as Seth Rogen in said Neighbors: “You can choose your friends but not your neighbours.” If you have any common sense you will quickly realise air con is a must, especially for the sleeping areas in the apartments. This can be easily bought from the front reception. It was relatively cheap due to the fact we went as a group of 5 and could all chip-in.More

Ideal for girls holidays

I stayed here in June 2014 with three other girls. The hotel was better than he had expected. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and perfect location. The holiday was fantastic! The pool area is perfect for daytime sunbathing and chilling out. There is a little shop literally 10 seconds away (opposite the hotel), and we got most of our food and drink from there. Hotel food is okay, and cocktails are quite nice. We also met lots of other people around our age (18-21) at the hotel, and we spent time with them too. The balcony's are good for sitting on in the evenings before going to the strip, which is literally a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Really recommend Petrosana, and if I were to go back to Ayia Napa, I would 100% stay here again.More

Best apartments!

Been on several girls holidays and this was one of my faves, lovely accomodation, relaxed atmosphere around the pool which is what we want after a night out, good location, in walking distance to the strip but far enough away to get sleep and no noise to bother you! Would definately come back to these apartments, visited when we were 23/24 year old girls and suited us perfectly, not full of 18 year olds had a mixture of ages!More

Beautiful hotel and excellent staff

We stayed here for 4 days at the end of the holiday season. The apartment and hotel itself is very beautiful with a nice pool and the whole setting gives you a more charming feel than staying in a big hotel. Most of all the staff was excellent and took care of us like family- they personally took care of all our needs and also ensured that we had a place to stay after they closed since the hotel season just ended. They genuinely showed interest in giving us a good experience and also provided fresh and delicious new breakfast items every morning. We would definitely come back here.More
