An introduction to Riu Palace Pacifico

Due to open in the summer of 2008, the Riu Palace Pacifico is fresh out of its wrapping and raring to go. It's managed to bag a prime spot right on the sands of Puerto de Flamingos beach, which is enough to turn other hotels green with envy. This long stretch of Mexican paradise offers plenty in the way of soft sands, sparkling seas and total peace and quiet. As for the hotel itself, it goes all-out to justify its five star rating. Take the restaurants, for instance. Whether you're in the mood for some swanky Japanese fare, or good ol' sizzling steak, you'll find something to suit your palette. Of course, it's all well and good having great food, but what you really want to know about is the pool, right? Well, this one's a hefty size and comes equipped with a swish Whirlpool Bath. And you'll find plenty of sunbeds and parasols dotted around the sun terrace for when you want to work on your tan. If that sounds like your idea of heaven, we're pretty sure you'll like the hotel spa. You can enjoy a massage from a trained masseuse, or even a makeover at the beauty salon. There's also a sauna and a fully-equipped gym for you to get stuck into. But while the days are about taking it easy, things start to get going as the sun fades. Take your pick from a selection of live music, shows and performances. Or to really let your hair down, hit a few of the hotel bars before heading to the nearby disco to dance until dawn. Once back in your fabulous junior suite room you can relax in the hydromassage bath to ease all those aching muscles. So, you've got great scenery. Great things to do. And great nightlife.
