Coral Sea Water World

Waterbabies will love this place – as well as the beach, it’s got two huge pools and a waterpark.

This beachfront hotel has a waterpark complete with thrill rides and a lazy river – plus there are two lake-style pools. On the dining front, there’s a trio of restaurants with an Indian and Italian à la carte.

This hotel has a great spot in peaceful Nabq Bay, on its own 400-metre stretch of golden-sand beach. It’s about a 35-minute drive from the bars, shops and restaurants in lively Na’ama Bay.

Onsite waterpark

The aquapark at Coral Sea Water World is on site so, a splashing good time is just footsteps away. The water rides have names like Night Rider, Freefall, Turbulence and Twilight Zone and include tube slides that snake their way downhill, multi-lane racing slides and a bowl-shaped vortex.

Younger swimmers have a pirate-themed splash pool where they can scramble up and over the water, then swoosh and glide back in. And a lazy river gently meanders around the park area too.

There are manufacturer's height restrictions of 1.20m on 12 of the big waterslides and the wave pool, and an age restriction for over 8 years. Two slides have an age restriction of over 10 years.

Kids' club

The hotel-run kids' club provides a great range of kids’ activities to fill their days with fun and adventure. For ages 4 to 12 years.

2 outdoor pools

If you don't fancy the slides and chutes, there's always the main pools. One's heated in the winter, with towels and sunbeds.

Love, love , loved it . Amazing Memories .You wont be disappointed

We stayed here for a week on May 20th as a family of four and upgraded to the 2 bedroom room and it was the best hotel room we have ever stayed in. The aircon was brilliant and the bed was so comfy. The kids loved having there own room and telly and I enjoyed the lie ins.😉 The food is lovely and fresh and always pipping hot, they do a bbq every lunchtime which is fab.We never suffered from holiday tummy the whole time we were there . The staff can't do enough for you and don't expect to be tipped but are very appreciative if you do. We never left the hotel in the whole 7 days as there as there was so much to do. The waterslides were brilliant fun and bought out the big kid in you. Bobby the hotel camel was a brilliant addition and only cost £5 (per child) for a ride for the children . My husband did snorkelling on the beach at coral sea and even saw a manta ray ! The only negatives are that the drinks are served out of a bottle and were often flat and the bath is only suitable for very small children . We tried both the Indian and Italian restaurant (you have to pay for you drinks) and loved the Italian , the food was a taste explosion and well worth a visit . We will definatly go back and hopefully soon . We even saw a celebrity #tyler from PINEAPPLE dance studios xMore

Lovely family holiday

We arrived on 13 May for 10 nights, 2 adults and my daughters 11 and 7. The hotel is fantastic, most of the staff couldn't do enough for you. We had a fantastic room overlooking the pool and beach, room 2129. The room was spacious and clean and air con was very welcoming when it's hot! The food was fantastic, so much choice, I especially enjoyed the bbq food at lunch in the main restaurant, was shocked at the variety, so many types of bread, types of potatoes etc at each meal! Something for everyone. Would say dont waste your time at first choice welcome meeting, only interested in sales, not approachable or friendly, didn't really find out anything about the resort from them... Useless. We instead used time tours opposite hotel for trips and wifi, very competitive rates. Hotel wifi was useless! Overall great holiday, although did spend a day in bed with Egyptian tummy upset, however friendly pharmacy at the hotel made me better £20 later! Beach was lovely and enjoyed the waterpark, although my 7 year old was a bit fed up that she couldn't go on the big slides. We spent a lot of time at the main pool, but quickly learnt if you can't beat them join them, towels on bed early as none left at 9am! Try the cocktails when your out there too, my girls loved the kids cocktails and I quite enjoyed the vodka ones. Recommend the Indian restaurant whilst your there, although the night we went, service wasn't great! The Italian was dissapointing as limited menu. Not sure how long it lasts but we were shocked that by 6.30pm it got very dark, the day's flew! Fantastic holiday, can see why people return time and time again.More

Just came back from here on 18th may hotel is great would stay here again food is lovely my only fault was the animation team some were nice but 2 in particular Warren and Kailey are very rude and bring the rest of their team down selling invalid nights out and attitude towards things is disgusting. Hotel staff is lovely really friendly and must say the safest hotel by far I've stayed at can leave anything anywhere food caters for everyone my son is fussy with his eating but he never went hungry and its delicious water park was great kids won't get bored rooms was very spacious and clean well run hotel would certainly go back and can't forget bobby the camel don't like camels but he's an exceptionMore

So the coral sea water world is part of the coral group. They own many in Egypt. The first choice holiday village is also a coral hotel and is just a few hotels down the road. Arrival. As expected. No gob smacking luxury but nice enough. Reception is clean and lots of sofas etc. one point of safety when arriving is KEEP YOUR TODDLERS or ACTIVE LITTLE ONES IN THE RECEPTION. Why?? The wait can be long and if they wander out the glass doors on to the balcony they tend to step up on the wall and rail. A few times I was sat below shouting at new arrival kids to get back as they are close to falling. And their parents are stuck in a big queue. Food. Really good. Plenty of choice and waiting staff are polite and friendly. Italian restaurant is superb. Indian is good too but in February it is windy and cold as it is open air restaurant. So wrap up warm. Summer would be great. Rooms. We had a superior family room and it was very clean. Balcony wasn't good enough to sunbath but ok for sit down and chat. There were jacuzzi rooms below but only seen 1 family use it once. Probably as it was feb. Beach. Nice but I preferred the beach and pier at the holiday village. But again maybe as the sea was choppy this time of year. Waterpark. Clean safe and tonnes of fun. It's restaurant was great too and all staff were great fun. It was never too packed and plenty of beds even well hotel was full. Entertainment. Irish bar was ok at night but usually no chairs if late. Animation team were all fairly new and it showed sometimes. Round the pool entertainment was not like the first choice ones at holiday village. Aaron who did the football was a gent. Football pitch. If you have kids who like football then this was perfect. 3G pitch and used a lot and all kids got to play. The Egyptian workers also came and played and made some great games. Sometimes a little too competitive for young ones. Layout. I did find the layout easy enough to navigate but the open corridors were mind numbing when you are farthest away. Other stuff. Afternoon tea and coffee was a nice touch. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and would go again purely for the food, waterpark and football pitch. Without the latter two, I, my wife and two young boys would probably go elsewhere. Still a good family place.More
