If you’re a fan of the Great Outdoors, you’ll love this place. Not only is it set on a long ribbon of sand, but it’s surrounded by 22 hectares of manicured gardens, too. And with four outdoor swimming pools and several al fresco dining options, there’s plenty of opportunity to soak up the surroundings.

The main pool steals the show – it’s enormous, and comes with all the trimmings like palm trees, little islands and a surrounding terrace. It’s a really lively spot, too, with games and competitions held during the day. Plus just around the corner you’ll find a basketball court and a mini-golf course.

When it comes to eating and drinking, there’s plenty of choice. The main restaurant serves up international buffets, while the à la carte pizzeria does a mean line in Italian dishes. For more casual meals, the pool bar and beach café offer up light bites in lovely outdoor settings.

As for the hotel itself, it’s made up of three whitewashed buildings separated by landscaped lawns. The bedrooms are light and spacious, with neutral walls brightened up by coloured soft furnishings. Extras come in the form of air-conditioning and good-sized balconies which look out over the sea or the gardens.

we recently got back from sahara beach, we found the holiday to be great. although the rooms did not have a tv we found them to be very clean and were very comfy, our rep baz was very helpful always answering any questions or quries we had. the gardens... more on this review
