On the promenade in Naama Bay, the Maritim Jolie Ville is in a top spot. There’s a great mix of cafés, bars and restaurants on the doorstep, not to mention a wide sandy beach. There’s a dive centre here, too, so exploring Sharm’s famous coral reefs is a cinch. And if you’d rather keep your head above water, it’s a great spot for windsurfing too. Not far from the sand, you’ll find the hotel’s large pool. It’s fringed by a wide sun terrace complete with loungers and thatched parasols. But if sitting still drives you to distraction, your options include floodlit tennis courts, volleyball nets and a well-equipped gym. There’s a Thai-style spa, too. As for the hotel itself, it’s surrounded by manicured lawns and well-kept gardens. The bedrooms are in small buildings tucked among the greenery, so there’s a real back-to-nature vibe. Inside, they’ve kept things simple without skimping on style. Think fresh white walls, over-sized patterned rugs and bright soft furnishings injecting splashes of colour. Plus, all the rooms come with spacious balconies, air-conditioning and satellite TVs. On the dining front, this place serves up a tempting mix of buffets and à la carte cuisine. There’s a beach barbecue restaurant, too, and a pizzeria serving up freshly-baked Italian classics. Add that to a bakery and ice-cream parlour and you’re bound to find something you fancy. After-dark, meanwhile, the place to be is the hotel’s very own casino.

Still as good as ever
We've stayed here at least eight times and will continue to return. The location is superb, right on a lovely part of the fine sandy beach at Naama Bay. The hotel is set in very well kept gardens and the accomodation is in low rise blocks. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and the linen changed very regularly. The beds are either large twins or extra large king sized and are firm and good quality. There is no bath, just walk-in showers and the tiling in the bathrooms is a bit dated; having said that, the white goods are very good quality and there is always a good supply of hot water and a very efficient shower. The breakfast buffet at The Orangerie is amazing. There is a variety of restaurants to choose from; Figolino's Italian restaurant, a fine dining La Fleur French, a beach barbeque, and a general a la carte restaurant and bar called Seagulls and the Orangerie which is a themed buffet. We have always stayed on a b & b basis, but we have eaten at all of the restaurants and all are very good. The beach facilities are excellent. There are plenty of very comfortable beach loungers and plenty of shade. The beach bar is our favourite spot for lunchtime drinks at happy hour and a pre-dinner drink at happy hour in the evening. Throughout the hotel, the staff are exremely friendly and helpful. All the bedrooms are furnished the same, but there are three different areas and a three tier price range. The Sports Area is at the back of the hotel and across the busy main road, the Palms Area is next to the busy night life of the main strip in Naama Bay and therefore can be noisy, the Preferred Area is by far the best, enjoying a central quiet location. Overall I rate this hotel as excellent.More

Beautiful hotel in a great location.
If you are looking to stay in a clean, friendly, hotel in a central location look no further....the breakfast buffets are extremely good...lots of choice with a high standard of different foods. The hotel is very clean and welcoming with a beautiful pool and it's own private beach. There is a choice of restaurants within the hotel but if you fancy venturing out there are plenty of good restaurants and bars on your doorstep. We also found the Camel Dive Centre to be only 5 mins stroll from the hotel which was perfect for boat trips for both diving and snorkelling. Above everything else the staff make this hotel...never have I stayed anywhere where nothing is too much trouble and you are made to feel so welcome. This is a rare quality to find in a hotel when travelling these days. In a nutshell I cannot praise this hotel enough...don't overlook it. It's a real gem and I highly recommend it.More

Staff & hotel amazing!
e came as a large family, returning again as my in laws have been here many times. The location of the hotel is perfect, right next to the beach and main strip. Staff are amazing, so friendly and make you feel so welcome. Wish we had enough money to tip every single person! Rooms were big and cleaned twice a day, extremely well, I once popped back to our room to find the floors being mopped and rugs lifted and cleaned. Hotel was quiet for time of year but that was great for us as the pool was not as busy. We stayed there during a traditional 3 day festival so the atmosphere was great. Only negatives were towards the end of our stay we had a couple of groups of '' young Egyptians'' round by the pool with their music playing full blast most of the day not seeming to care there were other people there, and the pool staff didn't seem to do anything about it, made us leave and go back to our rooms for some peace on a couple of occasions, perhaps the Jolie Ville was the wrong hotel for them to stay at as its more of a family/couple place. Also the noise on the street was very loud which wasn't a problem when we came 2 years ago, sometimes the music was being played til 4/5am so found it difficult to sleep some nights as we had our 1 year old son with us, so ask for a room nearer reception to get away from it. Everything else amazing and can't fault the place :-) More
