The TUI Family Life Nevis Resort is set to make its grand debut in 2017, with a splash zone, a spa and big, family-sized suites.
This place is well-placed for views out to the Black Sea. Resort-wise, it’s sandwiched between Sunny Beach and St Vlas, so you’ve got your pick of sandy beaches. Speaking of which, the closest is just 10 minutes’ stroll away.
As the property’s new for 2017, you can expect everything to be in pristine condition. And there’ll be extra family-friendly touches, like spacious rooms and suites for up to six people.

Amazing for families
We just came back from a fantastic week at the Family Life Nevis resort. Before going we had read some not altogether positive reviews but these all seem to refer to the first week after opening and we didn't experience any of those problems during our week. We were a large family group with 5 children 9-15, parents and grandparents and everyone had a thoroughly positive experience The rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious (especially the family suites). The beds were very comfortable and we all had nice views in different directions. Especially positive for me was that while the evening entertainment was going on, noise levels in the corridor were quite high but once inside the room we couldn't hear a thing either from that or from neighbouring rooms. The airconditioning was, thankfully, working perfectly. On the minus side, the set-up where doors couldn't be opened from the outside while there was a card in the slot on the inside was a bit strange, it's quite easy to accidentally lock yourself out of the room. Wi-fi was a bit slow but no worse than usual in hotels. Food was overall excellent! The variety in the main restaurant was great and even our fussy 10-year-old founds something different she liked every time. We loved the Green & Grill and Taverna experiences too (the only minus was the portion sizes - there was no way we could possibly eat all that food and we felt guilty about leaving so much untouched). And as if all that food wasn't enough there was also the Snack bar with for example really nice pizza slices. The quality and selection of drinks at the bars was also great, staff was overall very nice and there were never any queues. The hotel facilities were also great, all our kids (and the adults) especially loved the pools and the waterslides! We did find it strange that they all close at 6pm though, this seemed absurdly early and will hopefully be something that can be changed in the future. We loved the fact that the hotel was situated a little way off from the rest of the town. During our week temperatures were in the mid 30s and after a walk on the beach or in town we were delighted every time to get away from the sweltering concrete jungle and be back at our hotel up the hill with its lovely cooler breezes (and nice views of the bay). The 78-year-old in our group, however, found it difficult to walk up and down the hills both inside and outside the hotel so this may not be perfect for everyone. Finally, while we experienced some minor glitches (e.g. room key cards not working on arrival), staff were always very helpful and serviceminded and everyone we met, in the restaurants, bars, reception, spa, fitness instructors etc were all very nice and had positive attitudes towards the guests. Thank you all for a fantastic week!More
Just returned from a weeks holiday with my 21 year old daughter (31st July to 7th August). I was a little apprehensive as read some negative reviews however I would urge you not to take tòo much notice, your holiday is what you make of it. High expectations lead to disappointment, lower expectations Iead to more enjoyable experiences. That's my philosophy haha ;) however I will do my best to give an account of my personal experience of the hotel including a review of excursions that we went on. The hotel is lovely as expected as it is new. ( Exactly as in brochure). The entire hotel is immaculately clean, it's brand spanking new so hasn't even acquired the lived in look yet. I agree that it would have been nice to have a welcome drink on arrival but not the end of the world that it didn't happen. Check in wasn't the best, we was handed a map and expected to find our way to our room. It's confusing initially but easy to navigate your way around the hotel quite quickly once settled. My daughter & I took about 15 mins to work out where we was meant to be it was quite frustrating as every employee that we asked for directions kept sending us off in different directions this wasn't at all fun as suitcases heavy and hotel grounds quite hilly. ( not recommended for people with mobility issues). When we eventually located the lift to our room we entered, pressed the button for the fourth floor there was a bit of a loud clunk and bang and complete standstill. We quickly realised that we were stuck in the lift! We managed to get in touch with a member of staff using the intercom. Rosie responded and assured us that someone would be along shortly to get us out. We were stuck there for approx 20 mins! fortunately our mood remained good and we laughed our way through the situation, no point panicking , ( may have been a different story if there was more people in it), however it was getting a bit hot in there and it was a welcome relief when the doors finally opened. Rosie gave us a bottle of water for our trouble, we would have preferred vodka at that point lol;) My daughter refused to use the lift for the remainder of our stay. The room was beautiful not at all disappointing and was kept immaculately clean. There is a safe in the room which should be reset by the bellboy. We still don't know who that was as despite several requests he never did make an appearance and we resorted to locking our valuables in our cases each day. There is tea/ coffee making facilities in the room and plenty of electricity points. The hairdryer is amazing and also has a difusser if required. There is also a fridge in the room. We had a fresh bottle of water in our room approx every other day. I agree The dining room did resemble a canteen. Plenty of food to choose from however not very adventurous, they could have done with some around the world theme nights. To the staffs credit, tables were cleared immediately between courses. The food was hot when required to be and I would highly recommend the baked potatoes ( I only ever noticed them at lunch time). Plenty of fruit and desserts to choose from. The bar in the lobby lacked atmosphere very uninviting no music, no encouragement to stay. The atmosphere around the pool was really good. Plenty of snacks available and there is a coffee shop for all your caffeine addicts (open from 9 until 6 each day). Unfortunately it's not included in your all inclusive package however, if you choose to use it the cost is approx 3.49 lev and is charged to your room. You pay the bill on checkout ( they have decaff that's the reason I used it ). Plenty of music around the pool and plenty of opportunities to join in the activities if you wish. The entertainment in the evening was good especially for the children. The entertainment team worked tirelessly day and night to ensure that the children had a fantastic stay. The children's entertainment in the evening I believe is from 7 until 9 then family entertainment from 9 until 10. The entertainment team worked so hard to give a good performance each night, very enjoyable. There is a singer from 10 onwards I wouldn't recommend staying for this. he's not very good but sounds a whole lot better from the confines of the hotel balcony lol ;) drinks are not bad I tried a few of the cocktails I would recommend the vanilla bomb and island breeze. No need to reserve sun beds there are plenty. There are books in the hotel lobby around by the reps section to borrow. You are given towel cards each you can get clean towels each day. There is also a free shuttle bus this leaves the hotel every 30 mins takes you down to the hotels private beach area. The sun beds are free and there is a rather nice beach bar nearby. A meal and drinks costs approx 36 lev. As part of your all inclusive package at the hotel you can also book to have one meal at the Taverna Restaurant and one meal at the Green & Grill Restaurant ( both were amazing , I didn't really have a preference). At each restaurant you are served everything on the starter and appetizer menu, you have a choice of main and dessert. We went on the hidden Bulgaria trip this was really enjoyable. Plenty of food (bread, cheese, ham, fine cut meats, pancakes, cheese pie, yoghurt and drink ( wine, beer, brandy & soft drinks. ) First stop is the bee farm you are given the opportunity to taste and buy, from memory I think the price ranged from approx 8 lev to 12 lev. The second stop is at the top of the mountain. You get to go on a horse & cart ride (remember to take your sun cream as it gets rather hot) There is a photographer on entry where you are greeted by a Bulgarian woman in traditional dress serving bread. The price of the photograph is 10 lev for one or 15 lev for two. The 3rd stop is at the wine cellar. You are greeted by a Bulgarian man in traditional dress and presented with a glass of red wine. the price is 10 lev for a photo and a magnet. From memory I think we had 3 glasses of red wine, 2 glasses of white wine and one brandy ( hard to remember with all that alcohol haha ) plus more food - bread, cheese, ham & fine cut meats) The final stop is at a town ( the name I cannot remember alcohol still affecting my memory haha) free time for one hour to do some shopping. We also went to Khan's tent this is a must this was just amazing!! My daughter & I loved every minute. There is a live band, traditional dancing and a 4 course meal with 2 bottles of wine on the table one bottle for each person as well as soft drinks. As with the hidden Bulgaria trip there is a photographer he takes photo at table the cost is 10 lev. All in all it was an enjoyable stay and we would definitely consider going back Bulgaria and returning to this hotel. I hope I covered everything and you find my review helpful.More

