The pool here is a real trend-setter, with an abstract shape and islands scattered with palm trees. It's a huge number, surrounded by a spacious sun terrace where you can spend your day relaxing on one of the sunbeds. For a bit of luxury, chillout on a Balinese sunbed. There's even a heated section in winter for year-round swimming.
La Caravane international buffet*
Start your day with breakfast from the wide buffet selection on offer. Enjoy dinner in restaurant or al fresco on the terrace. The buffet features tastes from around the world, with flavours from China, France, Italy and Morocco all making an appearance.
L'Arganier Mediterranean restaurant*
Enjoy an al fresco lunch on the terrace. The menu is deliciously Mediterranean, with salads, sandwiches and grilled dishes on offer. Make sure you reserve your table so you don't miss out.

Fab place to relax with family
Back here after 10 years. This time with eldest - now 11! Youngest (8) is enjoying too. Great facilities and nice to have a bit of luxury at the end of our holiday touring Morocco. Staff very attentive and pool, table tennis and volleyball going down well with the offspring :) More

Holiday with kids
Great place where I actually was able to read a book! Kids were thrilled with pool as was my partner. I was thrilled with beach and location. Food great, staff were so warm and welcoming. Rooms on the small side and TV basic which they could improve but otherwise a great, great stay.More
The effortless charm and elegance of Sofitel... (Agadir Royal Bay Resort)
To mark my Wife's birthday, we have just returned from spending 4 nights at the Sofitel, Agadir Royal Bay. What struck me most is the effortless charm and elegance of the personnel despite the property itself being surrounded in the most beautiful grounds leading to a private beach. It is true that I tend to lean on the 'Sofitel' brand and network quite a bit on my family travels having stayed in Dubai, Paris, Lisbon etc. This particular venue however just encapsulates everything that is right and fair about a 5 star establishment. Travelling with my 3 year old daughter somehow sparked the staff to really plough on the intimacy and attentiveness, which was delivered with absolute sincerity. My particular thanks goes out to Youssef (concierge) and Fatim Zahar (front of house). True ambassadors with a real drive to make a difference. Needless to say, we will most certainly be back.More
