If you’re after an active holiday, this popular hotel is a great choice. As well as a whopping eight tennis courts, it boasts three squash courts, an archery range and a mini-golf course. Factor in a gym and a good selection of watersports, and there’s enough to keep sports fans busy for weeks.

If swimming and sunbathing are more your thing, pick a spot by the large palm-lined pool. The beach is just metres away, too.

As for the hotel itself, it’s a large whitewashed building surrounded by greenery. Inside, things are pretty traditional, with marble floors and elegant chandeliers taking centre-stage in the lobby. The bedrooms, meanwhile, are simply decorated. Whitewashed walls come as standard, while patterned wall tiles add a North African touch.

The main restaurant is just as good-looking, with soft drapes, arched walkways and violet chairs giving it an almost palatial feel. In terms of food, expect large buffets with plenty of Tunisian and international dishes on offer. There’s also a snack bar by the pool, serving up light meals during the day.

Last but not least, the hotel is in a handy spot for exploring the area – Sousse is just a ten-minute walk along the beach.
