Villa Maestral

Nestled in an elevated position, on a green hillside above the beautiful blue-green bay of Trpanj and behind a light screen of pine trees, Villa Maestral stands, keeping an unobtrusive eye on the harbour below. The building houses two upper floor apartments, in addition to the owners and their family who live on the ground floor. They are very friendly and hospitable, so sharing the villa's grounds with them is more likely to be a pleasure than an inconvenience. The villa is named for the breeze which blows over the bay, and a cool, airy feel has been achieved in the simple decor of the interior. To take the name more literally, though, it is outdoor living at which these apartments excel. The smaller of the apartments is a romantic hideaway, with a private bedroom terrace offering exceptional views and the milky morning light, in addition to the main terrace which comes off the living/dining area. The second apartment is similarly appointed, with an additional twin bedroom, and with lovely sea views from the main terrace. All the amenities of Trpanj are within easy walking distance, including opportunities to sample excellent local wines without having to worry about driving home.
