Great Times

Every one was nice, fun, and attentive to our needs. The buildings and activities where great. This place can be very child friendly or just for couples and you wouldn't even know the difference. I am coming back and would recommend this place to any one.More

Worst expierence ever!

Went with my wife and my 2 kids (4y and 2y) to our friends wedding from june 23 to june 30. The room was spacious, the gardens beautiful but the most important thing that we always look in choosing a hotel is service attitude and food quality, both were terrible. Sincerely one of the worsts experience ive ever lived in my life concerning all inclusives. The main restaurants (Flavours and The Beach Restaurants) are 3000 ft away from each other (300 meters), with limited time to get something to eat and limited persons to attend. Everyday no matter if it was brakefast or dinner the waiting time to be attended was of between 25 and 45 min. While seated most of the waiters have the specific order to attend only their assigned tables, they are rude with the answers to any petition made by the gustes and they solve nothing. The food in the Flavours buffet was most of the time cold, flavorless and one of the most important things, the poor quality of the food was so evident. The food looked like it was from day before and refrigerated and "warmed up" before serving. The japanese restaurant is a la cart with no reservation needed. We tried to enter and as always, was crowed but with some empty tables! After asking the manager he told us that those tables were from some guests. I tried to "fight" to be attended but the rude attitude and the firmly answer of the japanese manager make me hesitate and leave with my family to the terrible Flavours. The distance between the lobby and the rooms is of 1500 ft, the distance between the rooms and the beach is of between 1500 ft and 2000 ft apart. We tried several times to stop the golf carts that passed in our room, or in our way to the beach, but commonly the driver was always giving a ride to a fellow partner (employee of the hotel) and they normally they refused to assist us and told us that they had some assignments to do. **** I really deduct that the lack of service attitude of most of the employees in this hotel has to be connected directly to the general manager or the director of this hotel. The head of the hotel definitely does not have the minimum idea of the importance of food quality and service. We really had a bad... PROS. The Thai restaurant was with reservation only and a la cart, the food was very very good, made in the moment, well served, in the exact temperature and great flavor. Thumbs up for this restaurant!!! THE SERVICE ATTITUDE OF a great lady MELISSA the bartender of the bar located in the lobby. She had always a smile in her face and everyday she worked and served is if she was attending family! Thanks Melissa! A great lady Ithalia that was always in the beach pool was so helpful and always with a great attitud. Nicolas a waiter in the restaurant at the beach pool, was so capable and a great guy. Alejandro at the front desk, great guy, respectful and with a great attitude. Ill never comeback or go to a KARISMA hotel in my life.More

Excellent Resort

Wonderful vacation at Azul Fives. The complex was very nice and well maintained, it offered a great suite with a comfortable bed and pillows. The gourmet restaurants were very good and offered a wide variety of choices. This resort offers exceptional customer service at restaurants, beach, bars, concierge, and room service. Absolutely superb service, fantastic resort; "It was a pleasure" !

My wife's family and I spent a week at this resort in June 2015, and I have nothing but excellent things to say! There were 14 of us in total between two 3-bedroom suites, and from the moment we arrived, we were served with the white glove treatment. For starters, our butler/concierge, Luca, models exactly what the hospitality industry strives daily for as a whole - top notch delivery and attention to detail, leaves no stone unturned, and his friendly disposition and customer focus is more than any family could ask for, especially when wanting to put their two feet in the sand on vacation and relax. He was thorough, courteous, genuine, funny, and all we could ask for - throughout the week he checked in with us consistently to ensure our plans and inquiries were met. The rest of the staff is also top notch - I commend specifically George (the activities director) and Alejandro (activities associate) for "enhancing" the vacation experience even more, by coordinating playing bocce and volleyball with us, as well as hosting water aerobics sessions, all the while adding flair and humor into each activity (making it that much more enjoyable). Additionally, they keep you aware of all that the resort has to offer during the day and at night - there is PLENTY to do, and these folks work hard and are always smiling and tending to your needs. The wait staff, spa staff and administrative employees are no different - there to please and tell you "its a pleasure" after you thank them. I commend Karisma management for selecting and training the best and brightest to help make their product one of the best and one we will continue coming back to. Other than the excellent service and activities, the resort is phenomenal - accommodations are spacious and easy to maneuver around, the pools are very nice (specifically the infinity pool near the beach, where most of the "action" is at), the beach area is sufficient with comfortable chairs and beds for relaxation purposes, and the restaurants serve delicious food - I specifically was pleased at the Thai and Tapas establishments. All in all an excellent vacation highlighted by an optimal service delivery model and staff. We will be back!More

Wedding

The resort had plenty of pools and was pretty clean. The grounds were well kept. The food was average along with the restaurants. The wedding was fantastic and fun was had by all. We would definitely go again for a wedding, however for just a vacation in Mexico we would stay at hotels we have vacationed at before.More
