Basic but good

Very basic hotel but good. We picked this hotel due to been 15 mins walk from the main stip so we were not in the party bit. There was plenty of bars/restaurants in a few mins walking for a quite drink/meal. The first few days was lovely - relaxed by the pool - family/ couples/older couples. ( music played very loud) but the last few were not due to a few groups of new people out to drunk the atmosphere changed. They sat and drunk round the pool which is no problem but would throw there cups in after, took over the pool a bit and at night time it was terrible . 3/4/5 am in the morning when they returned they would be very loud, jumping in the pool ( we had pool view) singing/ screaming . Staff did try to get them out but very hard when there drunk. One night it was staff raking loud that kept us away. I would have giving an extra star if not for noise. I no it's a party town but we chose a hotel far away to avoid this.More

Gemma W,

Thoroughly enjoyable

Apartments basic but functional. Clean and maid service good. The rep representation was poor and no where was there a sign saying Eliana Apartments which made it very difficult to find as we drove ourselves to the apartments.More

Marilyn S,

Amazing hotel, brilliant atmosphere!

Came for a girls holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it! The hotel was absolutely perfect for the type of holiday we had come for and the staff were lovely. This hotel is brilliant in terms of location to strip and there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby so the location was everything we needed!:-) Definitely would recommend this hotel for young people coming for a lively holiday!!! Can't wait to return:-)More

Brilliant location!!

We stayed here for one week, just outside of the busy summer time. Our room was amazingly spacious with comfortable beds. The bathroom was decent sized, but a little tired in places, you could tell it was coming to the end of the season etc. We didn't spend much time in the hotel itself as we do like to hire a car and explore as much as possible. That said, they did supply us with a car park space, which was perfect!! The hotel is in a great location, not too far out and not too close either!! There is also a nearby supermarket on the corner of the road!! More

Important English clubber info not just complaints

I found all the rest of the reviews completely useless when it came to describing this hotel so I aim to do a better job. Location compared to Ayia Napa Bar strip - Literally a 3 minute stroll - Take a left at the entrance to hotel (as if you are leaving the hotel) walk to the top of the road and turn right. Continue to walk and you will see restaurants on the left. Bars straight ahead. Nearest shop - Attached to the hotel on the right and straight across the road in front of hotel. Has loads of stuff, water, juice, fruit, chocolate, crisps, clothes, food, suncream, alcohol. Really decent amenity. Nearest restaurant - Take a left or right out of the entrance, they line the roads on either side of hotel. Take a left at hotel and then a right, walk straight on a bit and there are two restaurants that do english breakfasts. The one owned by an irish lady and her Cypriot husband do really good english food.. Chips and egg were to die for! Loads of fast food, pizza/burger/kebab places down the bar strip. McDonalds - take a right out of hotel entrance and a left when you reach main road. Straight on to the golden M. Beach - beautiful blue sea and white sand. About 20 mins walk from hotel. Wifi in hotel - Not the best but free so cant complain. Pool - A bit warm for my liking but big enough for everyone. Room - Spacious and clean, aircon was 6 euros a night and 15 pound deposit at reception. Wasn't ice cold but miles better than outside temp! Bathroom was falling apart a bit, grouting falling out etc but the shower worked fine and the toilet too. No cold water in the shower but that's probably because the tanks on the roof were baking in the sun. We went in july so probably wouldn't be as warm in other months. Kitchenette very small but we didn't eat in anyway. Fridge in room was absolutely fine and big enough for two of us. Maids come around at 11am everyday to empty bins etc. Check out of room is at 12pm and there are no showers apart from the one round the pool, no aircon in lobby, there are toilets and a baggage room though. General comments on hotel and Ayia Napa itself: Hotel staff nice enough, didn't have any issues with them. Don't leave food around or juice as there are ants in the room, they will only come out if you make a mess though and they didn't go near the beds or anything. The guests in the hotel were a mix of English and eastern European though the English were the minority. It is a basic hotel but served our purposes. I would say it was like the Travelodge but with a few ants Same with the resort itself, I have been to Ibiza, Malia, Zante, tenerife etc and came here as part of my clubbing tour. I was disappointed I have to admit. There are hardly any English people. Most of the reps (that try and get you in the bars) are from Africa/eastern Europe etc and there were only a handful of English clubbers. We went in peak season so I doubt it improves in different months. The music was chart music I didn't come away with any new songs that I hadn't heard on the music channel before hand. The clubs we went to were the same chart music, nothing original. I went to Ayia Napa because I heard it was the place to be after Ibiza but I disagree, maybe it used to be the place to go but it has been invaded now and isn't very good.More
