Iberotel Palace

This hotel has a boutique feel and Red Sea views that you can admire from the stylish split-level pool.

This hotel puts you right on the edge of a private sandy beach. There’s a lagoon pool, too, plus 3 restaurants. In the evenings, singers, belly dancers and other professional acts perform in the bar.

When you're not sunbathing by the pool, you can try watersports like windsurfing and scuba diving. Beyond the hotel, the spice market in Old Sharm is less than 5 minutes’ walk away.

fabulous hotel

when we walked in to the hotel we knew we had booked the right place for our honeymoon. nothing was too much trouble. our suite with a full sea view gorgeous. all the staff were excellent. food was of a good standard, especially the gala dinner. The beach was spotless, plenty of shade and sun beds. the beach bar and grill was really good. glasses from the freezer and ice cold beer. our visit to the spa truely amazing, the massage out of this world. The entertainment in the evenings was professional and varied, nice mix of pop, soul, dance music. How ever we like a quiet holiday, at each end of the private beach are two public bars, one of which had 4 speakers each 4x3 feet on a raised floor pointing towards the hotel. not only could you hear the base, you could feel it to! this started at 11 in the morning and continued untill 1am on one occasion. it wasn't like this every day but the constant noise really did spoil our holiday, i asked our rep who said, they had tried to keep the noise down, but as its a public area they had so far been unable to stop it. would we return? Im not sure, the noise really did annoy us.More

Slight changes evident

We had the usual friendly welcome and excellent care from all the staff, the food was even better than ever, good selection, always hot and very tasty. The room was well looked after by our very efficient room boy who could not be faulted. In other words, all we have come to know and love about the hotel ,but, a few slight changes and not for the better. A previous comment about the standard of ironing is one I agree with, in fact one item came back with no attempt made to iron it. One major worry is the poor state of repair of the two jetties for access to the boat taking people to the coral reef, it is the worst we have ever known and several people fell including one lady who fell straight through when the cubes broke apart. The hotel just don't seem interested. comments being that it is not their responsibility. A pity as the coral reef offers very good snorkeling and the staff cannot be faulted in the way they assist people, necessary as many guests are in the 60 plus group. we will return as it is still such a lovely hotel but would hope to see standards back to the previous level. ,More

an enjoyable stay

My new wife and i took a trip to Egypt, staying at the Iberotel Palace Sharm el Shiekh. I would recommend this hotel as we had a very enjoyable time. Three buffet meals a day of a good standard. The beds were very comfortable, there were a couple of pools with pool bar. We were on an inclusive package that was a very good deal all round.More

Holiday Review

Room/hotel cleanliness excellent. Good quality food - we ate outside every meal except the 2 a-la-carte evenings and couldn't fault the service in all restaurants. At busy times, service could be a little slow with the bar on the terrace. Staff friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Good British singers but both local singers employed too much echo for our taste. Animation staff lovely. Beach parasols good. Nearby shopping areas a bit shabby and you need to be very firm with the shopkeepers who say "no hassle" although it's anything but! Local boat trips are good value and well run. Unfortunately, security scares mean no operator-run desert trip (although local guides can arrange independently). Needed Imodium and a good mozzy repellant for evenings.More
