Tuesday, Palma - MAJORCA

Sartene

Gaudi's Barcelona

Greatest Views of Barcelona
Barcelona is a city that needs no introduction. And the best way to see it is from up high - that’s where this trip comes in. First up, we’ll head for Mount Tibidabo. Standing tall at over 500 metres, it keeps watch over the city. And the views from the top are spectacular. From here, it’s on to Montjuïc. Aquarium & Park Guell
This trip takes in two of Barcelona’s coolest places - the aquarium and Parc Güell. We’ll start with the aquarium, rated as one of the best in Europe. Over 11,000 sea creatures call this place home, everything from angel fish to tiger sharks. As well as tanks dedicated to tropical, cold water and freshwater fish, there’s also an 80-metre underwater tunnel with a moving walkway. You’ll get the feeling you’re walking along the sea bed with huge stingrays gliding above your head, and shoals of fish darting around. Next up is Parc Güell, one of Gaudi’s most famous creations. This place is packed with gingerbread-like houses and loads of colourful mosaics. Greeting you at the entrance is a cheeky-looking dragon, which guards the staircase that sweeps up the side of the hill. And make sure you head for the Room of a Hundred Columns – it’s not actually a room, but a cavern supported by angular pillars.
