In keeping with Bruges’ fairytale beauty, the Flanders Hotel is housed in an old stately townhouse in the centre of the city. In among the cobbled streets and gabled houses, the hotel is the ideal place to see the city on foot. It’s five minutes to the Belfry and the upmarket shops in and around Markt Square. And even closer is Burg Square where you can browse the Wednesday market and shop like a local.

And so is the breakfast. As well as the Continental range of freshly baked breads, fruit juices and coffee, you can have crispy bacon and scrambled eggs.
