This hotel gives you a peaceful base with four pools, a packed activities programme and two private beaches close by.
This family-friendly hotel is nuzzled in a quiet spot near lively Na’ama Bay. It’s easy to get to the bay - it’s a five-minute drive, or you can take the free evening shuttle. Plus, a shuttle bus will whisk you to two private stretches of sand in 15 minutes.
Back at the hotel, rooms are clustered round the main pool and manicured gardens. There’s also a mini-waterpark loaded with slides.
Three pools are available from 9am, where you can relax and laze by the pool or perhaps jump in and have a splash, why not give the water activities a go if you fancy. There is something to offer everyone.
An adult slide which has 4 runners to let the grown ups act like the kids as they coast down at rapid speeds. There is also a kids slide available where they can whizz down and take a splash into the water.
Be wary of this hotel and read on before booking!!!
Before booking this hotel we checked all of the reviews and it definitely seemed that this was just what we wanted..good service, family hotel, great facilities, good food and choice. Within 24 hours of arriving we were left wondering whether previous reviewers had stayed at the same hotel?
I don't really know where to start but here goes.
The hotel is tired, run down and just damn right unclean and this is aparent as soon you arrive. The rooms are basic, grubby and uninspiring - nothing like the images on the website. All inclusive this aint. The Asian restaurant, Italian restuarant and Indian restaurant are not included and cost more - which explains why they are empty night after night. There is only really one restaurant to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Within 2 days you are getting the same food again and again. We were annoyed to start with but then it just become amusing - almost Fawlty Towers-esque. Tables were just left piled with dirty plates, then there was no cutlery and you were lucky to even get your hands on a plate. There was clearly no effort.
As for night times - if you're looking to get some relaxtion then forget it - this is the noisest and rowdiest hotel we've ever been to. Shouting, swearing, kids screaming at 1am- boozy bust ups in corridors are all part of the glorious ambience here. It's brits abroad and maguluf in the 80s all over again...great for 18-30s but not for a family hotel.
All around you couples and families are arguing and tension is high because the hotel it that bad.
The pools are tired, with the kids pool not opening till 10am - shutting at 1pm until 2.30pm and then closing altogether at 4.30pm??? The bottom of the pool is coming apart. Our little boy came down a slide and gashed his chin on the bottom resulting in a trip to the clinic and stitches and a £75 bill. And if you want the kids club and havent booked through Thomas Cook then that'll cost you extra also.
This hotel is split into two - english on one side and Russians on the other. I thought our side was bad but the Russian side was appalling. This is a 3 star hotel at best and if I had booked through Thomsons or Thomas Cook and paid through the nose then I would be asking some pretty searching questions.
Some of the staff in the restaurant try hard but too many of them just cant be bothered. We are frequent travellers to Egypt because we know the quality of their hotels and service cannot be beaten and were not expecting the Ritz but this hotel falls way below what you should be expecting.
Our advice would be...choose another hotel and pay that little bit extra. Don't waste your hard earned money on this place and for gods sake dont believe the other reviewers who give this top marks.More

