Waterbabies will love this place – as well as the beach, it’s got two huge pools and a waterpark.
This beachfront hotel has a waterpark complete with thrill rides and a lazy river – plus there are two lake-style pools. On the dining front, there’s a trio of restaurants with an Indian and Italian à la carte.
This hotel has a great spot in peaceful Nabq Bay, on its own 400-metre stretch of golden-sand beach. It’s about a 35-minute drive from the bars, shops and restaurants in lively Na’ama Bay.
Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. 1 visit per week to the à la carte restaurant - drinks not included.
Selected local-brand beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks and cocktails 10.00-24.00.
The aquapark at Coral Sea Water World is on site so, a splashing good time is just footsteps away. The water rides have names like Night Rider, Freefall, Turbulence and Twilight Zone and include tube slides that snake their way downhill, multi-lane racing slides and a bowl-shaped vortex.
Younger swimmers have a pirate-themed splash pool where they can scramble up and over the water, then swoosh and glide back in. And a lazy river gently meanders around the park area too.
There are manufacturer's height restrictions of 1.20m on the big waterslides and the wave pool. These also have an age restriction of either 8 or 10 years and over.

Hot hot hot
We went to this resort in May 15 and absolutely loved it. My daughter spent the entire week in the wave pool!!
The food was good and there was plenty of choice, calamari I thought was an odd choice for the children's selection but they were eating it.
On the first night our air conditioning broke and within 20 minutes someone had come and fixed it. The service was really good.
I did find that a couple of the bar staff were a little short with you unless you were returning guests (there are a lot of these and rightly so the place is lovely - however they did tend to act like they owned the place!!)
We have booked another Coral Resort for December fingers crossed the flight restrictions are lifted.More
2 weeks was too long.
we booked a holiday to Egypt for the guaranteed sun, which we got and was perfect. when we arrived it was late but while checking in they suggested to get some food from the restaurant which they had left open for us, I would of rather just gone to the room as there was hardly anything left to eat and was all cold. when we finally got to our room the room key didn't work and reception was a fair way away as we where over looking the sea and these rooms where the furthest away, the porter brought our bags and said he would go and sort the issue. once in the room we where really happy it was a very good size and looked nice and clean the fridge was full which was good but there is a charge for products used out of it so we asked for ours to be emptied to put water and creams in. the room clean was very good with some amazing towel art, and a lovely touch on my birthday was having some cards and a cake delievered. the pools where fantastic and the water park amazing. I didn't use the slides but my 10 year old brother did and he loved them. the lazy river is so good and recommend it, just relax in the sun as you go around its perfect. We had a cabana saved for us most days around the water park which was a lovely touch and was nice to have a private area to sun bathe. the food isn't the best but I always managed to find something although my meals where a little mixmatched. the ice creams at the beach bar where amazing but they needed eating quick as the ice cream melted very fast with the warm cone. The entertainment was not the best and was outside, nothing really inside and for adults to do at night. We went out a couple of nights and it was not a nice experience people grabbing my hand kissing it, locking me in a shop to talk I would suggest taking a man with you, although soho square was amazing I loved it, we went to the savoy Chinese restaurant and it was gorgeous and then went shopping around the square which had some fantastic shops, I would highly recommend soho square. the al a cartes where good at the hotel the Italian I would recommend we went twice and both times it was gorgeous, the indian wasn't the best and indian being my favourite food was a little disappointing although the staff where fantastic, you also have to pay for drinks in the al a cartes but we didn't mind as was getting table service. 2 weeks was too much for us just as there wasn't a great deal to do outside of hotel and no real good entertainment but overall we made the most of it and it was a good holiday, and when Egypt comes out of its crisis and with the right deal would come back with my partner from a week during winter.More
It was our first time at coral sea, and it won't be our last. We had the most amazing time ever. Food was great, rooms were great. We're made to feel very welcome. The animation team was fantastic. And so were the Thompson reps. I felt so at home and miss every part of the holiday. So much to do and offer.
When we arrived at Coral Sea Water World the staff were energetic, and excited to see us. Which was helpful after the long plane journey. The food was nearly always the same but then you became to enjoy one particular food right from the start. Air con worked fine. Brilliant room. Amazing water park and swimming pool. More
