How to read this graph
This graph shows the score of both teams over time. Each jump upwards indicates when points were scored.
The overall shape of the graph (and the gap between the two teams) shows you how the game was played out over the 80 minutes — when it was close, when teams opened up a lead, and when the other closed the gap.
Was it a closely fought battle, or did one team run away with it early? Was the game decided in a short period of time? Did anyone score a crucial try just before half time? Or did they clinch victory in the dying seconds?
The first half and second half of some games have a recorded length of more than 40 minutes. We have adjusted the graphs to reflect this difference in the data. The dashed line indicates half-time.
