Fragrant orange blossom, pine needles and good, clean sea air. These are the smells which will remind you of a visit to Stikovica Zaton. This tranquil little gem of a resort overlooks a relatively safe, pebble beach, Zaton Bay, with three bar/restaurants. So after your swim, you can have an Ozujski beer (pivo), a coffee or a hearty meal. (Tip: Croatian pizzas rarely disappoint and are half the price of what you'll pay at home.) In one direction, there is a suspension bridge into town, in the other, a famous seafood restaurant, Orsan, plus the village of Zaton Mali where you'll find a handful of places to eat and a mini-market. The only minus? Not ideal for buggies or less mobile visitors as there are some steep walks.
