Not a 5 stars hotel, never going back again

We have been to 3 stars hotels, and were better than this one 1. we booked triple room but they gave us an extra bed. 2. The food was disaster!! poor, bad taste and sometimes no refill. 3. The staff was so-so, most of them aren't trained. 4. baaaaaaaaaad aqua park but good pools. 5. far from to the beach. 6. we asked for a ride with the golf cars there from the rooms to restaurant for our grandfather, because it is 10 minutes walking from our rooms, we booked it 3 times but they totally ignored the request, because of that some of us missed the lunch and they refused to provide any set meals, we had to fight and complain the the manager to solve it. 7. the good things were the animation team and the drinks. they simply ruined the reputation, doesn't worth a 5 stars rank.More

hi guys here's another review of grand azure can't say i was totally happy this time,this was my eighth time here must admit not lmpressed lots of egyptians and arabs this time, meal time was like going into a zoo, good job we got bands for the aquaruim, rooms do need up dating they are supposed to be closing on 16 october for 6 mths for refurb so we will see.we did get upgraded again which was ok, can't fault the staff well bar staff i found the chefs in the marrakesh restaurant a bit rude especially if there was an arab or egyptian stood next to you they ignored you so you'd be waiting for your food.Pools defo need doing slimy on the bottom so be carefull not to fall on your way in.snacks down at the beach are not up to much the pizza are now cheese and tom nothing else wouldn't recommend the fish as it's left open with just clingfilm covering half of it, burgers are pre cooked.Now to the animation team CHLO, BETH and STEFF absolutely fantastic shows weren't to bad but they made you feel very welcome had a good laugh doing the quiz for the english they went round everyone making sure they were ok well done girls a big thank you for making our holiday can't wait to see you all again.More

Amazing hotel

It was like living a life in paradise for a week wish I booked two weeks Food was amazing different choice every night, was cleaned all day long, always staff to help and never had one bad think to say, Will be returning next year with my family Room was massive I'll give this hotel 10* More

Nice 4* hotel

We spent 4 nights , it was very nice time!! Food is ok , animation also good and nice night show. Ahmed from reception is a very friendly , upgraded our room to a seer with a fantastic pool view. Thanks Ahmed. Service in bars and restaurant was maximum of 3* , people were tired but not rude!!. Pools are clean and suitable for all ages.More

Huge let down by the cleanliness of the pools and surroundings.

This was our 3rd time at this hotel and my wife and I will never be back. The pools were disgusting, we had to wear our soft shoes to stop us from sliding in and out of the water. The standards of the hotel itself were well below what we were expecting. Some staff tried to make up for what was lacking in other areas. At the end of the day Thomson/First Choice have a god dam cheek allowing people to pay good money for this so called 4 star hotel when it is clearly not.More
