This family-friendly hotel comes with its own waterpark. And it puts you within easy reach of a sandy beach.
The waterpark is the star attraction at this hotel. It features things like a bowl slide and a lazy river. There are 2 big pools here, as well. Meanwhile, meals are covered in 4 restaurants, including an American diner.
Live shows provide the after-dark entertainment. And for more choice you’re just a 2-minute walk from the lively El-Khan district. As for the beach, there’s a sandy stretch about a 10 to 15-minute walk away.
Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. With snacks, afternoon tea and 1 visit per week to the American and Asian à la carte restaurant.
Selected local-brand beer, wine, spirits, water, soft drinks and hot drinks 10.00-24.00.
Snacks at set times.
The pools here are huge, so you'll have plenty of space to take a dip or leisurely swim. One's even a wave pool. The sun terrace wraps around the pool, and is dotted with plenty of sunbeds and parasols so you can enjoy a day lazing by the pool.
Spend the day trying out the rides here, with a wave pool and lazy river for some chilled out fun or a bowl slide, Flowrider surf simulator, multi-lane slide and speed slide for a few more thrills. There's also a children's splash area so the whole family can enjoy the waterpark.
Designed for 3 to 11 year olds, Thomson Kids’ Club offers 2 hours of activities, 5 or 6 days a week. And that includes at least 3 evenings. It’s split into sections, with Tots for 3 to 5 year olds, Team for 6 to 8s, and Tribe for 9 to 11s. Best of all, most kids’ clubs activities are completely free. And outside of peak season, there are parent and toddler sessions 3 days a week, too. For your peace of mind, all Thomson Kids’ Club staff have advance DBS checks and hold NVQ Level 2 childcare qualifications. They’re First Aid trained, and there’ll be at least 2 of them on duty at all times.
Had a fantastic week in this hotel.Everyone was friendly and couldn't do enough to help.
We stayed in block 4 in a family room (had only booked a double with a sofa bed). The room was ideal for myself, my husband and 15 year old daughter. It was kept spotlessly clean by the cleaner ,he was very friendly and took time to ask how our day was going. He took great pride in his towel art and if he saw us coming back to the room he would come over for a "reveal".
We didn't go to the children's pool and always managed to get a spot by the main pool which was quieter. My daughter and I enjoyed the daily aqua fit session run by the Thomson reps.Mohamed at the pool kept us in drinks all day and if it wasn't on his tray he would go and get it from the bar.The pool bar served pizzas and toasties as well as ice cream in the afternoon s so there was no need to go to the main buffet if you didnt want to.
The main buffet was ok but my daughter and husband lived mainly on pizzas and chips as neither of them were very adventurous with their meals.I did try various dishes which were acceptable. The desserts were lovely and there was a great selection.I must mention the waiter Mahmoud as he brightened up mealtimes, having a laugh and a joke.He also knew our drinks and our names.
There are two a la carte restaurants, we only tried the American which was good.It was nice to have a more personal service in there.
The hotel grounds and interior are kept immaculate and cannot be faulted. The main bar and lobby got busy at night as everyone was tapping into the free wifi. The bar staff were efficient and friendly.
The Thomson reps all work very hard to ensure guests have a good time, though alot is geared towards families with younger children. It might be useful to have a club for teenagers so they can get a break from their parents for a while.
Nabq bay has plenty of the usual tourist shops and markets but they can be pushy. There are also Western restaurant chains if you fancy a change but we didn't eat in any of them.
I would recommend getting an Internet dongle for your stay as the hotel wifi is poor and only free at the front of the hotel, we got ours for £20 for the week from a shop just up the road as recommended by the rep.
I cannot fault this hotel and plan to go back next year.More

This hotel is a must
My family and I have just returned from the coral sea Aqua club, our overall experience was outstanding.the staff were excellent and so helpful.food was fresh and varied.we went with six children so the Aqua park was a God send to keep them entertained.our room was spacious and clean.overall a great holiday venue.my only fault would be that the entertainment of an evening was repetitive, more variety would of been better.i would highly recommend the coral sea Aqua park.More

Really good hotel some bad points
When arrived at our room all was lovely, my partner had got me a swim up room as a surprise. It wasn't until next day that we realised we were on the cold side and couldn't use our pool, I was really upset. Complained to reception and they did move us but not till Thursday we were goin home Sunday. Otherwise all really nice water park is brilliant, Thompson shows not very good.More

first holiday with grand children
we are just back from a holiday at the Coral Sea Aqua Club in Nabq Bay Sharm El Sheikh our first visit to this hotel we went with an open mind as we always go to hotels more orientated around adults, but we promised our son & daughter in law & six grand children that we would go on a family holiday with them, we went with tongue in cheek but we were pleasantly surprised the hotel was very clean and fairly we maintained, all rooms face inwards to the water park the view from our room was quite good as we were on the 1st floor our room was big and very comfortable, the food was brilliant very well cooked and a very good choice and was hot which is a bonus as a lot of hotels in Sharm the food is lukewarm we would not go back again as it was very noisy but then it is a water park after all. the staff were very good they couldn't do enough for you we spent a lot of time looking after the youngest as she is only five months so the rest of the family could go on the slides. a big thank you to management and staff for looking after us so well thank you but not our kind of holiday.More
