Jungle Aqua Park Hotel

Loading

It’s easy to see why this place is called the Jungle Aqua Park Hotel. With 21 swimming pools and a waterpark with 21 slides for adults and 14 just for kids, it was made for water babies. The pools are surrounded by roomy sun terraces that are dotted with loungers, parasols and palm trees, so there’s plenty of space to relax.

Pool scene aside, the rooms deserve a special mention. They’re really spacious, and come with cream-coloured walls, chunky black-wood furnishings and tropical paintings. Tribal-style vases line up along wall-hung shelves, giving things an ethnic vibe. In-room extras, meanwhile, come in the form of satellite TVs, minibars and balconies.

When it comes to dining, you’ve got six restaurants to choose from, so you can sample a different type of cuisine each night. Among your options are an Asian eatery, a Mediterranean joint and a restaurant serving up Italian specialities.

All in all, it's a formula that's seen the hotel clinch a TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice award for 2013.

Onsite waterpark

Our SplashWorld hotels offer up a break from the norm, in that each one grants you free entry to a first-rate waterpark. Better yet, you can ride the slides as often as you like. Some parks are within the grounds, others are an easy drive away. And while each one is different, the kind of rides you can expect include slides, Lazy Rivers, Wave Pools, and Surf Simulators.

And just so you don't get any nasty surprises, there's a height restriction of 110cm to use the slides here. Also, kids need to be at least 5 years to use the Lazy River, Wave Pool and Aqua Tower and be supervised by an adult. The snack bar here is part of your all inclusive package.

Pools

Including 2 heated outdoor pools and an indoor pool.

Kids' pool

With slides and fountains.

Great for Kids

We have two boys under 5 and had a great time at Jungle. We normally do slightly smaller hotels than this one, so were a little nervous that it would be overwhelming. But it is spread out enough to find your own bit of peace and quiet when needed, whilst still having the madness of the aqua park close enough at hand. The staff are friendly and polite, without being over familiar, and always happy to help. We were also impressed to see the painting team out regularly, touching up bits here and there (whilst never getting in the way); it just meant the place felt cared for. With so many restaurants (and pools) to choose from, it took us a couple of days to find the ones that suited us best. But all part of the fun exploring. In the end we found the Mediterranean and Tagine restaurants provided the best options for our family: familiar, but with enough local delicacies to make it feel like we were in Egypt. (I'm not interested in eating Chinese in Egypt...) We only ventured into the kids mini disco once - it was too loud and all seemed very focused on the Russian contingent for our boys' liking. But everyone else looked like they were having a good time... just not for us. The pools though, especially the water park and the heated main pool, were a total hit. There is so much variety that the boys (and us) never got bored. The beach was not great: nice to go to for a bit of a change, but the sand is not ideal for digging and building castles and there's not much else to do. A walk along the pier was well worth it, though, as lots of great looking fish could be seen. Hurghada airport is significantly better than the one in Sharm - there's a mini souk as well as decent coffee bars and other amenities. We had made sandwiches after lunch to have before we boarded, it saved a bit of cash, but we need not have as there was plenty of choice should you be less inclined - better than the stock, over priced, fare on the Thompson flight, though. The transfer is only 20mins. This meant that we did have jets flying over every couple of hours, but not to the point of distraction. We did get treated to the Egyptian Air Force flying over in their latest fighters once or twice, which was rather cool. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for families looking to unwind and have some fun in a safe environment. Food is good and array of fun things to do will keep you all entertained.More

As grandparents, not our choice of hotel but loved every minute

We have stayed at the Dana beach before and thats a pick albertros 5 * and you know it. There were differences, of course but the high standards of food and cleanliness where still there. For such a large hotel it was nice that there were always plenty of chairs and tables in the dining rooms and on the terrace, and always a sunbed which was amazing and so welcome, after-all thats why we go to the sunny places - to lie in the sun. There was a heated pool by the animations stand and the aqua park pools were heated so no problems there, but the pool outside our room was frosty !! but that did not stop some folks swimming so well done to them. All the staff were pleasant and friendly, my special thanks go to the tall man at reception, our room boy and the internet man who forever fixed my wifi. Our children (grown up) and our grandchildren and us were very happy with the hotel, the aqua park and the entertainment offered, believe you me we have seen an awful lot worse. I have never been anywhere before where there was something for all the family of all ages to do together, so well done Jungle Aqua park.More

Third time in Jungle Aqua Park. Probably the best family resort in Egypt!

This was our third time in this hotel. Quality is even better, than last 2 times! If we talk about All Inclusive, this resort is really very all inclusive! Every day new botteled waters to the room, finally free WIFI, good service, clean. Complimentary birthday cake to my little daughter-what else I could expect? We just hope, that Egypt is able to stabilize political situation. We would like very muchh to come back at least every year! But to hotel management-keep up good job! I've recommended this hotel to many of my friends, and everybody have been very satisfied so far. This time there was 7 people with me, and we will come back again!More

It's all about details :) ...

First of all, you have to know, that after two visits, I still dont know what to think about this hotel :) . When we arrived in the morning, we were welcomed on reception by most arogant guy I've ever met in whole Egypt. We came for breakfest and we were suprised by lot on new stuff. The hotel really improved from our last visit. After breakfast, we wait another hour for room. It was quite long, but whatever. Another guy on reception gave us card from room. From this point, staff was really friendly and helpfull. We were guided to our room by friendly guy and we talked about changes in hotel. We had two rooms in one-floor villa (2single ; 1double bed). But, one room looks like it wasnt prepared. Also, after one lay down on the bed, we discovered that its broken. So we told to our cleaner. Also very nice and helpful guy. After 15 minutes, one of the managers walked in, called someone and told us to take dinner. After 1 hour, bed was replaced and room was really well prepared. When talking about food, there's lot to write about. Resort include 7 restaurants and they improved alot, but i still think, that this is weakest part of hotel. They need to work on food quality and be better cooking, because with it, it will be best hotel :) . But now, I'm saying that food is good. Nothing to worry about, but also nothing to be amazed of. Room itself is really nice, but you shouldnt look for details, because you're in Egypt. If you accept this fact, room is really nice. If you look closer, you find out dirty curtains and hot water after 5 minutes of showering :) . But for Egypt, its really good and i could reccomend. Aquapark, as the best part of the hotel, is the best part of the hotel :) In talk of numbers, there's 15 kid slides and 16 really big adult slides. Also all pools here are heated, so they're not as cold as pool in front of your villa. When I summary all thing, I could really reccomend this hotel for families with children, small or big and also for people who want to have fun and active holiday :) . But dont expect luxury resort, because for it, you have to find something different ;) . Hotel has 4 stars and that losing one, its the food, details in room and that idi*t on reception :) .More
