a very late review! Visited ayia Napa in October 2014 with my Nan who's 61! At first she was apprehensive about visiting ayia Napa however green bungalows made our hoilday perfect! On arrival we were taken to a room abit far out from the pool which was perfect for my nan as she wanted peace & green bungalows had a big group in around the pool. As soon as the group left we were offered a room around the pool which was amazing!! I would reccomend a room around the pool!! The rooms are basic but have everything you need for all ages! We had an amazing time. Great food from the hotel & lovely staff. The cleaning was up to a high standard. I loved my time at green bungalows!! & will be returning with my partner in September 2016!! Keep up the good work green bungalows:) More
Good location and decent facilities
stayed here in july 2015 with a group of girl friends, was our first holiday abroad so were a bit nervous especially after reading negative reviews. Nice hotel when we arrived pool and bar area were great and lively and the rooms were spacious and clean. However do not recommend the pool 'parties' if you just want to relax as you get forced into playing games you don't want to or taunted by the annoying host. Located about a 5 minute walk from main clubs which was great for us and only a 5/10 minute taxi to the beach. Really enjoyed our stay here however staff were a bit rowdy and not very friendly at times but would definitely recommend for a girls holiday!More

Great place for clubbing holiday!
My friends and I booked this hotel for a week in August. After reading some of the reviews we were quite apprehensive, but upon arrival all these worries went away and we had a great week. The staff are both welcoming and helpful, the food reasonably priced (but still can find cheaper food outlets nearby), a great atmosphere by the pool (and happy hour!) whilst still feeling safe due to the vigilance of the manager. Perhaps the best thing is the location: if you're going to Ayia Napa to visit the strip, you're really in no better place - it's also close to restaurants and the beach. The only problems we had was as booking two rooms for 3 people in each they ended up being very far away and the third bed in each room was more of a camp bed. Yet apart from that we would definitely recommend; hopefully see you next year! More

Great location, average property
A friend and I visited Green Bungalows in September 2014. The location is perfect, as it is near all the pubs and bars in the area; it's only a few minutes walk up to the center of the partying area. As for the beaches, there are many close beaches when you walk a few minutes down, or you can take the bus to a bit further beaches.
The property itself is very average; the food and drinks at the bar are not bad, but all the services are minimal. It's perfect for only sleeping in, and spending your day outside.More
Good pool area and location.
Well what do I say about this hotel? I went here late in July with 8 other friends all aged 21. This was our third/fourth lads holiday together so we knew roughly what to expect. I've been to Zante and Magaluf previously and this was probably the worst hotel room that I have stayed in.
Myself and the lads allocated the rooms by picking numbers which everyone was fine with but the problems arose when we actually entered the room. I believe we were staying in rooms 715-717. When we entered our room, we noticed that we had 3 beds, obviously 3 to a room, except one of the beds was a very small camper bed. Luckily, our mate took the short straw and had to sleep on it and with him being the lightest, it was a good job. It definitely wouldn't of held a heavier bloke - the other rooms all had proper beds, it was just in our room.
Also, we had a fridge that didn't work at all, we basically used the fridge as storage for drink, but not for cooling purposes, and often had to put our drinks in our friends' fridges. Also the door of the fridge would jam on the wood above it, making it a chore to actually open the fridge.
The air conditioning however was terrible in our room, for days on end the water would drip all over the floor from it, often soaking many items of clothing. I had to keep electronics away from it for that reason. Also part of the plastic on the air con was hanging off, and when a maintenance guy came to fix it, he basically bashed it causing it to completely fall off. Unfortunately for those who stay longer than a week too, your air con shuts off after a week which you need to get reception to put on again - this can be a pain when you've been out all day and you return to a boiling hot room.
This room also was opposite a building, which was rumoured to house 'strippers' and 'ladies of the night'. Mirrors in the room as well as windows seemed to be inconveniently placed making it look like the lads were having a look. However, by the end of the holiday, the girls didn't actually care and would sit out on their balconies topless, laughing and joking with us. However, when they spoke in their native language between themselves, we were slightly intimidated.
Our rooms as well seemed to be the furthest rooms away from the pool and bar area, maybe some favouritism going on here due to where you're from and what gender you are.
My friends rooms all seemed to be okay and they didn't seem to have any major issues other than poor Wi-Fi connectivity. Their balconies also offered better viewing than ours, which faced a building disconnected to the hotel.
Showers and toilets seemed a little old but worked fine and it's exactly what you expect.
Pool area was great and the hotel would often have certain 'celebrities' attend, like cast members from TOWIE, Geordie Shore and MiC. They would often have drinking games organised too which was fun for the people around the pool to watch and participate. It was sometimes hard to acquire a sunbed early on but that's to be expected. Generally more became available from about 3pm onwards. Also, we quite regularly ate food around 12 for our breakfast. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't amazing but when you're hungover, it still tasted pretty good, and was really cheap. A chicken and cheese toastie cost about 2 euros.
Reception staff were really nice to us at all times, always smiling. Even the manager was always nice to us although when drunk, one of my friends broke one of the chairs and threw it out into the hotel corridors (we did pay for this, obviously).
Location was very good, only a few minutes away from the main strips. NOTE: ayia napa doesn't really have a strip so to speak, there are loads of different directions you can walk which take you to different bars. Unfortunately, clubs aren't allowed to play music aloud after 2am so you'll often find yourself going to a cheesy underground bar called Carwash, which can be a laugh, but not every single night like my friends insisted!
The shop was ran by a few people, one british girl in particular who was always nice to us. The shop served everything you ever needed for a holiday and sold 1ltr of Smirnoff vodka for 13 euros, which is really cheap!
Still a good hotel, just seemed my room was a little unfortunate and we were a bit too far away from the pool.More
