Say it as you see it!!!!
hotel is not a 4 star or 3 star plus as in thomson info. Very understaffed. Lobby bar is small and in the evening you have to queue to get a drink. Always running out of glasses. Customers having to clear tables of glasses and return them to the bar. Restaurant very unorganised. If you stood up to get food after finding a table and then returned you had to find another table as people had taken your seat. Food was same old same old. Entertainment was virtually none existant. Room was big. Not the cleanest. Shower holder was broken and not adjustable so it sprayed over your head and soaked the floor ( i'm 6ft). Lifeguard was hardly ever watching pool and was found asleep one time at the stage area near pool bar. I only saw the pool cleaned once while i was there. You can't walk to the beach from the rear of the hotel. It's about 5 minutes from the hotel. On the plus side old town was really nice and we went there about 4 times finding different things on each visit. Did 2 trips, khans tent which is a good night out and discovering bulgaria as the full day visiting bee farm and villages then wine tasting!!!!!! On reflection a better hotel would have made the holiday as they would have had no staffing issues and better entertainment.More
Good value, Great location
Room: A41 Me and my partner paid extra to stay in a suite overlooking the sea. it was a fantastic room. the bed was really comfy, the room was a great size with decent storage for clothes toiletries etc. the view was spectacular. the cleaners did a good job at tidying, but make sure if your lying in you put the do not disturb sign on the door. Location can not fault the location. its about a 15 minute walk to Nessebar old town, and a short bus ride into the heart of Sunny Beach. bus cost 1.30 lev to both the old town and anywhere in Sunny Beach with buses running every 12 minutes up until midnight. the beach is literally about 50m down the road and is a brilliant beach. sandy with very clear water Food & Drink there was a great selection of drinks included in the all inclusive. the food as a whole was good but very repetitive like most all inclusive. at breakfast the chefs made waffles, pancakes and omlettes to order which were delicious!. the fries were usually luke warm even though a couple of times we were one of the first into dinner. Facilities. the pool was a great size and there were plenty of sun beds. this is probably the first hotel I've stayed at where the indoor pool was free to use which was nice. the pool bar was great and the bar staff were efficient even when it was busy. The night bar was alright but the tables were a bit sticky and the sofas were looking a bit tired, there wasn't a lot of seating available so when it was busy people had to stand. Staff reading the reviews before we went we were expecting borderline rude staff, but this was definitely not what we found. all the staff were really pleasant, and the front desk were very helpful with any questions we had. learning how to say please and thank you in Bulgarian is a good way to earn some respect from locals (ie shop keepers) the entertainment team were great and put on some great shows, during the day they would make an effort to interact with the guests and encourage them to join in with games. Overall We both really enjoyed our time in Bulgaria and would definitely consider this hotel again if we return :)More
Not 4 star
Myself and my husband have just returned home after spending a week at festa panorama. Nice hotel but needs improvement Luke warm food and very repetitive. Pool snack bar food was the same every day. The bar ran out of glasses in the evening so we had to have plastic cups and the queue was ridiculous. Most of The staff at this hotel struggled to smile Although the bell boy was very pleasant so we gave him a tip and the end of our stay. Swimming pool had algae at the bottom of it so not sure how often if at all is was cleaned! We enjoyed our trip to Bulgaria and will return but not to this hotel. More
Not a 4 stars hotel
4 stars hotel? I would hardly give it 3 stars. Negative: - Staff incredibly blunt and didn’t have any answers for the simplest questitions - Some catering members are so rude it's unbelievable - No costumer service standards - Outdoors pool really dirty and cold - Indoor pool is a chemical bath - Bad quality food and repetitive - Fridge in our room doesn't work - Showerhead in our bathroom isn't functional - Bathroom smells like sewer -Room cleaning services useless... they just make the bed - Wi-Fi doesn't work outside Positive: -Walking distance to the old town of Nessebar and sunny beach -Nice spacious room -Lovely views from the poolside Wouldn't come back or recommend this hotel. Nice but boring
Nice hotel helpful staff walking distance to a nice beach but a lack of evening entertainment made it very boring at night. What there is is placed in a very small hall at the bottom of the hotel which was very hot even on a cool evening, and a terrible lack of sitting, a few bench seats and high stalls, which even with only about 15- 20 ppl was impossible to be seated. Surrounding area didn't have any bars suitable for an entertaining family evening either. Very disappointing. More
