All aboard the pirate ship as we set sail for the Souda Gulf, one of Crete’s most striking beauty spots. Here, rugged mountains frame a 15-kilometre-long inlet of sparkling waters and islets topped with Venetian ruins. You’ll have the chance to relax and take in the scenery before the boat drops anchor at Almyrida beach. Backed by a traditional fishing village, this sandy strip is known for its clear, shallow waters. Back on board, you’ll sail by the Drepano cave, a shadowy sea grotto which was only discovered in 1999. Then, it’s off to the almost wave-less beach of Marathi, where there’ll be more free time to soak up the sunshine. A traditional Greek lunch will be served onboard.
