The Hotel Marvel gives you the best of both worlds – it’s in the laid-back part of Sunny Beach, but it’s close enough to the centre of the resort.
This hotel is pitched up on the quieter side of Sunny Beach, less than a minute’s walk from the beach. Stroll along the promenade for half an hour, and it’ll lead you all the way to the bright lights in the centre of town.
Inside, things have taken a modern turn. Bedrooms have contemporary, chocolate-coloured soft furnishings, while downstairs, the 24-hour bar has funky red and orange seats.

Okay hotel, clean and tidy reception area. Food not so good and not cooked, we were quite a large group and a lot of us were poorly. Which resulted in us just sticking to chips and pasta ð· Pool and bar areas could do with updating and a good clean, same for rooms. Beach very close but not very nice, very rough and sand was littered. Also loacals very rude and unhelpful! Staff in hotel were lovelyMore
This is a lovely hotel. The rooms were modern and were cleaned regularly. At the top of the resort so in a fairly quiet location, 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Me and my friends went and mainly took taxis to get into the centre at night which cost 35lev. Around half hour-45 minute walk to the nightlife. Food is food, drinks are good! Lovely hotel in general. More
High End Hotel at affordable prices
This hotel is fabulous quality at affordable prices. We stopped here 3 nights as part of our drive round Europe. We were incredibly well looked after, the staff are fantastic considering they have to deal with the madness of the package tour season. This hotel is at the St Vlas end of Sunny beach so away from a lot of the noise. The area is clean and tidy and has pool, gym, sauna and massage. Would recommend to anyone. Can't forget the Steakhouse - amazing food, excellent service, great prices.More
First time in a couple of years i have stayed at the Marvel Hotel in that time nothing much has changed except the food got a lot better except for the last few days before the hotel closed up for the winter it was a little weird being one of only 3 people in a hotel with 440 rooms.so beware if you go the last two weeks of the year be prepared for the hotel and surrounding shops to closed down around you, Get on great with the staff the lady on reception [whose name escapes me] is very helpful and the the guy who runs the restaurant also very friendly.great location ,tip dont leave money on the desk as the cleaners think its for them.back again end of MayMore
Huge let down
The hotel itself, the rooms, location , staff, food etc was good considering the price. You will end up eating out as food fine but gets bland after a while and little in the way of entertainment, but only ten minutes walk to main nightlife and cheap. The way they organise night activities is bizarre. Most hotels I have stayed in clear out sunbeds around pool and put tables out. Not here, the pool area is effectively shut off so if you want a table or drink you are forced into one area next to the only AI bar, hardly any room . Again you end up walking into town where you can sit on the sand and have a beer. But the main reason I rate this poor is the ridiculous situation with sunbeds. It's a joke! This is a purpose built hotel, not an office block converted to a hotel, so whoever designed it should be ashamed, with over 200 rooms but only space for about 150 sunbeds just does not work. I have been on holidays in a big group and you accept if you want 6 plus sunbeds together someone has to get up early to sort. But here, if you are on your own, a couple, or like me with 2 kids you will have to be up at 5 am to get beds, and it's not guaranteed. The result is its carnage, we saw arguements, fights etc and just constant conflict. Even when I had beds I was pressured to give them up if kids were still in bed ( which teens do), so even if you have beds you have to fight to keep them. People would sit on the steps and wait for beds all day! For all its good points I will say that look at other hotels that appreciate that for the money you spend a sunbed should be guaranteed, holidays should not be about getting up in the middle of the night and facing aggro all day, shame because everything else was fineMore
