Coral Sea Water World

Waterbabies will love this place – as well as the beach, it’s got two huge pools and a waterpark.

This beachfront hotel has a waterpark complete with thrill rides and a lazy river – plus there are two lake-style pools. On the dining front, there’s a trio of restaurants with an Indian and Italian à la carte.

This hotel has a great spot in peaceful Nabq Bay, on its own 400-metre stretch of golden-sand beach. It’s about a 35-minute drive from the bars, shops and restaurants in lively Na’ama Bay.

Onsite waterpark

The aquapark at Coral Sea Water World is on site so, a splashing good time is just footsteps away. The water rides have names like Night Rider, Freefall, Turbulence and Twilight Zone and include tube slides that snake their way downhill, multi-lane racing slides and a bowl-shaped vortex.

Younger swimmers have a pirate-themed splash pool where they can scramble up and over the water, then swoosh and glide back in. And a lazy river gently meanders around the park area too.

There are manufacturer's height restrictions of 1.20m on the big waterslides and the wave pool. These also have an age restriction of either 8 or 10 years and over.

Kids' club

The hotel-run kids' club provides a great range of kids’ activities to fill their days with fun and adventure. For ages 4 to 12 years.

2 outdoor pools

If you don't fancy the slides and chutes, there's always the main pools. One's heated from mid-November to mid-April.

Fantastic family hotel

Visited this hotel in September 2015 with my husband and two children who were 3 and 5. This was our third visit to Egypt and it didn't disappoint. The weather as always was amazing (for us, worth that extra flight time to guarantee hot sunshine - I can't bear the thought of paying thousands of pounds to sit in the rain for a few days closer to home). The Egyptians are so friendly and make us feel special. This particular hotel was brilliant. We had a family room which was huge and the children had their own separate bedroom which made it easier at their bedtime as we weren't disturbing them by sitting in our room or on the balcony. We chose a ground floor room for the layout as the family rooms on higher floors has the children's beds beside the balcony so coming in and out from balcony once the children were in bed wouldn't have worked for us. First time for us on the ground floor but it was great. We overlooked the pool which was lovely. The pools were absolutely brilliant, choice of adults only but loads of pools for the kids and the on site waterpark was perfect for us, kids especially enjoyed the lazy river and toddler pool (they're not confident with the water splashing in faces like in the kids pool) but loads for them do nevertheless. We were never bored! The entertainment at night for us was great. Our kids watched the movie at 6pm (we all sat outside to watch and eat outside (bringing the food from the buffet restaurant outside with us). Kids were happy watching movie whilst we had a relaxing dinner. Then the kids entertainment and mini disco started after the movie and the kids loved that every night. We stayed for the adult shows on a couple of nights but kids were usually ready for bed by then. We have never used the kids clubs anywhere so can't comment on those. The children's reps were fine, although I personally felt were lacking a bit of effort during the mini discos. Some just seemed like they didn't want to be there (which perhaps was true but I as a customer shouldn't be able to see that!). The reps (some same people as at mini disco) were always great round the pool etc. And the kids still dance the club dance now! We went on two trips, the submarine which we had done the previous year. The sealife is always amazing in sharm and was a brilliant trip for those not confident to scuba dive or snorkel, or for those with young children. We had our first trip to soho square, which I can't recommend enough. The taxi driver was wonderful and arranged to pick us up too. Really cheap but reliable. The square itself had a lot for the children with fairground rides etc. And I was surprised by how safe we felt there (I wouldn't recommend narma bay to those with young children because of all the hassle you get from locals but none of that in soho square). A lovely night out for the family and a late night adventure for the little ones. The children especially enjoyed the outdoor chess set at the hotel and an endless supply of popcorn around the pool. These little touches make the difference for young kids! The beach had boules on there which was fun, and plenty of beds, although we personally didn't use the beach for sunbathing. We always enjoyed a walk down the jetty watching the fish in the sea. The sea was like being in a warm bath at the end of the jetty. Food was great in the hotel, perhaps repetative in the buffet restaurant but I've never stayed anywhere for 11 nights in an all inclusive and it be any different or any better. Service was fantastic, waiters were very friendly and chatted to the children too. The Al a carte restaurants were lovely and the food was stunning at the Indian restaurant (this was our last night treat but if we'd have gone earlier, we would've gone back). We also only discovered the mermaid restaurant in the afternoon towards the end of our trip but they serve lunch later than the other restaurants, it means you literally can find a meal at any point of the day (which works well when you're trying to avoid a set routine/schedule). There was an argument between two British families one afternoon (with one family complaining the others were making to much noise around the quiet pool), it could've easily got out of hand but the staff were on the scene really quickly and dealt with the situation well. The only negative I can think of is the bathrooms in the rooms are quite dated and need a renovation / freshen up. The grouting, pipes, etc. were dirty although I felt the bathroom itself was clean. But this is the only reason I marked this four stars instead of the full five. Would be more than happy to stay there again. Would highly recommend. More

Katie D,

Absolutely amazing ❤️❤️

I visited CSWW back in August/September, myself, husband and daughter. What can I say? The hotel itself is amazing, so clean, and the food is good, not fantastic but there is always something there you can eat, the staff are really friendly, the entertainment staff were very energetic, on the go all day, the waterpark is fab! The only downfall here really is the evening entertainment, not good to say it's a family resort. Be careful when going out of the resort too, don't get conned by the perfume seller, he really was pushy. I can totally recommend Time Tours for trips too 😊 Would I go again? Even with everything going at the moment, absolutely! Best holiday I have ever had ❤️More

Excellent holiday, Fun Fun Fun

Fantastic family holiday will remember for a very long time. Booked 2 rooms, 1 for me and the wife the other for the daughter and mother in law. Although they were on seperate floors they were close by so not a problem at all. The rooms were comfy and adequate to lay your head at night. Nothing else major apart from that. Myself and the wife supposedly had the superior room although i would really disagree with this as the other room was far nicer. The food was exceptional for all the hotels we have stayed this was by far the best with the options and range of choice. Very much hot plate food as when catering for this amount of people you can expect nothing else. But thoroughly enjoyed every meal every day. Entertainment was nothing major but enjoyed it all the same. The animation team tried to cater for everyone and were very enthusiastic The waterpark truly is the main feature as the mother in law doesn't really do the water but managed to get her on the water slides and her favourite has to be the lazy river. The staff and lifeguards in there were great have even made some good friends whom we still talk to today Really enjoyed this hotel as was very clean, comfortable and relaxingMore

Kevin D,
