This hotel sits on a white sandy beach, so you’ll have great views of the sea from your lounger. It’s also just a two-minute walk to the Klong Muang Plaza.
The best thing about the Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort is that it has a textbook beach right outside. The sands are home to a chilled-out bar, and the calm sea is ideal for kayaking and snorkelling.
Some of the rooms come with their own plunge pool, and a luxury free-standing bath tub. You’ll also have a private balcony which overlooks the pretty mangroves.

Amazing location, great pools and beach
Checked in late after arriving from Chiang Mai. Checkin was very smooth, and they were even able to accommodate a late check out request. Room was spotless, and well equiped. Had a minor issue with the in room safe (batteries were low). Rang the reception and someone was there and had the issue fixed within 10 minutes. Spacious grounds which are well maintained. Best feature though has to be the amazing pools and beach. Ideal if you want to chill and relax in a beautiful setting. Some minor issues on staff attentiveness in the bars and restaurants, but still had a wonderful time here and would love to go back. One tip - book a taxi to the airport from one of the taxi companies just outside. You can negotiate a price with them (I negotiated down from 800 Baht to 600 Baht very easily) and this is much cheaper than the 1200 baht quoted by the hotel supplier.More
Very, very pleased with the entire experience! Started off great, with the room set up perfectly for our group of three -- two beds, with an extra for our son. They even prepared the bathroom properly, with three of each type of towel and three toothbrushes. Very rare and so appreciated! Loved the expansive grounds - beautiful, clear water...perfect for lounging, playing, and swimming. Beach, too, was excellent - clean with plenty of loungers. I didn't spend much time at the two pools, but my children had a lot of fun in both! The breakfast was excellent -- lovely buffet. Best parts: fresh fruits, banana bread, made-to-order pancakes, waffles cooked fresh. Sure beats ordinary buffets with cold or room temperature waffles and pancakes. Plenty of selection. You can even get hot chocolate with your breakfast, no extra charge. Lots of activities available, both complimentary and for-a-fee. Resort guests have one hour complimentary use of the kayaks - do it!! The sea is calm - we actually were out for an hour and 40 minutes!! We thoroughly enjoyed our Mandara spa experience - professional, friendly service and sooo relaxing. Those ladies are definitely customer service oriented, and want each guest to feel pampered and special. Very soothing experience! We tried the Indian Head Massage, Balinese Massage, and Luk Prakob Hot Compress Massage. Happily, it was buy three, get one free, so we enjoyed an extra Balinese Massage for our family. What a treat! Dining options are great - prices are quite reasonable. We enjoyed the Thai/Indian offerings at Malati with perfect outdoor dining, as well as a few pizzas at Limoncello. The service at the Thai/Indian restaurant (Malati) was truly superb! We've also stayed at the Amari Vogue in Krabi, and while the room furnishings there are superior, the overall resort grounds and offerings are much better at the Dusit Thani. I'm pretty confident you will not be disappointed!More
My boyfriend and I spent 11 nights here beginning of March and if I could use one word to describe the hotel it would be peaceful. We hugely enjoyed our stay and couldn't have asked for more from the hotel! The room - we were in the block closest to reception (suited us as we went out every night) well appointed and always clean and made up before we returned between 4-5pm. Most nights someone came and knocked on our door to see if we needed anything else for the room - great service! The grounds - beautiful! I've never been to a resort like it with so much greenery. Thank you to all the gardeners who work tirelessly in the heat so we can enjoy the grounds. The pools - both infinity pools are nice but we preferred coco Vida pool. Thank you for not playing music constantly, the nicest thing was being able to hear the waves while we we still by the pool. Never had a problem getting a lounger or towels even when we returned from a morning trip. The beach - as private as they come really, lovely white sand and tempted us pool dwellers away more than once. The ocean is clear and the sand white. Lots of seashells as well :) The food - we stayed b&b so mostly ate outside the hotel but we always enjoyed the breakfast offering. I loved the pancake designs! We ate in the hotel twice for dinner, once on the pizza/pasta night and once for the beach BBQ, we greatly enjoyed both and feel like we got value for money. A few times we ate by the pool for lunch and really enjoyed the wraps and hot dogs. I did the cooking class at Mangosteens and it was fantastic. Prapas was very patient with me and answered all my questions about the ingredients. The food was also delicious! Location - one night we took the shuttle to Ao Nang but I was glad to be away from the hustle and bustle for our stay. Plenty of restaurants and massage places within minutes of walking outside the resort and a 7/11 which was very handy. Overall we loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from it all.More

This hotel is set in amazing grounds the gardening staff work so hard, we booked in with the club lounge, the staff were amazing but have to say the food let it down, very much the same every day would have been nice to have soft drinks round pool area instead of having to walk back to lounge, but overall a lovely hotel More

This is a huge resort, the grounds are massive and go for miles. Luckily they have handy golf buggies to ferry you around if you find the walk too much and too hot! They come very quickly when called. The rooms are a great size, well appointed and beds are extremely comfortable. Air con works very well too. If you are on the second or third floor there is a lift so no need to use stairs. Perfect resort for people of all ages. The beach in front of the resort is beautiful, very clear water and very swimmable, there is a roped off area for swimming which is great. There are two pools, one of which is meant to be adults only but kids use it all the time which is very annoying. No one enforces it so kids just do what they want. One complaint I must mention about the Malati pool is there is a lot of algae on the tiles in the pool everywhere. It needs a really good scrub and one part of the pool where you get in is very slippery and some one is bound to have a fall eventually if they don't do something about it. In a hotel of this standard I would expect the pool to be exceptionally clean and efficiently maintained. My friend got an ear infection from the bacteria in the pool which was extremely disappointing. Aside from these issues, both pools are gorgeous and the view is to die for. There are even lap lanes in the pool for swimming enthusiasts. Heaps of sun loungers both around the two pools as well as on the grass under shady trees and on the beach, no need to reserve them at the crack of dawn as you will always find one. Lots is activities on offer from yoga to Muay Thai to water aerobics and kayaking. Some free and some have a small charge. The staff at this resort are wonderful, very friendly and attentive and always there to be of assistance. Outside the resort there are many local restaurants and massage shops both right outside to the right of the entrance and also if you turn left and walk about 10 mins down the road even better selection of restaurants and beachside bars that are pretty funky. Worth the walk, otherwise a taxi out the front of the resort can drive you down the road for 100 baht. Speaking of taxis they are abundant right out the front and can take you anywhere, very easy. Taxi drivers Sonny and Kim are both locals, very friendly, born and raised in Krabi and speak perfect English. They took us to Ao Nang and to Krabi Town. Even waited and brought us back. Great service. For any fans of The Hangover movies, this is the place where they filmed the hotel arrival scene when it was Sheraton. Overall a wonderful resort and great for families, couples and anyone really who wants a chilled out holiday away from the hustle and bustle.More
