‘To infinity and beyond…’ Today, you’ll find out what it takes to become a real-life astronaut, with a behind-the-scenes look at the action at the Kennedy Space Centre. Little ones can even find out what they’ll need to become a NASA employee. Enjoy a walk down the Astronaut Hall of Fame and a look at the Space Shuttle Launch Pads from a four-storey observation gantry. Plus, you’ll journey back to the days of Neil Armstrong, the first man ever to take a step on the moon. You’ll also gaze up at the massive Saturn V moon rocket, and imagine how it feels to soar into space. Make sure your little astronauts experience the Children’s Play Dome before you go, where they can lift off in a spacecraft, climb a moon rock wall and slide down the surface of the moon.
