This hotel gives you access to the whole Sea Group Resort – which means a private beach and three huge outdoor pools.

Three big pools are the main focus here, along with a golden-sand private beach that goes on for the best part of a kilometre. And you’re only 20 minutes from the centre of Na’ma Bay – the hotel runs a free shuttle bus during the day.

The hotel has its own PADI scuba diving school, and even its own coral reef.

hotel was fine

We have recently returned from this hotel, and when family and friends asked if we had a nice time my reply was it was fine! hotel was fine staff were fine food was fine! normally I like to say our holiday had been amazing but unfortunately it was just fine. twice we had to phone and ask to have towels in our room as after housekeeping had been in they didn't replaced them. we found the constant asking if we wanted to book trips or massages or haircuts tiring we tried to make it clear we didn't want to book anything but we were still asked at least 3 or 4 times a day! The animation staff around the pool didn't talk to us (I presume because we didn't want to take part but it still would have been nice to have been asked) only emma asked us and that was on our second last and last day! We had an issue with pool towels and the cards that were issued, on our second day we noticed most people were leaving their towels on the loungers and going for lunch etc so we decided to do the same, after lunch we went back to our room to cool down before returning to the pool (our room overlooked the pool) we then witnessed a Russian guest take our towels and return them to the towel hut, we immediately went down to the staff at the towel hut who said there was nothing they could do and we couldn't get any more towels or get our towel cards back, we then went to reception to explain what happened and we were given 2 more towel cards but on check out we were charged 30 euros for apparently losing our original towel cards! I tried to explain but the staff member on reception just looked at me blankly and when i requested the email address for the hotel manager I was thrown a card with the General email address on! Was extremely unhappy being charged 30 euros for something that wasn't our fault! In the evenings before dinner we like to sit on our balcony and have a drink on the Monday evening we were dismayed to find a group of men outside our balcony at the pool area obviously about to start some work at the pool, it looked like they were building a new shower area, the noise and dust were unbelievable! this work continued throughout our stay and marred our enjoyment of being able to sit on our balcony in the evenings, I have a video of the noise but unfortunately cant upload in this comment. Russian guests are extremely rude pushing in front of queues, food not great on the plus side I think I lost a few pounds during my stay as I didn't eat much at all! staff at pool would sometimes bring you drinks and other times didn't despite us giving tips each time they did, would not recommend this hotel!More


Not to be fooled by the gardens

Arrived 1.45am after a 4 hour delay from Thomsons. Only one person at the check in desk to check in, 10 of us. Then after filling out forms, we were then given over to one man who showed us all to our rooms, one by one. It was 2.45am by the time we were in our room to find it had not been cleaned well at all. Hairs on the floor, rubbish left from the previous guest. Mirrors filthy. Various cup stains. And the fridge had orange spilt inside. Now, whoever had put the free bottle of water in there had ignored this. I complained to the rep the next morning and the room was then cleaned to a fashion. And I had paid extra for a room upgrade, before we arrived. Cleanliness in the eating areas are far from good. I had to ask for the tables to be wiped from the previous guests on many occasions. Sea club is the biggest and the worst out of the 3 resorts. The bar staff in the 24hr lobby bar were rude, ignorant and just not friendly at all, unless you tipped them frequently. The free drinks are limited. Beware you do not get them in the room fridge. There is no order in the eating areas. It is a free for all. You have to dodge the various guests, mainly Russians so as not to be body checked. They have no concept of an orderly line. They will push you, lean over you and just jump in front. There is no staff to set a good example. As for the dress code. Do not bother to take long trousers to eat in their Al a Carte establishments. Men turn up in everything but. It was not a good experience and I would never return. We are glad to be back home!More

Oh Dear Very Poor - Lost faith in Thomsons

All inclusive resort...but you have to pay for quite a cream, snorkels, snooker, shisha pipes etc..the list was endless...! Most guests had food poisoning including myself which lasted 3-4days of a 7 day holiday. The hand gel had ran out within our restaurant and it took a few days for it to be replaced. Hand gel wasn't available everywhere just the main restaurant. Rooms Where to start, rooms weren't cleaned just fresh towels put out and beds remade. The floors inside the room were filthy just walking from the toilet back to bed caused the soles of our feet to go black. We were allocated a twin room for couple which wasn't ideal and beds way too small for a tall couple. Not romantic at all. The cleaner boy sat awaiting your return to ask questions, I understand he wanted to make an impression to get a tip but it was like begging. He made an elephant out of towels and asked on 6 different occasions if we liked it. We paid for late check out and he was so eager to see the tip he knocked every hr despite telling him we leave the room at 6. So what should have been a relaxing last day wasn't due to being ill and constantly interrupted. Rooms were not of a 4-5 star standard. Al a cartes Surprisingly some of the best Al a carts I've been too. The tepenyakkye is a must see however because it's difficult to determine where the illness came from its hard to gauge. Plus I managed a bite of chicken and that was about it. Animation staff Evening entertainment - re boards were never updated correctly so we missed a few good shows. Bono and Emma were fantastic. Summary Never seen a 4-5 star in its life. A few tweaks could improve this however I wouldn't return. Massive disappointmentMore


