The pool here is a real trend-setter, with an abstract shape and islands scattered with palm trees. It's a huge number, surrounded by a spacious sun terrace where you can spend your day relaxing on one of the sunbeds. For a bit of luxury, chillout on a Balinese sunbed. There's even a heated section in winter for year-round swimming.
La Caravane international buffet*
Start your day with breakfast from the wide buffet selection on offer. Enjoy dinner in restaurant or al fresco on the terrace. The buffet features tastes from around the world, with flavours from China, France, Italy and Morocco all making an appearance.
L'Arganier Mediterranean restaurant*
Enjoy an al fresco lunch on the terrace. The menu is deliciously Mediterranean, with salads, sandwiches and grilled dishes on offer. Make sure you reserve your table so you don't miss out.

I writing to recognize the high standard followed by staff in this great establishment where I spend a few days there, the staff was always smiling and helpful, the rooms was clean with wonderful view to the swimming pool. The Ramadan Iftar was outstanding and it exceeded my expectations good job and keep it up. And I would recognize Loubna at the reception and the hostess at the main restaurant for their great customer service.More
We had a very relaxing time at the Sofitel we were Ext door 15 years ago so a lot has changed in Agadir .. The food was exceptional fromdelicios European food to fantastic Tagines and all different types of breads and deserts really good. We booked a classic room which does not have a balcony we didn't realize so I asked to be upgraded and they gave us a lovely terrace room just check when you book might be cheaper to do it when you're booking as this cost an extra 4-500 dirams per day which is about £40/£50... I personally need outside space there were nothing wrong with the rooms I just like sitting outside they have a sliding window that's all. Staff were all lovely from the cleaners bottle water delivery at 4 with a handmade chocolate.. chefs waiters Reception staff all in all we really enjoyed it. We went half board so we had breakfast and dinner.. you can buy lunch etc but works out about £20/£30.. wine from £20... There is also a really good restaurant at the marina called PURE PASSION fine dining delicious seafood and Fish steaks not too expensive if you fancy a change or lunch.. we walked all the way down the front to the marina 45 min walk or you can get a taxi but say 30 dirams when you get in which is about £2.50/£3 ENJOY we did!!More
Overall a disappointing stay. Nothing 5 star about this hotel, other than the price. The rooms are outdated (they call it 'traditional'), terribly lumpy mattress, food from previous guest in the fridge (old cheese) and when mentioned to the reception staff...they replied 'oh, really?' well take care of it but nothing. The price is extraordianary for what they offer, Euro 293 for 2 nights and Iftar buffet for 290 dirham (ca 29 euro) per person. Never again.More
I had one of my best holidays staying at Sofitel Agadir. The hotel itself is grand and impressive - fantastic mix between modern and traditional. The pool area is great to relax in with a drink or some lunch. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they seem to know who you are within your first day and don't forget you for the rest of your trip! The breakfast was incredible, fantastic range of food from fresh fruit and bread to crepes and doughnuts! I really, really enjoyed it and will definitely will stay here again if I come to Agadir.More
Perfect place to rest
We went there in January 2017. The weather was perfect. Only the pool was freezing. Hopefully there is a warm pool too. The surfing was great. Wonderfull waves just in front of the hotel. (Probably the best waves of Agadir). We had a suite. Amazing for us and our 3 children.More
