The pool here is a real trend-setter, with an abstract shape and islands scattered with palm trees. It's a huge number, surrounded by a spacious sun terrace where you can spend your day relaxing on one of the sunbeds. For a bit of luxury, chillout on a Balinese sunbed. There's even a heated section in winter for year-round swimming.
La Caravane international buffet*
Start your day with breakfast from the wide buffet selection on offer. Enjoy dinner in restaurant or al fresco on the terrace. The buffet features tastes from around the world, with flavours from China, France, Italy and Morocco all making an appearance.
L'Arganier Mediterranean restaurant*
Enjoy an al fresco lunch on the terrace. The menu is deliciously Mediterranean, with salads, sandwiches and grilled dishes on offer. Make sure you reserve your table so you don't miss out.

We have visited Morocco before but thought we would try Agadir this time around in search of much needed winter sun, and we wasn't disappointed. The weather was superb and this was a great resort to experience it in. We had already decided that this was going to be a "lay by the pool and do nothing" break and so we probably didn't make the most of this hotels facilities of which there are many. There are several restaurants although our favourite was La Nasse where we had an amazing steak and sea bass. The pool bars are great for during the day serving everything you need to enable you to stay by the pool for the whole day, which is just what we did! The beach is great for an early evening stroll...not as many restaurants or shops along the waterfront as I thought there would be...mainly other hotels. I had thought that we would eat out at least one night, but unless I missed something the choice was limited within walking distance. Service is okay, the staff are very friendly, but you do get the distinct impression that nationals are given the 5* service and are waited on hand and foot. We did have to chase on more than one occasion to get our orders fulfilled. If I wanted a shot of vitamin D in the winter again, I have no doubt that Morocco will be top of my list, and if it's in Agadir Sofitel would be my first choice. More
Great week in Agadir
We visited the Royal Bay to get some sun and relaxation. This hotel gave us this with super weather great food and above all the most friendly people. We spent most of our time around the hotel and beach. The buffet food at breakfast and dinner was excellent with a wide choice on all dishes. Alcohol drinks are limited and quite expensive, but generally of good quality. We met so many friendly people in the dining room, the bar manager Thami most helpful and superstar. The girls in the spa were great also all the guys at the beachside restaurant. Special thank you to Said for breakfast and dinner service. We will definitely return. M/L.More

Pulling up to the hotel its absolutely amazing, the staff are immaculately dressed, very welcoming, faultless. Everything in reception seemed to be done at a snails pace, check in, problem with the safe, check out. Restaurant staff are friendly especially Amal she's fantastic will do anything for you. If you are ordering Moroccan tea don't expect it straight away because it takes a while to make. We went all inclusive after a few days because the food was so nice. The week we were there, there was a conference which took up the restaurant at dinner time, we had to use the other restaurant which there wasn't enough room for everybody and because it was the way out to the pool your food was cold by the time you sat down as the door was open. That happened for 2 nights and 1 day for lunch outside we couldn't have any because this group took over the outside area. Another thing is it doesn't include drinks at The Riad which is crazy because if you come out after your dinner and want to have a drink and listen to entertainment if there is any you have to pay. As another reviewer said I never saw any food menus being offered around there either. We only ever went to the beach which is gorgeous altogether, the lads working down there are so nice and would do anything to help you. Here's the thing we stayed for 1 week/7 days and OUR BED WAS NEVER CHANGED!!!!! The floor was never swept but the towels were changed and we got water and chocolate every evening. Personally I'd have preferred a clean bed! I would say if you are going to stay here get a room with a balcony because with the lack of entertainment and the TV's only having France24 in English as the only English speaking channel, there's not much to do! I am definitely going back to Agadir but I will not be staying here. We have told a manager this but he wasn't too bothered he just said that we will be back to stay there again, I don't think so!!More

Take me back!
I wasn't sure about Agadir as a vacation but my daughter insisted. I'm so glad I listened to her: the hotel was wonderful, better than I could have anticipated! Amazing food, super friendly and helpful staff, great service throughout. I will definitely go back to enjoy another week whenever I can. Only slight disappointment: the variety of the food offer around the pool at lunchtime. Other than that, all was wonderful, truly. More
