We’re encouraging people to submit stories that’ll make really interesting reading for our followers. Also, it’s a great way to promote your own writing to our readers and subscribers. We’ll be featuring the best guest post on our main content slider every month, which means your post could get even more visibility.

Rules

There are a few rules and regulations you need to bear in mind before you get involved. Under our “Your Stories” Agreement, your post will be on our blog indefinitely, unless you ask us to remove it. The post must be unique to us and you must hold all copyrights to the material you’ve used within it (and maintain these copyrights). By sharing your post with us, you’re giving us permission to promote your article on our other channels, for example Facebook, Twitter, email etc. You won’t be able to modify the content within your post after it’s been published either on your blog or on other channels (this is to stop spammers). And lastly, if we feel it’s necessary, we may modify your article to meet our blog standards.

    HI
    WE WERE AWAITNG THE 24 HR REMINDER AND HAD IN MIND OUR TRAVEL WAS PM MONDAY 20 MAY BUT WHEN WE ARRIVED FOUND OUT IT WAS PM 19 MAY AND WE WER EEFECTIVELY 24 HRS LATE. i WAS UNABLE TO LOOK INTO THE MANAGE BOOKING OR FIND CONFIRMATION.
    WE THEN REBOOKED BY ANOTHER AIRLINE AT GREAT EXPEMSE TO REACH UK IN TIME FOR OUR BUSINESS,

    PLEASE INFORM ME IF A REPLACEMENT FLIGHT IS OFFERED AT A LATER DATE TO MAKE UP FOR THIS MAJOR DISTURBANCE.

    Booking a villa holiday with thompsons they offer you transport to your destination . We booked Majorca for 8 people plus luggage and could not fit every one in the small cars they provided /so they forced us to upgrade to a mini bus which will cost us £300 although they promise in the brochure to as part of the deal to.
    supply transport not a good deal alan

    Is anyone working in customer services? I’ve spent two days trying to contact someone on the 0844 number – 20 mins yesterday and 10 mins today, I’ve even tried all the different options but can’t get through to anyone. This is becoming ridiculous. I am trying to follow up on an EU claim submitted in January, I have called many times, the ‘you will be contacted in….days’ has been extended so many times and it is now over 100 days. My reference number is W/3713550.

    Four of us arrived back 21/05/13 from a weeks cruise on the Island Escape. None of us had cruised before and have always had all inclusive holidays in different resorts. The ship was brilliant our cabin on deck 8 was a bit small but we only used it for sleeping and changing because there was so much to do throughout the day and night. My husband was amazed that the all inclusive package included Boddingtons (never had that before) and the wines and spirits were very good we have had some rough brandy on some holidays. Maid service twice a day as many towels as you wanted and pool towels provided.The food in the 2 main restuarants was excellent but as a treat we went to the al la carte on 1 evening this was fantastic 3 courses for £14.99 lobster thermidor and fillet mignon on the menu. The waiters were very good with the drinks always on hand when a refill was required.There was always something to do from quizzes to bingo masterchef and game shows live music in the sundowner and bounty bars botth very good but the highlight for us was the evening shows in the ocean theatre Ross Roberts and his team were fantastic West end style shows so slick and professional also a Dolly Parton and Katherine Jenkins tribute and a very funny comedian. We did 2 trips Rome and Amalfi Both very well organised although Rome was manic and involved a lot of walking but the young tour guide Teddy was brilliant looking after my friend an I and making sure we did not get lost.This was a fab holiday and we will definately go again can thoroughly reccomend it if you want a fun filled holiday with very nice friendly people crew and passengers alike and a laid back approach.     travelling on thomson spirit on the baltic cruise on 29 june 2013 from Newcastle and just received my e-ticket that says my luggage allowance is 20kg, I previously asked this question and was told that as I was sailing from the UK there was no limit on luggage as long as each piece did not weight above 23kg, can anyone confirm this?

    l am going on a all inclusive tips and drink etc cruise in sept any guidance if l feel l want to give that bit extra for anyone who l feel has done that bit extra?

      We include tips and service charges in the price of your holiday so if you’d like to offer tips to anybody you feel has given you a great service then this is done at your own discretion.

    11/18 May 2013

    I am writing this letter to comment on Steve and Bianca at the Rocamarina Hotel in Cala Egos.

    I have just returned having spent a week there (11/18 May) and feel I must write this email to say how professional Steve is. He sorted out an incident for us in a very efficient and and calm way and he is truly an asset to the company. The way he handled any problems, if there were any, and he was always to hand whenever you wanted him, and if he wasn’t there he would always make sure you knew where he was….my thanks to him.

    Bianca pulled out all the stops to ensure our holiday went smoothly and her enthusiasm was second to none.

    We had a fantastic time and I will be returning again for another fun filled trip in August.

    Please can you make sure they both know I have sent this email.
