Melpo Antia

The Melpo Antia comes with a great pool, and it’s in an ideal spot for Ayia Napa’s beach and legendary nightlife.

These luxury apartments are really stylish. Contemporary shades of slate grey, camel, and off-white are used heavily throughout. And the look is finished with furniture that could've been picked straight from the pages of an interior design mag.

The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Limanaki Beach, a big sandy number in the heart of town. You’ll find Ayia Napa’s shops, bars and restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away, too.

What a great place to holiday!

The pool and Shisha bar is amazing for long, chilled lazy days and evenings. The rooms are spacious, modern yet comfortable. There are great restaurants (Avra and Frankie's and also a coffee shop, bakery and gelateria within the grounds. The beach is nearby too! Will definitely return!More

This hotel was honestly lovely, considering the fact its in ayia napa you would expect it to be noisy and full of teens, however quite the opposite. Location is perfect, if you got lost you could just look at the big wheel which can be seen throughout the whole of Napa. The staff are absolutely wonderful, they really make you feel at home and even gave us some free drinks on the house. Johnny is lovely!!! The pool side is very good, and if the weather gets too hot they bring around cold flannels to cool you down. I'm unsure of negative reviews n this place as i can honestly say it has no faults, except the fact wifi doesnt work in the rooms only on balcony and poolside (however this couldve chnaged since i last went) This hotel is perfect for families and i rate it very highly. Its also in the perfect location, near many shops and restaurants and the strip. Also around 10 minute drive to Nissi beach which is breath taking!! Loved this holiday and would return instantly but sadly theres no rooms free for when my holidays booked:( Shoutout to the Frisby family- if you go tell Johnny we send our love :))))More

Sophia F,

A total let down and disappointment

Warning- if you are staying in a 4 man room only 2 of the beds are 'proper' beds, one is a sofa pull out and the final bed is an appalling and almost laughable minuscule camp bed; which is barely large enough for a young child, and has a mattress that is about two inches thick. Also, the rooms are not given new towels daily, and having used all towels and going to ask for more from reception, we were snapped at by the staff, who refused to give us new ones and said a maid comes every THREE days. This is not the hotel for you if you are wanting a holiday with friends. The staff had a bias against myself and my friends, telling us to be silent at every opportunity they had, even if we were not speaking. The staff are rude and will frequently knock on your door and tell you to be quiet, and the night time staff even spat in my face after I mentioned how myself and my friends had each spent over €300 to be there. The only positive aspects of the hotel were the cocktails at the hotel bar, and being able to relax by the pool. Overall, the experience was disappointing and ruined by the rude staff, making the holiday seem more like an unpleasant school trip.More

Girls' holiday - AVOID

If you want a family holiday, I don't know why you're in Ayia Napa anyway - but maybe this hotel would be more suited to you. If, like most, you're on a girls/guys end of school holiday here.. Avoid this hotel like the plague. If you play music even at the ridiculously low volume or chat slightly too loudly, it takes about 2 minutes before an irrational and aggressive security guard comes banging on your door screaming at you... Throughout the holiday two of the guards spat in a friend of mine's face, threw a chair across the balcony and got so aggressive and close to another girl that she cried. The staff are petulant and incompetent and cannot speak proper English either to justify any of their actions. On one occasion a friend of ours from another hotel felt very unwell, we brought them into the reception to sit down and have some water but before we knew it the staff were quite literally screaming the hotel down despite the fact we had made no noise whatsoever. The breakfast selection was also appallingly limited. We paid for 4 people in each room but arrived to 2 proper single beds, one sofa bed and one meshy camp bed which collapsed several times and would hardly be large enough for a 6 year old child. The hotel also refused to provide us with toilet roll because 'service didn't run on a Sunday.' What on earth? About the only commendable thing about this hotel were the free lilos in the pool and pleasant cocktails. Don't go if you want a fun holiday. More

Wouldn't recommend

Despite the hotel being in a good location for going to all the big clubs and a short taxi journey away from the beach the hotels general service was poor. Firstly the hotel advertises that it offers a four person room, however upon arriving in our room we were shocked to find only two beds and two small camp beds on the floor. These were of poor quality and were incredibly uncomfortable and not the standard you would expect when you are paying nearly €400 for a week, not to mention them taking up a large portion of the living area making the room feel cramped. Secondly, the staff at the hotel were incredibly rude and disrespectful. On three occasions a security guard barged into our room and yelled at us claiming they had been watching us on the camera, making my group of friends, all 18 year old girls, feel like we had a loss of privacy and invaded. On one night the guard even threw a chair and spat in the face of one of the girls, and then refused to return our passports to us. As a group of respectful and well mannered girls we were all in shock that the staff would disrespect us like that. Although the hotel is clean and it's restaurant does offer good food, I would not recommend it for young people. They question you when you come in at night and on several occasions refused to give us room keys. There are several other high quality hotels in the area you could stay in that would treat their guests with some respect. More