Visited the parkland hotel for the first time and thought it was amazing. The food was good and the staff were so helpful. There was never a dull moment here and the animation team were excellent. The rooms were always kept clean aswell as the rest of the hotel. Will 100% visit again.More
Fun filled holiday, needs improvement!
Room - The room was quite basic. Obviously not the quality we're used to in 5* hotels in London. There was a satellite TV, shower and toiletries which were replenished daily if needed. It was cleaned and tidied to a high standard with the occasional towel art - tipping the cleaner ensures great towel art. Tea/coffee and water available in room daily. Very efficient air con and extremely dark curtains to ensure no sun light until your ready to wake!
Food - Unfortunately the food was rather disappointing. The fresh stations were good - eggs for breakfast, pasta for lunch and dinner with one other cultural food for dinner which changed daily. The eggs and pasta were good, good fresh fruit and puddings, also nice toasties at lunch. You can eat burgers and chips or tuna melts at Nathan's just after the English restaurant serves lunch which is also nice. The rest of the food was repetitive, not fresh, quite similar to school dinner food. Definitely not 5*! However the vouchers for a la carte dinners were delicious. Unfortunately I wasn't able to use half of mine as I saved them for the end only to be told 4 days before departure they were fully booked and I could only make 2 bookings. You have 2 bookings per week and we stayed for 2 weeks. It was a complete pack of lies, everyone was told the same only to walk past the restaurants seeing a maximum of 4 tables in use! Make sure you book 2 days ahead
Cleanliness - The rooms were cleaned well and so was the English restaurant. However the rest of the hotel was less than satisfactory, particularly the toilets majority of the time. They had urine/faces on the seats and cock roaches on the floor a couple of times.
Staff - The staff were excellent. Friendly, helpful, enthusiastic. They are extremely entertaining. In the Atrium (the English restaurant) the waiters had our usual drinks ready for us before we'd sat down with our food! Good at playing with the children too. Unfortunately the reception staff were the only disappointment- arrogant, pompous and rude!
Entertainment - Great selection of pools including Aqua park, one for younger children, one for older. It was often hard to get a lounger around the main pool and other pools. Never had trouble near the water park surprisingly. Free kids clubs with mini golf, arts and crafts and face painting etc. Also a Thomas Cook kids club which is free for ppl who have booked their holiday with Thomas Cook and payable for other customers if there is any space. My children didn't try it but did go to to the Thomas Cook chocolate party which they loved! Every night there is different shows including African limbo dancers, comedy night, fire extravaganzas etc. a mini disco with songs and dance moves which the kids love. If you want to book any trips, book with the Egyptians and haggle for the best price. We did swimming with dolphins, snorkelling, quad biking and Aqua Blu water park - all amazing! We found out after our trip to Titan island that you can snorkel free at the beach which has a free shuttle bus and there is way more sea life to see there. However I don't regret it because we saw a shoal of dolphins and a giant turtle. Tip - We asked the guy driving the speed boat if there were Dolphins and he found them for us.
Upgrade - we went for the upgrade as the rooms were nicer. however I was not told at the time, but when checking websites upon returning home read that they are supposed to include robes, a complimentary basket of fruit and free wifi which I'm sure you can guess we were never informed of or received!
Despite the complaints, we did enjoy the holiday. I hope the management will not dismiss this review and actually implement change in the areas that need it!
I would also like to mention there is a lot of racism towards their own ppl and Russians. If you have an English wrist band you receive the best treatment possible. If your Russian or Egyptian expect a more crowded dirtier restaurant, no ice in your drinks and a rude attitude from staff!More

A great holiday, despite the hotel.
This was our 8th time in Egypt, although the first at this hotel, and we stayed from the 5th august 2015 for 2 weeks, two families totalling 4 adults and 5 kids. On arrival we were allocated 2 family suites in the Parklands side of the complex. Whilst the rooms were large, they were dirty. The bathrooms were mouldy and the bedrooms had ants crawling on the floor. The standard of the rooms was poor and they were a good 5 years past refurbishment. On complaining to reception, little was done. After 2 days of complaining, we were given the option to upgrade our rooms to the Premier side of the complex for a discounted rate of $10 per night, which we eagerly did.
The new rooms were great!
The general quality of this hotel, compared to others we have stayed at was poor. The pools suffered a mould problem, with all the grout being black. The areas surrounding the pools were poorly finished cast concrete which was crumbling. Many of the sunbeds were not in the best of conditions, however were useable. The Spa was basically dilapidated and filthy. The whole place (Parklands side) is in desperate need of a refurb and updating. By Comparison, the Premier side of the complex is substantially better, although still not to the standard of other hotels we have stayed at in Egypt.
Right, Grumbling over. Why, bearing in mind the first part of this review, does this hotel get 4/5?
The food is great! Whilst canteen style buffet, the food was always hot, varied, well presented and cooked. Excluding the A La Carte restaurants, the Atrium was good enough to keep us interested in meals without us getting bored. We ate at Nathans Steak Restaurant a few times, and were not disappointed. The steaks were absolutely delicious.
Now on to the absolute best thing about this hotel, the Animation Team. What a great team of people, our kids fell in love with them all. Annie, Louis, Chloe, Dan and the others were brilliant, working long hours always with a smile on their faces and always doing their best to ensure that everyone was having the best time they could. Without the Animation team, this holiday would've been a 2/5 rating. Thanks to you all.
In summary, would I recommend this hotel? Not really, but then I'm sitting at home writing this review and thinking how much I wish I was still on my holiday, so obviously the good outweighed the bad.More

2nd to 16th August
We stayed here for the second time from the 2nd to 16th August we felt disappointed very quickly we were booked into the new premier part of the hotel which we thought was going to be totally different to last year.....we were wrong only thing that was different was a bunk bed and a lick of paint. Last year there was so much staff at this hotel this year the staff seem stretched to there limits and this is effecting service. I need to mention three guys who worked none stop and looked after us very well George, mina and youssef from the main pool these three really are a credit to your hotel. I am not saying we didn't enjoy our holiday as we truly did it was just not up to the standards it was last year.
What made our holiday was the animation team each and everyone of them ensure that everyone has an amazing time so massive thanks to David, Dan, Chico, Lou Lou, Zoe, Toni, Chloe, Annie, Natalie and Julia you guys are all amazing and a credit to the hotel hope to see you all again some time More
