It's a huge place set next to Lilliput Beach. And with its own 18-hole Cinnamon Hill golf course, huge pool complex and a bumper line-up of activities, it's much more than just your average beachfront hotel. No wonder people rave about it.

First things first, it's the pool scene that really impresses. For sophisticated settings, head to the main pool. A rectangular affair with great sea views, it comes complete with poolside cabanas. But for water served with a generous helping of fun, it's got to be the waterpark. With a 280-foot waterslide, a lazy river, and even dive-in movies, this place is pretty special. And with two swim-up bars, live music and two whirlpool baths, it's great for adults, too.

But back to the hotel. Design-wise, it's slick and modern, but there are plenty of comfy and cosy areas, too. Bedrooms, meanwhile, are light and airy affairs, decorated in crisp whites and accessorised with king and queen-size beds. What's more, they come with a menu of goodies like satellite TVs, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and air-conditioning.

Last but not least, the food. There are six restaurants here, so whatever style of food you like, there's sure to be something that tempts your tastebuds. For international buffet meals overlooking the pool, Fresh is the place to go. Or for fine dining, make a reservation at the Three Palms restaurant that comes with views over the golf course.
