With three pools, four restaurants and a long beach, the Caribbean World Resort has some impressive vital statistics.
The Caribbean World Resort is a newcomer to Skytours. It's right on the sands of Soma Bay, just a short shuttle ride from the town centre of Hurghada.
The hotel is a low-rise number, with terracotta-coloured buildings, pools and bars spread throughout manicured gardens. And inside – as you might have guessed – the hotel has a Caribbean feel.

Not great for British
Just back from 11 nts here and so glad to be home! The few pro's are- spacious and clean room. Pool clean and not freezing. Grounds are immaculate thanks to the hard working gardeners. The weather was lovely however it is very windy in the resort. Cons- dining: edible food is scarce - if you like salad and boiled eggs for breakfast you'll be OK. There are 2 al la carte restaurants- don't bother as they're not worth it. I would've lived on bread rolls but beware as there are sparrows nesting in the dining room! The staff don't do anything to deter them from picking at the food! The dining room is more like a works canteen, very noisy and echoey with no atmosphere. Only other place to eat is a limited time at the beach with dodgy burgers or hotdogs. Very poor table service - in 2 weeks we had drinks served to us about 3 times. Location- sits about an hour from hurghada with nothing but desert and derelict hotels around. Avoid the shop keepers at the hotel - very pushy and annoying. The majority of guests are Russian- think there was about 10 British in total when we were there. The drinks are served in small glasses around 200ml! Even water! No small bottles of water given out which is a first for us. Could go on and on but I think u get the idea. There are better hotels nearer hurghada so if you're keen on going I'd try one of those. Hurghada itself is very dirty, poor and full of really pushy shop keepers, stick to the fixed price shops for a bargain. If you have babies then steer clear of the cots supplied - I've included a photo of one - the spars are wide enough for babies to get their heads through so very dangerous!More
Not recommended place
I stayed last vacation with family in this resort it's from my point of view not recommended because of bad food actually my wife find a human hair inside sweet, we didn't face such situation in any hotel or resort the staff in restaurant is not organised also first day they prepare for our group special dinner which we found very bad and cold. I'll not go to this hotel again.More

Caribbean hotel with amazing staff
Arrived after dark, so no real first impression. Stayed in a family room 11001-2 basically you have 2 rooms one large double and a smaller twin room. Rooms are very clean, beds are very comfortable, pillows were a little hard for my wife and I but our daughter and granddaughter were more than happy with theirs. Rooms are a little dated, but don't spend too much time in room. We where close to the beach and right next to the children's pool, the gardens are a credit to the hotel, the gardeners got to know my granddaughter and everyday gave her a beautiful flower. The restaurant was well laid out with plenty of waiter to get whatever you asked for. Food was a let down, but that was because I am very fussy eater. The lads Ali and Ahmed who work on the beach are a credit to the hotel, very inventive had your bed ready most days. Now the best thing about this hotel was the animation team, we have traveled all over the world, this teams has to be the best we have had the pleasure to interact with. All the team were great but a big thank you to Zizo, Mario, Gaby and Rihanna. The beach bar is run by Ahmed and Beshoy who are a great team Beshoy bring the beer to you beds whenever you wanted it. All the staff in the hotel can do enough for you, the only thing missing is British tourist, I can't say how safe we felt even outside the hotel. We will be returning in October.More
The beach is the most beautiful in Egypt. The sea is beautiful. The food is excellent. The staff is friendly. Not exactly the cleanest rooms, but who goes to the sea to live in a clean room as well as a pharmacy. The wind is blowing, but not always, and not much on the beach.More
