TripAdvisor reviewers really rate this Bridgetown hotel – it’s on a white-as-snow beach, and comes with a suntrap pool and restaurants serving tasty local food.
A long, sandy beach fronts the Radisson Aquatica. Sunloungers line the talc-white sands, which are washed by waters made for snorkelling. And there’s a pool just above the beach.
The hotel follows the island’s signature rainbow-bright style. From the outside, it’s all sunshine yellow and sea blue. Indoors, meanwhile, lime green feature walls are offset by orange soft furnishings.

We couldn't have wished for a more perfect location. Best beach on the south coast. Bridge town within a 15 minute beach side walk. Located near the garrison and race course. Bathing of the horses each morning is an amazing site to see. Overall we had an amazing stay.More
Great setting, good food, loved the BBQ on the beach. Georgous view along beach, both ways. Excellent beds and bathroom facilities. Staff always polite and helpful. Taxi service to and from hotel were very good. Weather fantastic, few warm showers, but soon gone. The gap just down the road has an abundance of restaurants and bars etc, all very nice. More
2 week Honeymoon - 2 day stay at Raddison
2 week honeymoon in Barbados, starting from south end to west end of Island with a few different hotels along the way. Stayed 2 days at the Radisson, hotel was ok, beach was nice, small pool with limited chairs, alot of boat and jet ski activity, hesitant to snorkel out or swim very far from shore, Cuzz fish shack around the corner is awesome. Management meet and greet Monday night was nice, we were able to chat with some lovely people. Walked over to Hilton for a few drinks during the day which was nice. We upgraded room to Ocean front but was only on second floor with limited view, small let down, also was a beach party one night next door with loud music blasting into our 2nd floor upgraded unit until 1am on a Tuesday, wife and I woke up with headaches and not from the Rum Punches or Banks beers, staff shrugged shoulders at check out - too bad / so sad. If we stay in this area of Barbados again, Hilton all the way.More
Good, perfect location.
Hotel in general very nice, people in reception could be more serviceminded. If you are afraid of birds you can not use the restaurant as the fly in and out as they wish. They are very cheeky and goes direct for your left over at your dish if you leave your table. Food is very good. Very good location close to a nice Beach and in walking distance to Bridgetown center and habour (25 minuttes) - taxi takes 10 minuttes and costs approx 20 BBD. Close by a restaurant: Brown Sugar serves good food also. Nearby gas station can supply you with Water, sandwiches, chips, sweets etc. Quite expensive place to live and eat.More

Nice people - poor hotel!
This is a poor and tired hotel, which was full when we stayed, which didn't help. Mostly helpful staff (although some of the women are rather blunt!) and the beach is nice. But where do I start on the hotel? Firstly it doesn't look much like the photos on the Radisson website. For a start the area of the end of the 'pier' is closed and derelict - has been for some time. Much of the furniture in the public areas is tired and staff do not keep public areas clean when the hotel is full and struggle to clear tables in the restaurant quickly. Poor food choices in the restaurant (breakfast is OK). Nowhere in the hotel to get a coffee or tea! There is simply not enough room in public areas. We were given a room on the north side and found there was a bar next door with VERY loud music outside playing until late - did get moved to a room on the other side after a couple of days. Our first room was not very clean - the second was better, but the rooms are not great and the aircon is noisy - turned it off in the end. The hotel seems to offer lots of business events and weddings - there were 5 or 6 in the time we were there (only 5 nights). I suspect they take advantage of the fact that most people don't eat there in the evenings, despite many being on half board! They also seem to have a contract with some of the airlines for aircrew accommodation (must be cheap!). So all in all the staff are very often distracted in the evenings with other things. The beach in front of the hotel is very busy from the business next door, especially at the weekend. This beach is good for swimming but if you walk to the end (by the Hilton) it's a bit dirty with lots of litter. You cannot access the beach to the north (towards the town) from the hotel, which is odd - you have to walk around to the main road and go through the yacht club! The local area between the hotel and the town is not great, but if you walk south from the hotel along the main road you come to the Garrison area and then Hastings, Worthing and Christ Church, which are much nicer. Overall this hotel is definitely not in line with any other 4 star hotel I have ever stayed in - more 2 star - and in the UK would be breaking the trade descriptions act!More