We loved every minute!
I have just arrived home after an amazing week at the family life Nevis resort. I can not fault this place at all! Some of the reviews are negative about the complex appearance etc. I did not see anything that was concerning although it is clear that tweaks and improvements are being made daily to certain areas and gardens etc. The staff are so friendly and can not do enough for you. The food was great and the pools and bars are brilliant. I would go back again for sure. My children 10 and 8 years chose not to join the kids clubs but we enjoyed the entertainment every night. We arrived mid afternoon Monday and were welcomed at Reception. I totally forgot about the welcome meeting the following day but still managed to work the site out using the map and info provided when I checked in. I joined the aqua fit class at 11am in the main pool and enjoyed the slides on a daily basis (i'm 37!) The rooms are a great size and the beds are extremely comfortable. I considered asking what mattress they had as I slept so well. The cleaner spent a good half an hour cleaning our room which I felt was a great example of the care that is made to the complex. she cleaned mirrors and beds daily. water was left in the room and also small sample toiletries. We used the free shuttle bus to get to the beach which runs every half hour through the day. The beach is private as in the sunbeds are only for the Nevis resort customers but the beach is accessed by all. Thank you for a great holiday........ I cant wait to return!More

Excellent Family Holiday
Thomson/Tui have certainly got this right and really thought about family holidays. The Hotel was spotless (Has only been open this season) and the rooms spacious and well kept. The food (all inclusive) was excellent and varied and the restaurant large enough to enable seating for everyone without having to play musical chairs. There were sun beds a plenty and no need to get up early to ensure getting one. There was also a free shuttle bus from the Hotel to the Tui private beach (10 mins) with again more sunbeds than you could throw a stick at. The Spa was excellent and the Jeep Safari excursion great fun (expect to get wet) The excursion trip to Nessebar was a bit brief and we returned ourselves by water Taxi to spend more time and have evening meal there later in the holiday. (return taxi very reasonable too)More
Spa visit at the Tui Family Life Nevis
We have been to the spa in the hotel today and had the most amazing experience for so little....we talked to a really friendly guy yesterday who was walking around the pool trying to promote the spa which is on site. Myself and my wife were planning on using the spa anyway at some point during the holiday so we decided to speak to him. He gave us a great deal for myself, my wife and my two girls (10 & 13). We had an amazing Turkish bath experience really expertly done and very relaxed. The girls had a full body mud scrub also. We then had a face mask and then myself and my wife had a full body aromatherapy massage. This as well as full use of the spa facilities including jacuzzi, steam room and two saunas. We were in there for two hours at least. We're given tea and coffee and were treated brilliantly by the team. And all for the equivalent of £200! This would have cost more than double in the UK. Great service, fantastic experience highly recommend. More
