With a handy location just 15 minutes’ walk from Ao Nang’s beach and main street, the Apasari Hotel is an ideal base for a Thai getaway. If you’re staying in, there’s a pool and restaurant on hand, too.
The Apasari Hotel sits down a quiet side street, so you can expect plenty of peace and quiet. You’re not far from the action, though. A 15-minute walk will bring you to Ao Nang’s main street. It’s lined with cafés, restaurants and shops, and leads down to the golden sandy beach.
Rooms are light and airy, with dark-wood furniture, floaty white drapes and embroidered cushions. They each come with a balcony, too.
Downstairs, there’s a big, open-sided restaurant – expect pancakes, cooked-to-order eggs and cereals at breakfast, and a mix of international favourites and Thai dishes for lunch and dinner.
The pool is a long, rectangular number, with in-water seats and a trio of fountains at one end. Running along one edge is a sun terrace, laid out with smart loungers and purple parasols, and behind that you’ll find a small pool for children.

Nice apart from the staff
The hotel is in a good location - close to 2 beaches. The further away one (turn left at the bottom of the road) is the nicer beach by far. The room was nice, good size and clean. Only thing was the smell of dampness which didn't disappear in the 6 nights I was there. Not sure if it was the air con or something. On the topic of air con, it was VERY noisy so perhaps take ear plugs if you're bothered by noise when sleeping. The wifi absolutely does not work in the rooms. I asked about this an was told to only use reception wifi which of course only works at reception. What really let the hotel was the staff. The was extremely rude and disinterested. The were more concerned about being on their phones - which they were ALL the time - than doing anything else. I approached the desk one day as I had injured my eye and couldn't see properly and asked for a taxi to the medical centre. The girl simply pointed across the road to a tuk tuk and didn't say anything else. You had to stand at the desk for a few minutes before anyone bothered to look up from their phones and give you any attention - ridiculous. At one of point there was 5 girls all on reception just sitting looking at their phones. Probably wouldn't stay again. Much better options in the resort.More
My friend and I backpacked around Thailand for a couple of weeks and wanted to stay somewhere nice but not too expensive and Apasari Krabi definitely fit the bill! It was a very nice room with lots of space and great air conditioning! Pool was perfect for afternoon reading (it does shade over at around 3pm though) and the breakfast service was fantastic. It is in a great location and within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the beaches at Ao Nang. The only downside to this hotel would be that the staff aren't overly friendly.More
I stayed here in November 2016 with my partner for 2 weeks. After such a long journey we were pleased to have arrived. Check in was quick and efficient no problems what so ever. We were even upgraded to a deluxe room on the top floor. We stayed in room 502 - which gave amazing views of the mountains and the pool was directly below us. Our room was fresh and clean and fridge was stocked daily with water and fresh fruit. The pool was clean and never over croweded. We stayed here on a bed and breakfast basis - however the breakfast werent that great and we decided after eating at the breakfast twice , to just go out and have a fry up at a local restaurant. The hotel is on a street filled with bars , restaurants and local ammentities such as a pharmacy and supermarket. Its in a great location with the beach only being a 5-10 minute walk a way. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Ive read a lot of reviews about WIFI being rubbish. Its not the case we never had any issues with it. Thank you to the staff for making our stay memorable :)More

Value for money, comfortable stay
Good: Comfy bed, wifi strength was decent at Room 217 but you have to keep logging in each time you come back. They upgraded us to a pool view room which was nicer than a street-facing one. Quieter, and definitely more aesthetically pleasing when we opened the curtains in the morning! Our room was in a quiet wing, but not sure if it was due to the fact that it was low season. Nice pool. It is very near a good gym, Heroic Fitness Club, at the nearby Nagapura Resort. Lots of eateries nearby provided good options for days when we were lazy to head over to the main stretch. Short walk from Andy The Tailor! It's a little further from the beach - about 15mins walk, not 5-10mins as advertised. But it's quite an easy walk, so we didn't mind. Bad: The air conditioning unit was difficult to control. It was either too cold or too warm and this is a 1°C difference adjustment on the thermostat! The service is a little impersonal but it's fine by any standards.More
Great value, quiet location, very clean.
Location was great for us. About 10mins walk to main beach or 5 mins from other beach so good quieter location away from busy main strip. Walk to beach passes lots of tourist shops and a great street food market or a tuktuk is 100b or less. Rooms all face the pool, ours was a good size, spotlessly clean and the bed and pillows were really comfy. Modern bathroom with large shower and bath. Pool is great, clean and sunny in the mornings. Restaurant has buffet breakfast which was decent although rather too warm. Staff were fine but not overly friendly compared to other places we stayed. More
