TripAdvisor reviewers really rate this Bridgetown hotel – it’s on a white-as-snow beach, and comes with a suntrap pool and restaurants serving tasty local food.
A long, sandy beach fronts the Radisson Aquatica. Sunloungers line the talc-white sands, which are washed by waters made for snorkelling. And there’s a pool just above the beach.
The hotel follows the island’s signature rainbow-bright style. From the outside, it’s all sunshine yellow and sea blue. Indoors, meanwhile, lime green feature walls are offset by orange soft furnishings.

Staff Makes This Experience Memorable
We (ages 70 and 66) came to Barbados on honeymoon (yes, truly!!); our first visit there for both, though we often travel internationally. The Radisson Aquatica was chosen by our travel agent, but we could not have done better. Upon arrival we were given either a fruit juice or a rum punch (Barbados is known for rum). We were immediately (and repeatedly) charmed by the capability and friendliness of the hotel staff. Some of the desk clerks and bartenders actually learned our names, and eagerly asked, whenever we returned from an experience they recommended, what we saw and whether we had a good time. This hotel is right on the beach not far south of Bridgetown, a block away from the main street from Bridgetown to the southern shore of the island. If you get tired of the hotel kitchen (which we soon did), try Brown Sugar, a block away, an upscale restaurant offering a variety of Barbadian dishes. A number of tourist attractions are in walking distance from this hotel, including a house rented by George Washington and his brother in 1751, his only trip outside North America. On the grounds of that house there is a delightful cafe serving delicious breakfasts, where you might be visited by a tiny gecko.More

First time in Barbados so was unsure what to expect. The hotel was better than expected, lovely sea view room with 2 double beds which was cleaned every day. Staff very friendly, the girls in the restaurant are wonderful and Adrian behind the bar is a star! The beach is gorgeous with plenty of free sun beds. Unfortunately, the hotel is a little isolated. There are no shops nearby so you have to use the petrol stations down the road for any supplies. Brown Sugar restaurant just down the road from the hotel is very good and the only one nearby. We hired a car for a couple of days through the hotel. Not many road signs once you get off the main roads but beautiful scenery. Harrison Caves is well worth a visit especially if you get Peter as your guide. If you want to feed some monkeys then Barbados wildlife reserve is a must. The only negative point about the hotel is that on our departure day we weren't being picked up until 17.05pm so wanted a late checkout so we could enjoy our last day on the beach but was informed that because the hotel was full to capacity we could only have out room until 13.00pm. This meant that we had to wait around for 4 hours in the hotel dressed for the airport in 30 degree heat! If they can't guarantee you a late check out then there should be at least some shower/changing facilities. Overall would recommend his hotel and will definitely return.More

We were here for the golden oldies cricket tournament. The direct access to the beach was great feature. The beach and water amazing. The staff are wonderfully helpful although in some instances operating on Barbados time. Would come backMore
Nice, Clean, Affordable, with Million dollar views
Stayed here for a week. Love the location right on the beach. most if not all rooms have ocean views. Very clean, Cable news actually was from home which is Miami. Water here is Pristine. Did not eat here as it was cheaper most anywhere else on the island. But I would come back here anytime.More
The view from 405 was amazing
After initial complaints about problems with the bathroom and other issues I was contacted by Cheryl from housekeeping. She quickly set out to solve my problems. She offered me a room with 2 balconies and unlimited water views. I was much happier after that. There is still a little tweaking to noisy air conditioners and paintwork that could make this resort really shine. But overall the fact it sits right on the water allows you to forget its shortcomings. Step out of the foyer right onto the sand. Fabulous.More
