Elaine Y,

If you're looking for the best hotell in sunny beach, you've found it

This was our first time in sunny beach and we absolutely loved it! The people, the beach, the food, the staff everything was near perfect. Dont read the negative reviews of this hotel, most of the people are only not used to modern technology. For exemple; you need to put your card in the cardholder dor the electricity to work and ac will automaticlly turn off if you have the balcony door open. So please, dont be stupid. The location of the hotel is perfect. Walking distance to everything. The buffe is amazing and if you want you can book a table, for free, in the asian resturant. An great experience. Most of the people at the hotell are older couples but there are also some in their twentys enjoying the all inclusive. Not so many children at the hotell but the enviroment is still good for children. The enviroment outside the hotel on the otherhand is not suited for a child during night time. The only thing that could be better would be the wifi, but hey, you are on holiday so why bother with that stuff? The best thing of all was the animation team. Hard working people who makes everything in their power to entertain and make your semester perfect. So please be nice on your holiday and treat others the way you want to be treated. More

Alexander S,

Excellent holiday. Was really sad to leave

If you are looking for a nice hotel In a central location then this is the place. The hotel is immaculately clean. The staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. ROOMS- modern and spotless with fresh towels and toiletries every day. Also with fridge and amazing power showers. BAR - good choice of alcoholic and soft drinks with wine, beer, local spirits, cocktails and liqueurs included. Also there are self pouring machines in all restaurants and soft drinks self service by pool. This is great as you never have to queue for a drink. FOOD - asian restaurant exceptional. Main restaurant and snack bar slightly repetitive but good quality and could always find something to eat. Only quibble would be we missed breakfast most days as it finishes at 9.30am which we thought was very early and the late breakfast in the snack bar wasn't worth going to. All in all excellent for an all inclusive hotel. Pool - fab. Cleaned every morning. Some people complained it was too cold but we found it refreshing as it was 40 degrees outside ENTERTAINMENT - OK so if your looking for a full entertainment program then this could be dissapointing. The animation team work really hard during the day with activities running all day. In the evening however there is really only a mini disco at 8.30 then a 'show' from 9.30 for about an hour. This didn't really bother us as we just went out walking most nights and there are plenty of bars just up the road. However the all inclusive runs in the lobby bar until 11pm and until midnight in the bar salon so plenty of time to have a few before going out. ** all in all a fantastic holiday. Hotel facilities were perfect for us as a couple in our thirties. Thank you RIU HELIOS we will see you next year xx More

bevvi-panda,

Wish I was still there!

Went with my partner for 14 nights here and had a great time. The weather wasn't perfect but we still had 10 out of 14 days of sun. We went at the start of the season so everything was just beginning to open up. The hotel itself was in a great location (close to all the shops and next to the beach) and the room was large and comfy (though the air con wasn't brilliant). We ended up with a view of the main pool which was nice and pretty quiet. The cleaners were friendly and the facilities in the room were good (other then the hairdryer which was a bit naff). The one thing I didn't like about the rooms were that although they were non smoking, you could smoke on the balcony and I think people may have been smoking in the rooms as the halls tended to smell like smoke. We stayed by the quieter pool which was nice but there were some loose tiles in the pool (I cut my toe on one) so be careful. Also out and about, at most of the restaurants you were plagued by people smoking as the restaurants allowed smoking inside. The food at the hotel was lovely. You can go to the asian restaurant twice a week and it is well worth it! Didn't try the Bulgarian one. The main restaurant was good for dinner and lunch. The staff were lovely, but in particular the animation team were brilliant; not too pushy but try to get you involved (and good at remembering names). My partners favorite was a guy called Nosco who was very enthusiastic and friendly. The evening entertainment was okay and there were plenty of things to do in the area. Food was very cheap and nice at restaurants down the road (although you do get pestered constantly to come into bars etc as you walk past. Unfortunately during our time there, there was a shooting down the road from the hotel (mafia) but no tourists were harmed and it didn't affect our holiday. But if you do go here don't p**s off the locals. Wifi was free in certain places in the hotel but wasn't brilliant (I wouldn't pay for it in the room either). Most restaurants/ bars had free wifi anyway. We went on a few excursions (would recommend the sunset cruise out of all of them) and enjoyed them. All in all had a great time and would love to go back some time for a week.More
