On the promenade in Naama Bay, the Maritim Jolie is in a top spot. There’s a great mix of cafés, bars and restaurants on the doorstep, not to mention a wide sandy beach. There’s a dive centre here, too, so exploring Sharm’s famous coral reefs is a cinch. And if you’d rather keep your head above water, it’s a great spot for windsurfing too.

Not far from the sand, you’ll find the hotel’s large pool. It’s fringed by a wide sun terrace complete with loungers and thatched parasols. Add that to a bakery and ice-cream parlour and you’re bound to find something you fancy. After-dark, meanwhile, the place to be is the hotel’s very own casino.
