Away from the beach, the hotel has the top-class facilities Sensatori is famous for. Six restaurants range from an American-style diner to a Middle Eastern à la carte. The sports line-up encompasses everything from scuba diving to yoga. And stylish rooms come with every prefix imaginable, including beachfront, swim-up and whirlpool.

Lovely winter break
We chose this hotel for a chill holiday and that's just what we got. It was so relaxing. I did want to come home, but in a good way, it was stress free and I relaxed. The weather wasn't perfect every day' but it was warm and lovely even on a cloudy day in February. So it was almost there - cardigan in the evenings but not chilly. Everything has already been said re the hotel. It's staff are lovely and can't do enough for you. Our room - family room - was in block 4 and was very nice with a sea view, albeit looking over the shacks and camels resting places. If I had a complaint about the room it would be the shower over the bath. I'd have preferred a walk in shower ( no good if you are less mobile, not that I am but some may be) but that is being really picky. The room has a good hairdryer, kettle and lovely bathrobes. The food choice was really superb and I defy anyone to come away hungry. Would I have a swim up or jacuzzi? Maybe but neither offer much privacy so as long as you are aware that folks will be passing you'll love them. I wouldn't call the hotel 5 star but it was a very very good holiday hotel that met all of our expectations. I'd go again. Keep up the good work!More

My wife and I have just returned from this hotel. we have stayed in different hotel's in this area before but believe me Sensatori is far better. I know its a bit more expensive but its worth every penny. This is truly a 5 star. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. Would not consider any other hotel in this area and will defiantly return. Everyone should have a sensatori holiday. I cannot fault a thing and have had the most fantastic time. 10/10More

Heaven on earth
Drawing those curtains back on the first morning was a memory I want to retain for ever. The vision of table and chair/sunlounger on our patio area, the swim-up pool glistening in front, a pathway, the beach, the palm trees and finally the sea. Heaven on earth. We were lucky to get the most amazing room. This was our second visit. The first time we weren't prepared to pay the extra for the swim-up room. Huge mistake. The first time we had a room (still lovely) but it overlooked the side of the hotel onto the desert area and I remember feeling a little disappointed. This time, we booked 2 swim-up rooms for myself/husband and our 2 teenage boys (14/17). I'd thought the swim-up pool was more suitable for those with small children. How wrong was I?! The boys spent most of the time in the pool splitting time between resting on the patio and cooling off in the water. We were handy for the sea too and went snorkelling a few times. It was wonderful when we had waiter service and cold drinks alcoholic/non-alcoholic were delivered to the pool edge. My one criticism would be that they didn't come along often enough - some days once every 2 hours. I feel that at least once an hour would be more appropriate. That might make us seem like lazy bums as it wasn't that far to walk to the bar but in order to do this you have to dry off which was a little annoying. Walking through the bedroom with wet feet was simply treacherous and there were signs up saying not to do this. We used the beach towels which were provided free of charge and these were obtained from the main pool area - no problem to collect them in the morning but it was a little tedious at dusk as they had to be returned. We would be outside, using them, until the sun went down and then needed to get dressed - by this time the towel kiosk would be closed. We were told off a couple of times - fair enough. Perhaps it would be a good idea to be able to leave a heap of beach towels outside the swim-up room doors, for these to be collected? Not essential but a nice 'customer service' addition. The other option is to take your own towels - not a bad idea as sometimes the 'fresh' towels didn't exactly smell very 'fresh'! The weather in February half term was divine. I'd been quite concerned that it wouldn't be warm enough and even more concerned it would be too cold to swim in the pool/sea. It was bliss. Air temperature was hot but bearable. Swim-up pool is acclimatised which means it's always fine. Sea was cold but I (being female) coped with it. My 2 boys and husband weren't quite so keen - wusses! The main communal pool is heated but the activity pool/infinity pool are not and they were freezing. The main problem with this holiday is that no other holiday will ever be the same again! Our room was in the perfect spot adjacent with the beach and we've been spoilt with a very quiet pool. A most fabulous holiday. Thank you Sensatori.More

First time in Egypt
We chose the Sensatori because our friends recommended it, I have to say I was slightly disappointed after reading all the excellent reviews. For a start we were in a standard room in block 4 and our view was over the staff entrance and then out over what I can only describe as a dump between the hotel and the sea. It was not a place you wanted to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and relax, also in the mornings when the workers were arriving for work and delivery vans were arriving It was very noisy, so doors shut I'm afraid. The design of the room was Ok, but the bathrooms are too small for the rooms, shower over the bath is a disappointment surely 5 star hotels are separate showers, climbing over the side of the bath is not good enough I don't think and not easy. If you want to sit around the pool or beach all day then this is fine, there is nowhere to walk and nothing to see. Good points, excellent service, really good quality food everywhere, standard of cleanliness excellent, weather great, snorkelling unbelievable seeing all the fish and coral was an experience. You want for nothing and there is never a feeling of the staff scrimping on anything with regards to drink or food etc, majority of the Egyptian staff we're very friendly. Overall a relaxing holiday good weather great service, let down by our room location and view.More

Just returned from 1 week in a swim up room with sea view at sensetori sharm . We have been to sharm 5 times now and this hotel was by far the best we have been too. I would say the hotel cost us approx £400 more than the others but was well worth the extra. What was diffrent to the other hotels was sensertori is modern , cleaner, 1st class service and drinks were never in short supply. The choice of restaurants was lovely and the main central dinning room was 1st class surrondings comfy chairs and white table cloths ,good wine and beer. Our room 1128 was lovely but we realy didnt use the swim up pool very often as we were next to the beach and pools and like a little activity. When we return we will have a sea view but forget the pool. ( your choice ) entertainment great . Sun everyday looking forward to october . Angus n gillMore
