Sea Club Resort

This hotel gives you access to the whole Sea Group Resort – which means a private beach and three huge outdoor pools.

Three big pools are the main focus here, along with a golden-sand private beach that goes on for the best part of a kilometre. And you’re only 20 minutes from the centre of Na’ma Bay – the hotel runs a free shuttle bus during the day.

The hotel has its own PADI scuba diving school, and even its own coral reef.

We stayed at the Sea Club Resort for a week in February with another couple. The whole resort is very well kept, all the staff are so friendly, and the food was very nice. I recommend visiting the French restaurant. A special thank you to Becky, from the animation team who was very helpful, and so friendly. The only downside we had with the hotel was the guys from the spa who constantly hassled you when poolside, and they don't take no for an answer. We eventually had to put in a complaint before the stopped hassling us. Other than that it was a 5* experience!More

We stayed at Sea Club Resort (all inclusive) for one week in March. It was our first time in Sharm and in an all inclusive hotel and therefore we were surprised quite a few times – positively as well as negatively. On a positive note, we found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. They always greeted us and asked us whether everything was ok. Also, the facilities were really nice. The pool was very big and with enough space for everyone, the beachfront was spectacular, including a ~100m pier to enjoy a nicer view. The gym looked decent as well, even though we didn’t get to use it in the end. Unfortunately, our room looked quite old and the bathroom floor was stained. Furthermore, the music at night was very loud, even though the 2 times we passed by there, there were only some 10 guests dancing around. We were also quite disappointed with the food. Breakfast selection was particularly poor. We had our a la carte dinner at the Japanese restaurant and found the food too salty. Even though you probably can’t expect a Michelin cook for the price you pay, we found it hard to eat this kind of food for the whole week. Lastly, the free wifi in the public area was really lousy and didn't work on our phones most of the time (hint: buy a 1 GB SIM card for your at a shop in the hotel). Overall, we found the hotel more like a 3 star hotel, with nice outdoor facilities and staff, but with rooms and food not up to our standard.More

We travelled to Sea Club as a couple for a week in March. The resort is made up of Sea Club, Sea Life and Sea Gardens it is more like a village with plenty of bar and restaurants. Main pool is very large and cold but all kept spotlessly clean with staff wiping the pool tiles daily. Our room was in block 5 right next to pool in Sea Club and was a bit dated but a good size with a huge bed and fresh towels delivered daily(disappointed with no towel art) You can use 3 out of the 4 a la carte for your holiday. We chose the French restaurant, steak was vile so disappointed with that visit. The beach restaurant (forgotten the name) very similar meal to French but steak was lovely and lastly the Lebanese Restaurant the food was great but what made the night for us was the staff the could not do enough for you would definitely visit there again. We enjoyed snorkelling in the sea and the fish literally swim around your feet The only thing that would prevent us staying here again is the current of the jetty is so strong it is not safe to snorkel. As others have stated this hotel is very Russian orientated. Wasn't a problem for us though All in all a great holiday.More

We travelled 5th - 19th March, weather was hot and a bit windy, but wind is needed to cool down, also windbreaks by the beach. The gardens are fantastic with flowers cacti and hedges all very well attended, thank you gardeners. The room is large with fantastic QUIET air conditioning, and a fridge, the bathroom has a hairdryer, stool, and even a pair of scales and a walk in shower. my fave. sheets and towels are changed daily, thanks to El Sayed our cleaner. We were in block 2 which was quiet. In the main restaurant thanks go to Ahmed our tea man at breakfast always smiling. and our drinks waiter on an evening Mohamed Anwar who was fantastic always checking to see if drink top up was needed, his area was at the bottom where the kitchens were. It`s nice to see the chefs actually sculpting large gourds next to the food stations. which brings me onto the food. The food was always hot - don't understand when other comments have said its cold, its impossible as all the food is under a lid which you have to remove and you can see the steam coming off the food. There is plenty of choice, again if people want to put meat, fish chicken and pies on at the same time then they are going to get bored with the choice. We also tried the speciality restaurants, you have 3 visits, we did the Lebanese and the Japanese, both are nice but my favourite has to be the Japanese which is at the Sea Life hotel, (you can use the 2 sister hotels other being Sea Gardens using all their facilities all the time Brilliant) The Japanese, you think sushi no, the choice is beef chicken and fish prawns etc cooked artistically in front of you which was amazing to watch him do all his tricks, so do not miss out on this, book early to avoid disappointment. My only quibble and its only a small one is the beach, could do with a top up of pure sand, its a little stony. The wi fi is a bit hit and miss in the lobby try go when not many people around. Cant wait for a re visit, thanks Sea Club and all your hard working staff, l cant wait to come back sometime.More

food very disappointing

We have been to Sharm on many occasions and enjoyed the food. This hotel caters for the Russians, Every day we had beef pie on the menu, except for 2 days - there was chicken pie and veg pie on these days! We were told a new chef had started a couple of weeks previous and that things had improved - they now cover the bread!!. In our opinion the meats were of an inferior quality. The joints were all cut up and you were served fat and grissle with the meat. We were of the opinion that fruit is plentiful in Egypt , but we were served a plate with bits of fruit already portioned. They could have done simple things like keep the soup hot. My husband was served freezing cold chips one day, I don't think they were even cooked. We went to the French restaurant which was lovely, we were served chicken off the bone (this never happened in the main restaurant). Please don't think we just moan, a lot of other English people shared our views, and we wrote our true opinion on the review form given at check out, and even spoke to the English Guest relation girl as did many others did. Yes, we could always find something to eat, but we were used to the excellent food in other hotels. There was always food around the pools etc at all times of the day, cakes, burgers, chips. The staff in all the places were lovely, even the guys selling the trips and beauty were friendly and didn't hassle if you said no, although they still came to chat. The animation team were lovely, we are of an age were we enjoyed watching, and this was accepted. Emma made a point of coming to say goodbye to the English guests who were leaving and waved us off, nice touch. All the team do a good job. When we booked we paid for a pool view, but were given a garden view, this was rectified in an instance. Our pool towel was taken one day but the pool guy had a word with his manager so we weren't charged. These are the little things that make a holiday. The hotel is nice, our room was a bit tired, but we only slept there. Please be aware that the water is very, very hot, and the shower a bit slippery. We didn't have any towel art, none in our block did which was a bit disappointing. All in all, we enjoyed our holiday, but we love Egypt and will return, but maybe not to this hotel.More
