Melpo Antia

The Melpo Antia comes with a great pool, and it’s in an ideal spot for Ayia Napa’s beach and legendary nightlife.

These luxury apartments are really stylish. Contemporary shades of slate grey, camel, and off-white are used heavily throughout. And the look is finished with furniture that could've been picked straight from the pages of an interior design mag.

The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Limanaki Beach, a big sandy number in the heart of town. You’ll find Ayia Napa’s shops, bars and restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away, too.

PERFECT STAY..ESPECIALLY FOR FAMILIES

This hotel was honestly lovely, considering the fact its in ayia napa you would expect it to be noisy and full of teens, however quite the opposite. Location is perfect, if you got lost you could just look at the big wheel which can be seen throughout the whole of Napa. The staff are absolutely wonderful, they really make you feel at home and even gave us some free drinks on the house. Johnny is lovely!!! The pool side is very good, and if the weather gets too hot they bring around cold flannels to cool you down. I'm unsure of negative reviews n this place as i can honestly say it has no faults, except the fact wifi doesnt work in the rooms only on balcony and poolside (however this couldve chnaged since i last went) This hotel is perfect for families and i rate it very highly. Its also in the perfect location, near many shops and restaurants and the strip. Also around 10 minute drive to Nissi beach which is breath taking!! Loved this holiday and would return instantly but sadly theres no rooms free for when my holidays booked:( Shoutout to the Frisby family- if you go tell Johnny we send our love :))))More

Sophia F,

HELPO ANTIA

This hotel is genuinely the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at in my entire life. I visited with 18 of my girl friends and all of us are of the same opinion. If you are in Ayia Napa to party (and let's be honest, it's weird if you're not) then DO NOT stay at this hotel. On numerous occasions the night staff decided to let themselves into our rooms without warning in order to shout (more like scream) at us for making too much noise. If we had been approached in a polite manner, I know my friends and I would have been more than happy to move elsewhere or be quieter, however we were treated dreadfully. On one particular night one of the security guards actually spat in my friends face and threw a chair onto the balcony - I have never felt so violated in my entire life and I know my friends felt the same, with a few of us actually being reduced to tears. Of course , this is not the way ANYONE should be treated, especially paying guests of a hotel. Furthermore, our passports were held by the hotel for the whole duration of our stay, and when we politely asked for them back, we were refused. I am aware that hotels are perfectly within their rights to make copies of guests' passports but it is completely illegal to deny an individual access to their own passport. Bottom line - if you're a young person looking for a fun time in Napa DO NOT STAY HERE. If your a family looking for a relaxing holiday, this hotel may be more suited to you but I would still advise against it as breakfast was pretty disappointing and the rooms aren't great. A word of warning also - if you book a room for 4 people, one of you should expect to be sleeping on a camp bed which will most likely break the moment you lie on it. Also, forget fresh towels - this hotel only replaces them every third day and also has no toiletries - shampoo, conditioner etc. Quite frankly, I have absolutely no idea how this hotel has been awarded 4 stars. Worth mentioning that the pool staff were extremely pleasant (nice break from the horrible security staff, and rude receptionists).More

Wouldn't recommend

Despite the hotel being in a good location for going to all the big clubs and a short taxi journey away from the beach the hotels general service was poor. Firstly the hotel advertises that it offers a four person room, however upon arriving in our room we were shocked to find only two beds and two small camp beds on the floor. These were of poor quality and were incredibly uncomfortable and not the standard you would expect when you are paying nearly €400 for a week, not to mention them taking up a large portion of the living area making the room feel cramped. Secondly, the staff at the hotel were incredibly rude and disrespectful. On three occasions a security guard barged into our room and yelled at us claiming they had been watching us on the camera, making my group of friends, all 18 year old girls, feel like we had a loss of privacy and invaded. On one night the guard even threw a chair and spat in the face of one of the girls, and then refused to return our passports to us. As a group of respectful and well mannered girls we were all in shock that the staff would disrespect us like that. Although the hotel is clean and it's restaurant does offer good food, I would not recommend it for young people. They question you when you come in at night and on several occasions refused to give us room keys. There are several other high quality hotels in the area you could stay in that would treat their guests with some respect. More

Girls' holiday - AVOID

If you want a family holiday, I don't know why you're in Ayia Napa anyway - but maybe this hotel would be more suited to you. If, like most, you're on a girls/guys end of school holiday here.. Avoid this hotel like the plague. If you play music even at the ridiculously low volume or chat slightly too loudly, it takes about 2 minutes before an irrational and aggressive security guard comes banging on your door screaming at you... Throughout the holiday two of the guards spat in a friend of mine's face, threw a chair across the balcony and got so aggressive and close to another girl that she cried. The staff are petulant and incompetent and cannot speak proper English either to justify any of their actions. On one occasion a friend of ours from another hotel felt very unwell, we brought them into the reception to sit down and have some water but before we knew it the staff were quite literally screaming the hotel down despite the fact we had made no noise whatsoever. The breakfast selection was also appallingly limited. We paid for 4 people in each room but arrived to 2 proper single beds, one sofa bed and one meshy camp bed which collapsed several times and would hardly be large enough for a 6 year old child. The hotel also refused to provide us with toilet roll because 'service didn't run on a Sunday.' What on earth? About the only commendable thing about this hotel were the free lilos in the pool and pleasant cocktails. Don't go if you want a fun holiday. More

YOUNG PEOPLE PLEASE READ

Honestly, I have never felt so disrespected in my entire life. spent a week at the hotel from hell. Positives -> location, okay food, nice pool. Negatives -> the night staff were awful. On our first night, as a group of well behaved girls we wanted to enjoy our time together and so decided to head to one groups room where we were chilling out ready to hit the strip. we were making minimal noise as we are well mannered girls. The guard then stormed into the room screaming 'OUT' at us with no explanation then continued to follow us around the hotel where we quickly fled to the safety of our rooms. NIGHT NUMBER 2 the guard storms in, begins yelling at us with no explanation, we ask him what the problems were and why we had to leave as we could not understand. (apparently they saw us on a balcony camera - which i was told they were not permitted to have as it suggests a lack of privacy). Another guard then comes up. Guard number 1 then took it upon himself to SPIT in my friends face and laugh at her. Guard number 2 THREW A CHAIR at us then screamed in my friends face 'SHUTUP, SHUTUP, SHUTUP' in which she felt so intimidated that she began crying. We then were refused the right to our PASSPORTS that they had promised to return lunch time that day and had not. I was in shock at the series of events and was emotional myself as well as many of my friends. following this encounter we decided we did not want the torment again and so had to look elsewhere to chill before a night out. We found that the staff were generally incredibly rude and always acted as though we were a massive problem however we feel that they just thought they could disrespect us as they saw us as nothing more than a group of 18 year old girls out on a party holiday but even so no one deserves the level of respect that we were given.More
