Coral Sea Water World

Waterbabies will love this place – as well as the beach, it’s got two huge pools and a waterpark.

This beachfront hotel has a waterpark complete with thrill rides and a lazy river – plus there are two lake-style pools. On the dining front, there’s a trio of restaurants with an Indian and Italian à la carte.

This hotel has a great spot in peaceful Nabq Bay, on its own 400-metre stretch of golden-sand beach. It’s about a 35-minute drive from the bars, shops and restaurants in lively Na’ama Bay.

Onsite waterpark

The aquapark at Coral Sea Water World is on site so, a splashing good time is just footsteps away. The water rides have names like Night Rider, Freefall, Turbulence and Twilight Zone and include tube slides that snake their way downhill, multi-lane racing slides and a bowl-shaped vortex.

Younger swimmers have a pirate-themed splash pool where they can scramble up and over the water, then swoosh and glide back in. And a lazy river gently meanders around the park area too.

There are manufacturer's height restrictions of 1.20m on the big waterslides and the wave pool. These also have an age restriction of either 8 or 10 years and over.

Kids' club

The hotel-run kids' club provides a great range of kids’ activities to fill their days with fun and adventure. For ages 4 to 12 years.

2 outdoor pools

If you don't fancy the slides and chutes, there's always the main pools. One's heated from mid-November to mid-April.

5 times and many more to come

I have already written four reviews below under a different user and forgot my password. I have visited again since those reviews. So will do another. This hotel is absolutely ASTONISHING. I literally do not have a single bad word to say about this hotel, it is expensive, but worth every penny. Family, friends, couples, solo ... You will fit right in. It says it's a family hotel and I was a little put off being a couple of friends around the 20 mark. But I needn't of worried. Five times I have been to this hotel in the past two years and I can't wait till Sharm is up and running again! The rooms are amazing, the layout luxury, in all five rooms I've had, the views have been amazing. Whether you get the garden, water park, pool or sea views. We have had the chance for large terraces, small balcony and garden terraces and all have been more than enough room and space. The rooms are cleaned throughly, the towel art and genera cleaning is better than all the hotels I have ever been to. The cleaner even sorts out makeup and things into neat lines of height or alphabetical order. It's really sweet. The grands are phenomenal all five times I've been and I k ow there is still more to see, I will never get bored of taking an evening stroll around the gardens, really breathtaking. There are two beach ones, two bar in the water park one by the big pool and one by the quiet pool, one in the lobby and one in the Italian bar... Talk about spoilt for choice!! The food at times, leaves a lot to be desired to be honest. But I am SUPER fussy. Breakfast could have a full English, eggs, omlette, pastries and pancakes, fruit, cereal. Lunch - breads, salads, panini, pasta, pizza - dinner similar. Always something even for me being fussy. Snack times could have pizza hotdogs pizza chips cakes rolls crisps biscuits salads chicken and beef meals chilis everything!!! Drinks are perfect, do tel them not too strong if you can't stomach strong drinks. A few times I had to leave mine and get a new one. Waiters always coming around collecting glasses and getting new drinks for you. Really appreciate this. The biggest thing that keeps me coming back to this hotel though is the staff. Animation team are great, though are slacking since head animator Beth left, the bar men and waiters are amazing amd really made our times here so special. I think of each of them as forever life long friends. I miss them all. Egypt is safe. Safer here than here in the uk in my opinion. My last visit in Feb I had to go to the hotel next door and it's nowhere near up to standard of this one. So don't bother looking at other hotels in the area. You'll be disappointed when you look over and see this hotel. We had to fly London to Cairo to Sharm and I'll be doing the same this summer without hesitation. I'll constantly be coming back to this place. It's really a home from home. More

Hot hot hot

We went to this resort in May 15 and absolutely loved it. My daughter spent the entire week in the wave pool!! The food was good and there was plenty of choice, calamari I thought was an odd choice for the children's selection but they were eating it. On the first night our air conditioning broke and within 20 minutes someone had come and fixed it. The service was really good. I did find that a couple of the bar staff were a little short with you unless you were returning guests (there are a lot of these and rightly so the place is lovely - however they did tend to act like they owned the place!!) We have booked another Coral Resort for December fingers crossed the flight restrictions are lifted.More

Jody N,

Lovely and relaxing

Went here in July 2005 with my partner and 12 year old step son. This was a lovely resort, very big! The food was ok, felt like there wasn't a lot of choice from day to day but was overall what to expect from a buffet. The water park is amazing, so nice having this on the door step. Just make sure you take sandals or something for your feet because you cannot walk on the floors anywhere!! It's so hot. The quiet pool was our favourite, not keen on the loud music from the other pool. So the quiet pool was enough for us. Room was really nice, a lot nicer than I expected and very spacious. We had the separate bedroom for children, as I needed some privacy! Cleaners do an amazing job, as do all of the staff there! We even witnessed a lady unfortunately have a heart attack in the swimming pool, and one of the pool staff managed to resuscitate her. I hope he was praised enough for this, he did amazing. They all made 100% effort to help her. Night time entertainment was ok although was a bit repetitive, the Mr & Mrs competition was great although we came last! I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Enjoy :)More
