Very friendly hotel
The hotel was basic but clean enough. The staff were very friendly and looked after us. The hotel is located not far from the strip and in a good location. The beach is a 5 minute walk. The hotel does offer a good menu ranging from toasties, burgers and all types of salad. I would definately return to this hotel during the summer season.More

The hotel is basic and dated, the rooms are very large with a decent size balcony. The negatives for us were the housekeeping was not very good. She had a quick sweep of the floor and left towels, emptied the bins. The positives are the staff. Very friendly and really looked after us from day one. George was the best, a really good guy. We had breakfast and lunch and couldn't fault it. The drinks are reasonably priced as was the food. Although very basic it didn't put us off, it was a very cheap and cheerful holiday and we made the holiday one to remember. More
Ayia Napa OK ish
Was OK. Can't really say much more than that. Hotel was well positioned. Staff were friendly enough. Room/ studio was clean. The bath had been painted and there was a constant drip from the shower head - overcame this by taking from the holder and laying it in the bath. We had paid in advance for half board, but after the meal on the first night, ate out. The breakfast included in the half board at â¬6 was poor. - slice cheese, slice processed ham, runny fried egg and tomato. Looking at their menu a full English breakfast was offered at less than this. We weren't given any choice. The hotel is very popular with Norwegians and Swedish who tended to monopolise the communal seating areas playing cards while nursing one drink all night. The hotel is clean but "tired". For value for money the hotel is fine but don't go expecting the Ritz......More

We have now stayed at EvabelleNapa three autumns in a row, and we intend to continue. The hotel has been run by the same for nearly four years now, and the standard has improved every year. For us the standard was sufficient in the first year. They have been very successful recruiting the right people ; they have a wonderful staff. For season 2014 they employed a housekeeper to raise standards. Only negative is that the wireless internet in the rooms do not meet European standards, but I know they are working on it. When we visit next autumn we to hope to have Skype video calls without interruption. The restaurant has a good chef. You can now also order takeawey chicken meal (which is enough for 4 people) or a takeaway pizza. There is also a dance every Friday. Some days BBQ parties are arrange in the courtyard to everyone's satisfaction. We like to cycle and we've found a nice route Ayia Napa Frenaros-Vrysoulles-Dekelia-Ormideia-Liopetri-Ayia Napa 72 km. You can make the route shorter by taking Ayia Napa Frenaros-Vrysoulles-Avgorou-Liopetri-Ayia Napa 50 km. It is a beautiful landscape with good roads. There are also other good cycling routes around Ayia Napa. In autumn, the weather in Ayia Napa absolutely wonderful until mid-December, with a average temperature above 20 °C. The weather gets a little unstable from later December until the end of January. Ayia Napa has the warmest and most sunny days in the whole Mediterranean. We use all the time three languages English with locals, Swedish with Swedes and Norwegians and Finnish and Finnish-speaking Finns. The hotel staff speak English. Scandinavian Church is a good meeting place, open between 10-14 weekdays. There you can read newspapers, borrow books, drink coffee with waffle and meet new people. We warmly recommend EvabelleNapa hotels and Ayia Napa as a great getaway for seniors during the winter months.More

Perfect for young people visiting for Ayia Napa experience, basic but fine
Belated review. Stayed here with my friend last year for the nightlife of Ayia Napa. It was exactly what I expected...a basic budget hotel. There was plenty of negatives if I was to be picky. Do not bother getting the wifi, it is the worst wifi in the world and just a waste of money. The maid seemed to have a problem with us and I am yet to understand why (we weren't particularly messy at all). She took our towels everyday without replacing them and when we asked at reception for towels they tried to accuse us of lying about the maid taking them and sent us on our way with some new towels. However, all that was left by this point were two hand towels which did not make for a very pleasant shower! Not to mention the bath was vile! Staff were very unapproachable and unhelpful throughout the hotel. Our balcony door was very temperamental and made me feel very unsafe, especially as we were on the ground floor. The pool wasn't great, it was dirty and had a scummy line around the side of the pool. There was definitely not enough sunbeds and on several days we found ourselves sitting in the pool bar waiting for one to be free. The music was blaring non stop all day. When I say blaring I mean you couldn't hear the person next to you talking. You had to shout at the top of your voice. I know ayia napa is that sort of place but I'd like to hear myself think while I'm trying to sunbathe! The pool bar was just unapproachable and we didn't use it once. The rooms were okay however all the cutlery and cups (i say 'all', there were 3 cups and a couple of pieces of cutlery) were dirty and mismatched. There were two plug sockets in the whole room which was a nightmare and the air con could only be used in one room at a time. So you'd often find yourself going back and forth looking for the key and swapping it. However, I will say that the hotel is in a really good location. 2-5 mins from the strip but not too close at all.The rooms were fairly clean (minus the bathroom and kitchen area). The rooms are very spacious and there is plenty of furniture (maybe even too much). I found it handy that there was a place to leave your luggage after you've checked out and there is a big reception/waiting area with plenty of sofas. There is a good little shop right next door which has everything you might need (except spirits which was a bit of a let down. Overall this is a good hotel for young people looking for that Ayia Napa party holiday. I wouldn't say it's a great hotel but it's got what you need. It's a basic hotel with flaws but you get what you pay for and who needs a fancy hotel on a party holiday. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR FAMILIES.More
