This hotel is right on the beach. It has a Thomson Kids’ Club, and three pools to pick from, too.
This huge hotel has nabbed a secluded spot, on the edge of a sandy beach. It’s geared around families – there’s a pool with colourful waterslides, and a pool just for kids. A Thomson Kids’ Club is the icing on the cake.
If you fancy exploring, it’s less than 25 minutes’ drive to Sousse’s medina and souk, and around the same distance to buzzing Monastir.

Great family holiday
Spent a week in this resort in October. Direct flight from Newcastle to Enfidha Airport. Great variety of food. Kids club very friendly- they wanted to go every day. Great pools and bars all over the resort. Rooms somewhat basic but clean and comfortable. There are free shuttles to Port el kantaoui and Monastir which are worth a few hours visit.More

Nice hotel but be warned
We stayed in the Skanes Family Resort in June 2014. The Hotel was lovely the layout was good the rooms were spacious and clean (although the beds were so hard we might as well have slept on the tiled floor) and the facilities everything we had hoped for. The housekeeping and waiting staff were all courteous, helpful and friendly. However be warned, we were placed in a room between two families with very young babies and for five nights we have constant crying in stereo. We finally decided to approach our Thompson Rep, who just passed the buck to the hotel manager. He pointed out this sort of thing happens and that it was just out misfortune. If we were really unhappy he could move us for £500 for the remainder of our two weeks. As far as customer service goes this was pretty low on the all time register of poor customer service. Having spent nearly £3000 on a holiday surely one expects the hotel you are staying in to make sure you are able to relax. Something impossible with two babies crying through the night. The second issue. Thompson appear to have a Russian tour company and this hotel was full of Russian's. I do not consider myself a racist but having spent two weeks with a group of people devoid of any manners or social skills, I will try and avoid hotels catering for Russian's in future. If you think this harsh this is some of our experience. A French family who were in the sunbeds near us, went to lunch and a group of Russian's decided this was a better location than they were so they just come and dumped the French families towels, clothing and other possessions on to the floor. That being close to the pool the floor was wet, even more so after the Russian's had been in the pool and walked back over the gear they have dumped. When the family returned they just acted like bullies. In the restaurant they ignored any queues for freshly prepared items such a pancakes for breakfast. One morning whilst queuing for her pancakes my eight year old was pushed aside by a middle aged Russian man, resulting in her dropping the other items she was carrying. I having rushed over, this guy was totally remorseless and pretended not to speak English. His rouse soon ended when the Chef preparing the pancakes, refused to serve him and told him to go to the end of the queue and suggested he apologise to my daughter. Suddenly he has some very choice English words at his disposal. The other wonderful habit of the Russian's was to empty the contents of the Restaurant fruit baskets in to bags they carried with them, leaving non for the other guests. Allowing their children to run riot in the bar and lounge area in the evening and no reaction what so ever when a table was upturned and the drinks upon it ended up on one of the people sitting by the table. The poor English family had tried to chastise the Russian kids, several times as they jumped across the seats and run around. One last thing, in the Thompson briefing you will be heavily encouraged to take their excursions over the ones organised by Ali Barbar. We took a couple of the Ali Barbar tours and the scare mongering of Thompson was bogus, we have a great time. Along with all the other guest on the excursions Ali made sure we were all well catered for and that the day was tremendous fun. I would highly recommend Ail's tours to everyone. More

15 pictures for £90!!!!
this review has nothing to do with my stay at skanes family resort as me and my family had a lovely time and have even booked up for next year. I am really heartbroken that we had the professional photographs that are based at the skanes family resort take some pictures of the family and extended family we invited along with us. And yes we paid £90 english cash to have the photographs (about 200+) put onto disk and i have kept the disk to give to the great grandmother of the family for christmas and yes you guessed right only 15 photos are on the disk and ones that are blurry am gutted so lots of holiday pictures were not taken by us as the professional photographer was taking them. i will never fall for this again what a joke!!!! nothing i can do now though not like they will do anything about itMore