Beautiful Grounds

My husband and I spent 2 weeks here from 26th April and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although there are some minor issues it didn't affect our stay. Firstly I want to say a massive thank you to the Animation team, especially Sam and Emma! I didn't participate in any games but my husband did and it was very good to watch lol! They were always a laugh, especially when we chucked them into the pool (they needed cooling down!) Our room was always cleaned to a good standard and clean towels were provided everyday, I enjoyed looking forward to seeing the towel art on our bed :D To be honest our room was a little dated and the shower cubicle had mould in the tile grout which was a little off-putting. We stayed in Block 2 and had a lovely view of the pool and sea which helped make up for the dated room. The pool area was kept clean and staff were continuously mopping up the puddles which I think was good to help prevent slips. The flooring around the pool is VERY slippery and we saw people constantly slipping, with myself being one of them! We spent pretty much everyday by the pool and went down every morning early to put our towels onto a sun lounger as everybody else was doing so. Between 12-3 it's quite quiet around the pool which was nice. The food is a bit hit and miss. It is buffet food served at breakfast, lunch and dinner with 'theme' nights at the 3 hotels each day o the week. Our favourites were Arabian and BBQ night. Out of the A La Carte restaurants we only visited the Lebanese and Japanese ones and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The downside to the Lebanese restaurant is that the meal is rushed as it's only an hour sitting for 3 courses so you don't really get to enjoy your company and surroundings as you're too busy trying to finish your food. The Teppanyaki was my favourite and I wished we visited there more than once. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff were very helpful and always attentive. Personal thanks to the waiter Mohammad, bar staff Reda and Dave (I could never pronounce his name so re-named him Dave lol!) We met some lovely people during our stay which I hope we stay in contact with. A lot of people complain about the rudeness of the Russian people here which we did experience but to be honest I don't think it is anything personal, just the way they are. We always held doors open for people and said please and thank you at mealtimes but had nothing in return from Russians. Oh well! We travelled as a couple although we do have children. There are some children's activities here but not really accommodating for British children, and we didn't see any during our stay here to be honest. Overall we had a fantastic time and probably would return if we were to travel as a couple again as I wouldn't bring my children here as there's little for them to do at the hotel. Tips for your Trip - The exchange rate is always better in the country you're visiting- there is a bank in the hotel which we used to change up our money. - A lot of the staff prefer tips in Sterling rather than E.L so might be worth taking some £ with. - The staff asked us during our stay if we were able to change up their English pound coins into notes as the bank doesn't accept coins. We did this for them a few times but always keep it to the same currency (e.g. 20 pound coins to £20 note) that way you keep the value of your money and not giving more or less depending on the exchange rate. - You do get hassled a little around the pool from those selling excursions and beauty treatments. Sometimes it can be very annoying but to be honest after our second day we weren't hassled as they were aware we weren't interested. I did feel sorry for the people who arrived on their first day it's a bit like a swarm! They are friendly though and did speak to them everyday, even if we didn't purchase what they were selling.More

Wouldn't recommend

Me, husband and baby just got back from here well to start off with our luggage didn't come for 2days so that was a horrible start what with having no food nappies milk for my baby or us! We were offered a measly £20 for the three of us bloody joke! So after receiving our luggage (which had been damaged) our holiday started finally. The hotel in terms of cleansiness was fine, rooms were a bit dated but fine the shower however had all grime stuck in between the tiles. Some of the staff around the pool were fab and some would just walk straight past you. It says people are not allowed to save the beds near the pool and so many times people would leave their towels and go off so every time we wanted to go sun bathe it was hard finding somewhere for us all. It's very busy around the pool area . One thing i found odd was it claims to be a 5* yet there's no lift getting up and down them stairs with a pram is hard work and annoying most of the time. They need to build a lift for Petes sake. The wifi room is a joke he internet is so crap this hotel deserve 4*not 5. The Russians are so rude OMG one time I had a Russian infront of me as we was going out the door me thinking he would hold the door for me as I had a push chair he let the door slam in my face. On many occasions they look at you as though you should be there, they push in in he food area the list goes on. One thing I did enjoy was going to the beach everydayMore
