Riad Catalina
In Marrakech, the Riad Catalina will be your base for 3 days. Built in the 18th century, this property has been sympathetically restored, with traditional patterned tiles and stone archways throughout. The focal point is the central courtyard garden, with its rose petal-filled fountain and twisted orange trees. Candlelit meals are served here in the evening, and you can also eat breakfast out here, too. Lastly, this riad has just 12 bedrooms and 3 suites, so it has a boutique feel.

In terms of position, it’s tucked in among the winding backstreets in the city centre, with Jemaa El Fna square and the medina less than a 10-minute stroll away. The rooftop pool makes the most of the location, offering views of Koutoubia Mosque and the Atlas Mountains beyond.

Riad Al Madina
After your stay in Marrakech, you’ll be at Essaouira’s Riad Al Madina for 4 days. In terms of location, it’s in the old town, a stone’s throw from the old city walls. Essaouira’s beach, which is lined with traditional restaurants and small art galleries, is a 5-minute walk away – local artists often set up their easels on the sand.

Like the Riad Catalina, it’s a historic property. It was built in 1871, and has a classic layout of 2 storeys wrapped around a central courtyard. Here, you’ll find stonework arches, plants trailing down from balconies, and a mosaic-tiled fountain. Inside, each bedroom and suite is slightly different, but all follow tradition with things like arched alcoves and warm-coloured soft furnishings. Some suites have beds on a mezzanine level.

We've got it all covered, included in the price of all twin centres is the transfers between hotels and the airport, as well as between the 2 hotels you'll be spending your stay in.
