Of course, a holiday here isn't confined to the coastline. Once you've caught a glimpse of the hotel pool, the beach may become a distant memory. Forget the usual kidney-shaped affairs – this is three large freeform pools linked together. It twists and turns through the resort like a liquid snake, offering plenty of space for swimmers and sunbathers. It may be a bit big for really little ones, so they've got their own pool to splash in. And with plenty in the way of palm trees, plants and greenery, you've pretty much got the pool from heaven.
That aside, the restaurants are pretty special too. Here, you can sample dishes from around the world without leaving the Kenyan sunshine. And naturally, they all offer top notch a la carte menus. Down on the beach you'll find La Bella Vita, which has a fine line in Italian dishes. Next door, the Bahaini serves up a huge range of freshly caught seafood. If you're missing the taste of you local curry house, the Sher-e-Punjab has everything from mild coconut kormas to fiery chicken vindaloos. And last but not least, the Kung Fu Chinese restaurant offers a sweet and sour taste of the Oriental.
When it comes to night time entertainment, this place is in a class of its own. Not only does it have six bars to chill out in, it's also got its very own nightclub, Diamonds. If you want to throw some shapes until the early hours of the morning, this is the place to come. Inside, you'll find comfy seats, a large bar, and of course, a dance floor.

Tiwi beach is a great place to stay lovely and clean food fantastic would NOT recoment any trips booked through Thomson holidays they dont tell you the truth and dont care about your safety whilst on teh trips the snorkeling trip includes a 10hour bus... more on this review
